made the mistake of taking the family there today for mother’s day brunch. The meal was a total disaster. We had 1pm reservations and arrived 15 minutes early, and there was already a line of 20 people in front of us. They were completely disorganized and had lines of people coming in from two different entrances, so one party was always butting in front of people who had arrived earlier. Management was not visibly present and clearly overwhelmed and the place was badly understaffed. The omelette station was unmanned all during the time we were there. They constantly ran out of plates and food. The lines for the buffet were horrible, and people were again butting in line. Terrible experience. Will never return. Worst Mother’s Day meal we ever had, and it was extremely expensive to boot. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I loved my burger sans bun. Cooked to perfection. The only thing I didn’t like was the mashed potatoes. They were cold and lacking lumps. I suspect they may have been boxed. Great drinks, as well, and very friendly waitstaff. My 4 stars are for the burger and drinks!

Very clean and homely feeling place. Excellent staff and great food. I love the 6oz sirloin and baked potato with the fresh salad bar.

So I had the chopped«steak“gravy and mashed potatoes … although it seems like the most simple thing; I have a problem. The chopped steak is a hamburger, amd 70⁄30 at best. The gravy is canned… at least I hope so, if someone back there is making this… and they are proud of it… Y’all need lessons from a real cook. well they put raw onions in the gravy… raw red onions by the way amd not in the gravy but rather ON the hamburger patty, wtf … and the mashed were 100% instant and EWWWW. On the bright side the beer was inexpensive.

This place is clean and modernized. It is like a Friendly’s restaurant or maybe a Howard Johnson restaurant the food is good and a good value but not fancy. The burger is big and juicy. There is a salad bar that is adequate and all the items were fresh and not canned. The clam chowder soup was full of clams and creamy. I heard it can be noisy when the musician is there and the bar fills up. I was there at 6 pm so it was quiet and friendly the staff was trying hard to please. I will go again

The local paper recently published a story about this restaurant, touting a new accomplished chef who intended to introduce better quality and more interesting cuisine. If true, that chef must have already fled or was an imposter. We saw no evidence of that in the ordinary menu. For example, the mashed potatoes were from a box, the gravy from a jar, and the service was slow. Don’t waste your money.

This creepy little dive bar will leave you begging for the check so you can leave. The food is bad, slimy salads or over-cooked bar food. Their knowledge of drinks is limited to draft bud light and soft drinks. Catch them on a weekend to watch trashy people fight.

what a mean review the first one is… first of all the Grill is attached to a best western hotel, let that sink in attached to a hotel… that already tells you a lot, if you know what i mean. by no means a dive bar, it has windows. the restaurant has two parts and a bar in a glass box, for real i think thats kind of funny. we stayed in a hotel next door and wanted to walk for dinner, there was a mexican choice and this, so we chose burgers… we got seated quickly and served fast also. the burger choices are plentiful and pretty interesting for these backwoods. i took the stuffed burger with is new, they advertise it never frozen ground beef stuffed with jalapeños and cheese, it was pretty decent, not really rare as i ordered but ok. i had no chips or fries but the daily veggie choice that didnt cost any extra. my partner had the other new burger, i don’t remember the name but it came with shoestring onions on it, he liked it also. its not a very happy place though i have to say, i guess pointing back to the attached to a Best Western… its kind of dark and not very attractive but the food is decent and we didnt come to hang out so i was ok with the place. no special beer selections or local beers unfortunately, all around ok.
