I ordered a small white pizza. And I know that everyone has their version of it. This was not exactly my version but it was quite good. Would I order this again? probably not. Would I try another kind of pizza– yes Would I recommend the place? Absolutely!

The pizza is really good. I am however disappointed with the Philly cheese steak. It was made with cheap frozen fatty meat. You would think a place like this would use fresh roast beef or something. Stick with the pizza if you go here. I do not know if the other dishes are good but it might be worth it.

Not what it used to be. I’ve eaten pizza from this very shop for roughly 25 years. What I had today was disgusting. The pizza in this shop used to be my favorite. As of this past visit and several other recent visits, I can certify it isn’t what it used to be and definitely isn’t worth the $. I never see the owners anymore as well. Its a shame because I do have many memories from my youth in this place.

Not good. They pizza is below average and doesn’t taste good. The dough is not pizza dough and the sauce and cheese left a lot to ‘ve desired. The staff is not friendly. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Nice place to come grab a slice… Delicious delicious delicious… had buffalo chicken pizza and pepperoni rolls. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! Will be coming back again and again.

This is a continuation of my visit to the family and my never ending quest for decent pizza. This one is a great candidate and I highly recommend. We got a sausage and green pepper(my all time favorite combination) and an eggplant and onion. Both were great and a yum. There are 2 Capriccio Pizza parlors within a block and a half of each other. This one appears to be the smaller version. The other one seems to be more crowded. Not exactly sure why, but may have to find out since I liked this one so much. Mangia Mangia…

Haha! I’d heard Capriccio II is better so I’d always gone there but today I called the wrong number so they called and I went down the road(basically next door!) and got my stuff. I don’t think I’d be able to tell the difference and this is one of the best pies in the area. I stick mostly to the basics but looking over the counter I saw what was clearly a Philly cheesesteak pie complete with Cheez Whiz. Not so sure about that! The chicken parm hero was good too, but I wish they didn’t serve it in styrofoam!

Capriccio’s was always a treat as a kid. It had it’s ups and downs, but the highs were usually very high and the lows were always understood to be temporary forgivable errors. When I return these days, I can’t help but expect it to serve the same lousy pizza with fake cheese that is prevalent elsewhere today. But Cappriccio has yet to disappoint. The pizza is as good as it has ever been. Capriccio II just up the street does not compare.

I grew up on Capriccio Pizza. Every Friday night, my Dad would head to Capriccio’s and chat with the owners while he waited for 2 pies. They were always delicious. In high school, my friends and I would even walk a little further just to grab a slice here at lunch. Visiting my parents this past weekend, I enjoyed pizza for the first time in years from Capriccio and wasn’t disappointed. The crust is thin and it’s always heavy on the cheese, but it brought back great memories. It’s a great local spot that shouldn’t be missed when in Croton.

I have to start with a warning– DONOT expect reasonable sanity on a friday night. Outside of that I was amazed by the way the pie making staff worked together. Hubby and I walked in an order and wandered next door to choose a movie or two for rental, thinking it would be ready when we returned, Not only was it not ready– it was lost. Here is where it gets good– they got right on it even though they were making and baking pies as fast as they could get them out the door. We had heard they were the best pie in town, but I have to say I was not overly impressed. They were average to me. I have not lived in the metro area long but we are doing a bang up job of trying pies out to find the best and say we did our duty by NY style pizza pies. Personally we will stick to the pie place closer to our house but Capriccio’s is not bad by far. I hear they are the only place around with Chicken Marsala pie. All in all, it is «ok» not bad or amazing either way and prices are reasonable. Remember that we were in on a crazy friday night– maybe it is better when things are a little more steady?

I haven’t been to Capriccio’s pizza in more than ten years, but I have a lot of good memories of delicious pizza and calzones. Capriccios is probably what I’ve compared all other pizza places in my life to, and haven’t really found anywhere better. If you’re in Croton-On-Hudson for some reason(hey, it’s a stop on the Metro North) and you want some AWESOME pizza, check out Capriccios!
