I have driven by Zoup for 3 years. This cold, nasty day seemed like the time to try it. Fantastic idea! I had 2 small soups: Chicken Potpie and Lemon Lentil. Both really delicious. The staff was really nice as I tried multiple samples. It was clean, quick and good. I will definitely be back!

I had never heard of this place before my husband discovered it while trying to find lunch for me in St. Louis while travelling. Service was quick and friendly. The chicken sandwich that he ordered was delicious. My lobster bisque was very good, although the texture of some of the lobster meat was off a bit. Another reviewer mentioned crawfish in the lobster bisque, so that might be the reason for the texture difference. If I lived here, I would frequent Zoup often.

My absolute favorite place to go for soup and salad! Friendly staff, great salads and always a fantastic variety of soups available. The staff never minds giving you as many samples as you like, they encourage you to try different things, and will also tell you their favorites if you are having trouble deciding like I often do. I actually don’t prefer the lobster bisque or chicken pot pie they have daily, but I can always find something else I like, & a lot of times even the healthiest soups are very flavorful and end up being the ones I choose. Another fantastic thing is they have a rewards punch card that doesn’t expire quickly like Panera rewards. I’m also able to feel full after eating a pick two combo from zoup, where as Panera usually leaves me still hungry. Great service without being packed and loud. I’d actually like to see it busier to make sure it stays around! Give it a shot!

I really love the lobster bisque soup when I sample it, but I’ve ordered large bowls of it twice, and both times, I’m over it pretty quickly and gave it to my husband to finish for leftovers. The roll I had with it the last time wasn’t cooked all the way, not doughy, but just not quite done. I came in no more than an hour after they opened, and the soups looked like they had been sitting a very long time. I guess they make them the night before. Their selection changes daily, but they do keep some of the same staples every day. Definitely not cheap for what it is. It is a plus that you get to sample them first. I don’t think I’d go back unless I was with someone who wanted to go, and I’d try a different soup in the smallest size. Panera/St. Louis Bread Co’s broccoli cheddar soup is much better.

We have passed this place since it opened, and one day we decided to try it for a lunch date. We were definitely not disappointed. Since we lost Sweet Tomatoes in Creve Coeur we needed a new place, to eat fast food but it was healthy for us. We love soup, salad, and sandwiches. The soup was hot and the Greek wrap was delicious. However, I did notice the wrap did fall apart. So maybe a little bit more of a heartier tortilla is in order. A thicker tortilla would be ideal take note from Chipotle and Qdoba. The lobster bisque was amazing and we had the chicken pot pie soup. A little disappointed that they don’t keep the same soups, the lady at the register said that they rotate the soups daily. They do have a large variety, so there will be something different to try every time I go in there. A new experience every time I go in. The restaurant was very clean, and the service was friendly. The soup was hot and flavorful. Wrap was still good, even if it fell apart. I was very impressed.

I like this place. The different types of soups they have every day are great and the fact that you can try a sample of all of them if you like is wonderful. The Lobster Bisque is my favorite. A little pricey for soup though you get a lot. It comes with your choice of bread on the side. Sourdough is yum. They have good sandwiches and salads also, that are pretty good. Its in a weird location, on the side of Aldis but worth the stop.

Great lunch spot! Fast, friendly and flavorful food. Service is friendly and there is a wide variety of soup options. You are also able to sample different ones as there are so many options. Also offer salads and sandwiches, but soup is the main item here. Easy parking, and speedy service makes it a good lunch spot.

Very tasty. Great for lunch. I had the chicken pot pie and was very impressed. I like that you can sample the different soups before you make a selection. They have many different options. If you aren’t in the mood for soup, there are also choices, although I have only had their soup so far.

First time here staff was very friendly and let me sample several soups before deciding and helped me put together a great meal. I will defiantly be back. I ended up with the crab bisque and sour dough bread. Very filling meal for $ 10.

I eat here at least once a week, usually more often. In my opinion it is the ideal work day lunch spot. Fast service, flavorful food, healthy options, and readily available nutrition information. I have never been disappointed. I always get soup, and the free samples guarantee I won’t be disappointed with my selection. I rarely order salad or sandwiches here. They are OK, but just not their forte in my opinion.

Just all fired up about my Zoup! here in the Lou okay? Been like forever, I think. Almost funny. The service was particularly awesome; everyone working there seemed to be very nice and helpful. I do actually not remember ever having like banana peppers in my Greek salad but oh well. Yummy yum anyway the recommended lobster bisque. Fancy. A comfortable dining atmosphere with a healthy variety on the menu. Made it there for lunch with my dad before grocery shopping in that very same plaza. The soda fountain was cool and refreshing. Before I go for the guilt trip right and drop from embarassment, only saying. In fact, Everything Matters.

Excellent lunch! I was here around noon on a Saturday and there was no line(but it did get busier as I ate). They have little cups so you can sample the soups and pick one you like. I got the«pick two» option and chose chicken pot pie soup with a salad. All the soups come with a little chunk of bread. Delicious and very filling! Perfect for a chilly day. Also the staff was VERY friendly and helpful, I was really impressed. Great customer service.

I had lunch here about a week ago and was not impressed at all. Seems like another place trying to pass itself off as a healthy fast food alternative and it’s nothing but the opposite. When I attended it was moderately busy and it still took about 15 minutes to get my food. Once I received my order(seafood bisque and a sandwich) I had spent way to much money and found the quality to be mediocre at best. This appears to be one of a growing number of places that projects and image of quality and a step above traditional fast food but that could not be more deceiving. I doubt I give this place a second chance.

Great option for lunch. They had many soups, like 12 or more, to choose. You can select 2 – 3 options for your size of soup. They have nice-looking salads and small sandwiches to accompany your choices. I like that they give you the ½−½ option, you know, the choice of two halfsies-soup, salad or sandwich. The only thing I didn’t really care for was the lump of bread served with my soup. It really wasn’t necessary and it was rather flavorless. I presume this is a chain. This location that we visited was clean, the staff were nice and the food was quick and tasty.

Zoup is a very attractive new fast spot for Soup and a Sandwich. That is were the nicety ends. The food it’s self needs a lot off work. The«award winning» Lobster Bisque has pieces of shell and is made with more crawdad than lobster. The sourdough roll had such a bad artificial taste the birds were the lucky recipient of my roll. The sandwich was not good. I cannot see giving this a second chance– way to many places to eat in STL. Just another nod to St. Louis Bread Company for ruling the fast soup category for decades. Head just a few miles West on Olive to Vivianoes for fresh, homemade Soup, Salads, and Sandwiches.

First off, I would like to state, I hope and expect this review to be updated for the better in the future. I decided to try here today for lunch since it is on my work campus. We arrived at the peak of lunch time, so I was expecting it to be a bit busy. There was a line, but for a soup, salad, sandwich place I was expecting a quick turn around. Sadly, I was grossly wrong! We ordered around 12:20 and my food did not arrive until 12:48. That is INSANE for a half soup/sandwich. Additionally, they forgot to make my friends sandwich, so once we finally assumed that, we asked them and his sandwich arrived at about 12:55. I got the Lobster Bisque which was the best part of my experience. It was quite tasty. This is the saving grace from a 1 star review. My 4 cheese sandwich was a hot mess. It was about 85% bread 15% cheese. It had about as much flavor as a hobo’s shoe. Very disappointing. My coworkers sandwich the Southwest Turkey had the same problem. Way to much bread, and not enough substance within. It is on par or maybe even a little worse than Subway. All in all, this place seems very popular, but I don’t see the appeal… but then again the largest fast food chain in the world is Subway, and I wouldn’t even remotely consider eating there… I will give this place one more go at a later date to see if they can improve their flow of customers, and improve the quality of their portions. Hot tip for those who want to try this place though, is order online and carry it out. No lunch is worth waiting almost half an hour for!

I live nearby and was so excited to see Zoup coming up — soups are like food for my soul. I love soups. Period. Boyfriend and I made our first trip this week after a long work day — we were both starving. I really like how they give you their little script(«100s of different soups, 12 rotated daily(except lobster bisque & chicken pot pie), samples welcome, every soup comes w bread). We sampled the lobster bisque and BF was sold. I got the chicken pot pie(saw the positive review on here and had to have). We also split the Greek chicken wrap and a brownie. YUM! We both loved our soups! I am a huge fan of the chicken pot pie and already want to get it again but at the same time try their other soups. I also felt like I got more soup for the price than I would have at Panera. aThe wrap was pretty good but nothing that blew my mind. The brownie was super rich, chocolately, and most importantly, soft and chewy. I would go back just for a brownie. All in all, I am SO thrilled for Zoups to open near me and my work!
