Had the hot pastrami, and the pastrami was old and chewy. My wife had the signature wrap which had no seasoning and doesn’t taste good, they should at least add some herbs. This place is horrible. The white girl in the front looked like she hates working at this place. Only the rest of the staff was nice. The water was good though.

Food is tasty and I love the variety on the menu. I would return again if I was in the area but not a location I would make a special trip too. Service was ok, could improve on it though.

I tried the spicy chicken pesto panini. Pesto chicken panini is one of my favorites, and having a spicy version was interesting to me. The flavors in the actual sandwich were actually good, and it was nice to have the avocado in the sandwich too, but the bread on the panini was soggy. It may have been too many ingredients, as they tended to slide out and it was hard to eat the sandwich. I was disappointed that they forgot the pickle that comes with the sandwich, but with one staff member working the register and delivering the food, I thought the fries would hold me over. Now, it’s rare for me to not enjoy potatoes deep fried in oil, but the ones they served here were unfortunately really bland. I feel like they are probably unsalted, but many of them were also served lukewarm. Should have opted for the pickle. I’ve had smoothies here before, and they are just okay. Nothing you can’t blend on your own before heading out the door for work. Panini prices probably work out to be the same as other cafes, but I can’t help but find it expensive for not really nailing the quality.

Food was good, portions were small. Service is mediocre at best. It was so cold that we could see our breath as we ate and staff was willing to close the door half way so it would not be so cold on a rare 48 degree day n LA? Not a positive experience.

New Chef David is incredible. His salsa is among the best I’ve ever had. If they would just open for breakfast on the weekends they’d be perfect!

I honestly don’t like ordering from here, the food is not that great and they always mess up my order. But because I work close by and couldn’t get away, I called in and ordered a grilled cheese no tomato… the hostess sent it back because it had tomato… I got a grilled cheese with tomato seeds … guys– next time remake the sandwich correctly like you’re supposed to. Thanks.

Set the scene. You missed the lunch email and the P.A. has already brought food back from somewhere tasty, trendy and maybe a little pricey. you also forgot your lunch today. You are also slammed. Its getting to be about 2pm. you should eat because you are getting hangry and need to step away from your desk. .Enter Signature café. Burger.aiight. Protein salad thing. p good. Club sandwich. p good.over priced. but p good. TL:DR Its aiight, perfect for when you are hangry.

Excellent place to stop in for lunch. There are admittedly not many places to choose from in the neighborhood, but even if there were, I would still come to the Signature Café. The sandwich/wrap selection is fantastic, the salads are humongous, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Across the board there are a lot of options. The drink selection is expansive, from soda, a variety of ginger beers, homemade lemonade/tea all the way to kombucha and fresh juice/smoothies. Frances, who works the register is a very kind person, and also a very efficient worker. The chefs are always smiling, while putting together some fantastic eats. The hours here are very limited, so plan accordingly. There is a lovely patio with outdoor seating at several picnic tables. Overall a great lunch spot that I will continue to frequent.

Not good at executing orders. Any time you place an order that’s for more than one person they completely mess up something. Have tried to order my staff lunch from here multiple time and literally ever time they’ve got something wrong or forgotten part of the order entirely. Even with their order online option, still had to wait 40 min for a forgotten sandwich and came back to the office with cold soggy food for everyone else.

1 star for being open early when within walking distance of my workplace. 1 star for friendly staff. however, thats just about it, I’ve yet to come here and get exactly what I ordered or have my expectations blown away by any semblance of quality.

I really love this place. The food and service never disappoints me. I always grab and go and the wait time to receive my food doesn’t take longer than 15 mins. The salads are delicious and a great portion for the price.

Date of service: Oct 16, 2014 Meal: Lunch, Eat in All Ratings out of 10: Quality of food: 7 Food to Spend Value: 6 Quality of Service: 6 Overall Rating: 7(but on lower end, so will round down to 3 on a 5-point scale) Sometimes you just want a sandwich for lunch. I found myself in Culver City and needed something for lunch, and the Signature Café was close by. It came recommended by a few colleagues of mine, so I figured I would give it a go. The Signature Café has a good sized menu consisting of both cold and hot sandwiches, salads, and burgers, and they have a pretty nice looking breakfast menu if you are there early enough. I decided to get a southwest chicken panini with pasta salad as my side. The panini had a great flavor, with crispy bread, juicy chicken, and great sauce, and I loved the roasted peppers on it. The balance of flavors was quite good. It wasn’t a huge sandwich, but it was a decent size. The pasta salad on the side was also quite tasty, and they even included a pickle. The place is pretty casual and definitely has a SoCal feel to it, including outdoor seating where you seat yourself. Drinks are purchased a la carte by the can or bottle, and they have a pretty interesting selection to choose from. The portions are not huge, but they are definitely reasonable, though you will likely not be stuffed. Overall it was a tasty lunch, and I would definitely visit it again if in the area around lunch time.

The price for food here is great! I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon and it was great. Most breakfast burritos have a lot of grease in them but the ones served here are a lot better and have a homemade taste to it. Friendly staff with great customer service! Looking forward to coming back here to try the burgers.

I ordered the chicken salad sandwich from here to go. I ordered it on a wheat roll which was absolutely amazing! The chicken salad however lacked some flavor. I tasted more boiled chicken with mayo caked on rather than the chipotle flavors I was expecting from the sandwich. The side salad was nice — had some carrots, tomatoes and cucumbers to add a little texture. I tried the mint ice tea here. Expecting some sweetness or punch to it, it was literally mint and tea. I’d pass on it in the future — nothing phenomenal to rave about. Overall my favorite item at this place is still the Southwest Chicken salad — be sure to try it! Everything else just doesn’t compare.

Let me preface this by saying the food here is very good — it’s a healthy alternative to a lot of the junk that’s in the area; that is not to say that it can be hit or miss. There have been some times that salads will have wilted lettuce. I’m using this as an avenue to complain about the SERVICE. First of all, a few weeks ago, I placed an order for my company for a staff lunch. When I called at 11:30a, they said it would be ready for pick up by 12:30p. Great — when we went to pick it up, we were told the chef was out sick and the order couldn’t be placed. Why they didn’t call or tell us this when the order was placed is BEYONDME. Today, a similar incident. We called at 12p to place an order. The person who we called hung up on us, mid-order. Upon calling a second time, we finished the order, and were told the food would be ready by 1p. We arrived at 1:15p and were told the food wouldn’t be ready until 1:30p(no apologies). Finally, we were given the food at 1:45p. One order was messed up. Unacceptable. We reviewed the order 3x over the phone and yet they failed to bring the food out on time. Additionally, when I have gone in, the staff has been particularly aloof and it’s a little disconcerting. BEWARYABOUTDOINGGROUPLUNCHESHERE.

I mean… I’ve had worse. What a way to start a review, right? It was food, so there’s that. It was a caffeinated beverage so… Sure, I ordered deliver, but 10 minutes late when you’re just down the street? So 70 minutes to get my coffee(ended up cold) and sandwich(got here soggy) was just a let down. The sandwich might have been okay if it had gotten here in a timely manner. I don’t think there was any salvaging the«mocha». It tasted like old coffee with a bit of Hershey syrup. If I were stuck with only them and Taco Bell as my options, I’d choose Signature Café. That ain’t sayin’ much.

This review is strictly for the cappuccino. I went there this morning because my favorite coffee place was closed, and I saw they had an espresso machine. So I ordered a cappuccino. When I got back to the office I took my first sip. It tastes like coffee with foam on top. And not even good coffee. It tastes like folgers or something. Really really bad. And I paid like $ 3.50 for it. Not only that but I also bought one for my co-worker. So I actually paid $ 7.00 and I was apologizing for how terrible it was. I haven’t been this disappointed in a long time. I feel like a lost tourist in Europe that just got taken advantage of.

It’s been 2 years so I decided to give this place a try again because I really wanted a salad. The staff is trying really hard to hustle behind the counter. In the end I received my salad in 15 minutes, so it’s still slow but at least they seem to care this time around. … However here I am once with a chinese chicken salad with no mandarin oranges. So it still looks like their orders are still coming out janky. So beware. The upside to all of this is that they carry my favorite drink, Bundaberg Ginger Beer, so they have that going for them.
