How come I’ve never reviewed this place before? We used to come here often for steaks and mainly for their hamachi shots… ok and their cotton candy! Service here for the most part is great! We’ve had some not so good services but the 5+ more great services out weights the 1 and 2. They have a good combination of land and sea choices with a hint of Japanese, which brings me to their yummy caesar salad. It comes with 4 – 5 whole romaine lettuce leaves that are stacked and topped with a parmesan crisp, a 63 degree egg, and furikake and bit of parmesan shavings. I love it and always get it each time. The hamachi shots are also a must get when you are here. This 12+ ingredients in this little shot glass that comes together so fresh tasting in your mouth. Oh goodness. I want one right now! We normally order our own portions of it instead of sharing it. It’s really hard to share it. When we are ordering steaks they get it cooked the way we want it each time. On one of our visits we had the opportunity to have dinner at the chef’s table which is located inside the kitchen. We were able to cook our own scallop for our appetizers which was fun. We enjoyed being in the kitchen being able to wear our own chef’s coat and be able to tour the kitchen and how they serve and operate the kitchen. If you’re ever in the area or need a place to go to celebrate anything, this is one of your options. Tip: Don’t get full from their complimentary bread service…

Hesitate to give a 4 because the split bone rib eye felt like a way worse deal than the filet tips — at almost 4x the cost. The prime rib was no slouch but it wasn’t living up to the reputation of the restaurant not was it priced reasonably. The truffle fries were pretty good but I didn’t feel they were out of the ordinary. Overall a pretty good meal, but when paying these prices(and seeing. Michelin stars on the wall) you expect quite a bit more. N.B. Saved the cotton candy for my kids since I try to avoid refined sugar … so I can’t speak to the quality of that nice little perk.

Justin is the head mixologist, and percolates some great barrel aged cocktails($ 17): 4.5÷5: Vieux Carre: Michters Rye, Camus VSOP, Cocchi torino, angostura, pychauds. Very savory and well aged. Goes great with steak. 4⁄5: New Fashion: Buffalo Trace, barenjager, house-made bitters. It has an interesting citrus-forward profile.

Even before getting into the restaurant it was a bad experience — they have parking in front of the restaurant(10-feet from the door), half of it was full of those orange cones that prevent you from parking as they were«valet parking» spots. Really??? It is in front of the restaurant, half of it is empty and you actually make me walk 500 feet from another parking area? Anyway, the appetizers were just great. We had crab popcorn which was really great, the scallops were perfectly made and had a great whipped sauce that came with it. But when it came to the steaks, reminding you this is a steakhouse, it was just outrageous. The prime rib came out cooked as we ordered it, yet it had a grayish color outside as if it just sat there under a heating lamp or something just waiting for someone to pick it up. It was not seared(I’m not sure prime ribs are supposed to be seared, anyhow). The prime rib was nothing like the melt-in-your-mouth meat that I can get in similar over-priced restaurants, and was nothing over an ok piece of meet. The New York Strip’s presentation was great, perfectly seared on both sides and cut in a way that you can see that it was done the way we wanted. Unfortunately, the meat was quite hard to chew on, and while very tasty, it is not the Strip you can get in other places similarly priced.

Been on my foodie bucket list to come eat here. Finally had the chance and I took my parents out for a fancy family dinner. It was pretty to make reservations, but they are a little strict on the time. We arrived half an hour early and they wouldn’t seat us until at least 10 minutes early. So we sat around the bar area until our table was«ready». Our waitress was very nice and down to earth — ever going to one of those $$$ places and the waiter just has an air about them? Most entertaining is when they bring out our food. It takes a whole army to serve us. Loved it. The plating was lovely too. We tried their New York steak, the prime rib, and the filet mignon. My favorite was the prime rib, which I highly recommend getting if you’re not doing omakase. Also suggest getting their truffle mac and cheese. Delish! Their desserts were on point too. Yum~ Definitely an amazing meal here.

Our journey started with a delightful dish of mini sweet papers field with cheese. It was followed by a cheese plate with a variety of unique brads I could only describe as phenomenal. For the main course we had a filet minion and aged bone in ribeye steaks with variety of side dishes such as mushrooms, mash potatoes, creamed spinach and green beans. All sides were absolutely delicious. Here comes the disappointment the steaks were not cooked as requested! I ordered a medium ribeye yet what I got was on the well done side. We were six people and only two of us got their steaks cooked to the level requested. Isn’t that the main deal in a steakhouse to be able to cook a steak to the requested level? I most definitely did not expect to be served a well done steak in here. The server said he’s so very sorry and asked if we would like to redo our steaks and get new dishes to the kitchen however since he also explained it’s going to take about 30 minutes we gave up and chewed on what we’ve been served. The meat was good quality but the well done issue was s major disappointment! Huge one. We ordered all the desserts on the menu. Each plate presentation was a masterpiece. The desserts themselves are so very good! In summary excellent appetizers and desserts, good service, skip the main course… Alexander can be a great restaurant with great service and above normal steaks, but they must learn to cook their steaks right first! for what we git in that price… only three stars.

I paid for a dinner experience and it was full blown, unimaginable umani in my mouth the entire time. It was a special dinner for my SO for his special birthday and I needed to top the dinner from the year before– so I did some research. There’s hardly anymore restaurants in the Bay Area(and nearby) that serves dry aged meat, and Alexander’s one was of the last ones that do. I had to ask around to compare the two locations: SF and Cupertino to see which one offered the better overall dining experience. After reading reviews and asking friends, I opted for Cupertino. Reservations on Open Table and we arrived about an hour early(thinking there was traffic). The parking lot is small and valet takes up majority of it. But don’t worry because you can park right up the bend where the ice rink is, plenty of parking and a stairway that leads you right back down to the restaurant. It’s somewhat dark in that area, but it felt safe. We took a seat at the bar, where it was super festive with people hanging out with their friends. There’s a huge selection of speciality cocktails they serve here, seperate by type of alcohol. I had the 1 – 2 Punch(16) it packed a punch, and was really tangy. Their house Moscow mule(15) was refreshing and gingery. They were able to get your table early, so our hostess kindly carried out drinks over for us and the bill just carried over to our table. We were seating in a quiet corner of the restaurant, as requested and we got a great server who initiated our entire experience at Alexander’s, Brandon. We let him know that it was a special night, as well as our first time at Alexander’s. He went above and beyond to explain everything to us and allowed us to marinate the menu while we decided. Funny thing, we don’t often find ourselves at high end restaurants, so when Brandon asked if we wanted sparking water, the SO was quick to jump YES, knowing he has selective hearing and only heard the word water. I punched him in the arm and was like that’s a $ 10 bottle of water you’re making me pay for, and we don’t even like sparkling.(Of course, I just ordered more alcohol to wash the taste away, haha). So be aware, you can just ask for tap water. We started off with a hamachi shot(4), and SO said it was wonderful the flavors blended so well together and it went down smooth. Definitely something new to try, it’s a fun appetizer. The Roasted Bone Marrow(18) and the sliders(40) were also added to our bill as appetizers. The bone marrow was so rich and warm, the marrow thick as ever and unagi was a good touch. For me, it was too much richness and the sauce made it too heavy to eat but SO loved it. The sliders were waygu and absolutely the BEST! Buttery and melting in your mouth, you can fit the whole thing in your mouth. We wanted to be «frugal» so instead of the waygu steaks, we opted for the slides! The dining experience was spectacular. The staff asks for your permission and then proceeds to explain what you’re eating to you. How awesome is that? You don’t have to look like a fool trying to guess what you’re having and if you got questions, they come equipped with answers. Talk about an all inclusive dining experience + knowledge. We had the dry aged New York(62) medium rare and the dry aged T-Bone(62) medium rare. The cuts were perfect. That cook and char was just as perfect. Thick in cut and juicy on the inside, I could barely finish. It wasn’t aged so long that all you could taste of that meat funk, but rather, the natural sweetness of the beef itself. We also added a King Crab(35) side to one of our steak orders. It’s not dungeness crab, but it had that right sweetness and tenderness of king crab meat you would imagine. As for sides, lobster mac and cheese(18), wild mushrooms(14), and truffle fries(12). Though they look like tiny portions, something about the flavors in each individual dish could be experienced through just one bite. We had a lot of leftovers! To polish the night off, we had a café latte and cappuccino, both frothed to perfection, as I don’t normally get caffeine after a steak dinner. They were sweet to surprise my SO with a slice of cake! We also had the traditional sweets offered at Alexander’s after the damage: cotton candy! Surpriningly the bill was less of a damage to my wallet than expected, but it was well worth the money and the experience. I want to thank all the staff, and Brandon for such an amazing night that will surely be remembered.

This was a perfect meal for a celebratory dinner to ring in the holidays. We were able to get a reservation for Monday night at 6pm on the week of Christmas, and I was honestly really surprised they had availability on only 2 day’s notice. There is ample parking at this Cupertino location in the lot and in surrounding mall parking lots. By the time I’d walked through the first set of doors and was greeted by the hostess, my mouth was already watering after seeing the display of steak cuts in the entry. The overall décor is a bit stuffy and old fashioned, but to my delight, despite housing room after room of hungry parties, the noise level was really kept at a minimum. As we were guided to our roomy well lit(yay for optimal food pic setting!) booth, we passed part of the kitchen where the steak was being prepared and the smell of tender marinated meats wafted out from. The freshly baked bread basket was delivered immediately, and our table devoured all 4 types of the bread quickly before they brought us another basket. The service overall was great as expected; all of the staff was knowledgable and patient and cleaned up after our bread crumbs. The wait staff at other really fancy restaurants can sometimes be stifling or a bit over the top, but I did not feel that here. For appetizers, we ordered the Onigara King crab legs, a half dozen oysters, the tuna tar tar, truffle fries, and string beans. Everything was amazing as expected, 5⁄5. I don’t need to describe this anymore extensively, it was all great, flavorful, rich, and subtle at the same time. For our entrees, we ordered the 20oz dry aged t-bone(New York strip and fillet mignon), one 14oz and one 20oz prime rib cooked medium rare, and an 8oz filet mignon. Everyone in my party was super stuffed and really satisfied with their steaks. I opted for the t-bone, but next time I’d spring for the filet mignon which is more tender overall, and still filling despite a smaller portion. For dessert, complements of the house, we had banana bonanza flavored cotton candy, shortbread, pecans, and candied tree bark. I’d elaborate more, but everyone else has done so in their reviews, so I’m just agreeing wholeheartedly. Would I come back? Absolutely! Well deserved Michelin star quality food and service. I’ve heard their lunch menu is substantially more affordable, so I’ll probably be back more often for lunch than dinner.

We went here for my birthday all dressed to the nines for a special dinner. I was a little annoyed there was no parking so we had to valet it for a small fee. Sigh. I knew the cost of the dinner was not cheap so was disappointed I had to pay for parking. Oh well. It didn’t take long for us to be seated but we also a reservations weeks in advance. The waiters were prompt and orderly rotating around with the foods and refilling our water. Top notch service. Appetizer like the hamachi shots and the rolls was pretty good. Nothing to write home about. The classy colorful palate cleansers were a nice treat. The steak was so good. Just the best steak I’ve ever had. We were too full to eat the cotton candy at the end. Overall I liked the place a lot but it was a little more hyped than it was tested out at. I would probably come again for the steak and try different appetizers our next birthday.

Impeccable service and steaks. I was able to try a few steaks this time. The Japanese wagyu Okinawa F4 was unforgettable! Melt in your mouth and a truffle flavor to it. The filet mignon was tender and delicious as well. The split bone ribeye and F1 Australian strip steak wagyu were a bit tougher but the flavor was really good. The hamachi shots were good as before. I like how they changed the amuse bouche, palate cleansers, and desserts since the last time I was here. No cotton candy at the end this time… wonder why???

I haven’t written a review yet?! Such shame! Hubs & I came here on our third anniversary to celebrate despite my coming down with a cold. Parking was a breeze. I’d definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. Upon arrival, we were checked & seated within 5 minutes. We had a great waiter that walked us through everything as it was our first time there. We both ended up getting the wagyu for the main course. We also ordered the hamachi shots which were amazing! The purée strawberry soup was also absolutely delicious & quite refreshing. We finished off with the souflé & a complimentary chocolate cake to celebrate. I didn’t know but you also get cotton candy at the end, quite the sweet finish! Nothing was amiss in this place. Service, food, ambiance, you got it all. We’ll definitely be back… especially for the hamachi shots!

This is a casual, high quality steakhouse. I came here for a dinner with colleagues. We were promptly seated by our waiter. The drinks were delicious, and the waiter suggested the wine. I had a Kobe beef that melted in my mouth. The lobster mac and cheese was a hit. We told the waiter we were celebrating«Kicking A.» At the end of the evening, he brought is a small plate of desserts congratulating us, very thoughtful. An awesome experience from start to finish. Great food, wine, cocktails, and superb service!

Let me start off with a little background about myself that is relevant to my rating of steak houses. I do not believe I will ever have a fair view of any steak house, no matter how expensive or no matter how amazing. This is because I think I may have been a little spoiled in my life with a dad who cooks amazing and so there are a few things that I cannot eat outside of home simply because they do not compare to home! And one of those things is steak. So I will say that the steak I had here was definitely a fine cut, juicy, and good, but it was just okay to me and I personally would not get it, having said my little tidbit about my myself. So to be fair to Alexander’s, I will also say that many of my friends enjoyed the steak here greatly though! Service was great of course. Sometimes at other places, they will look at my friends and I and not treat us as great because they think we’re a group of youngins trying to eat at an expensive restaurant, who will order the cheapest things on the menu, but here they treated us no different than anyone else! Their bread is amazing, like, I did not want to be THAT girl who spends the entire dinner eating bread, but geez it was good. In between courses, they give you various items to cleanse your pallet, so you have a fair tasting of whatever you’re about to eat next and you’re not eating each meal with a taste of your last. I ordered the lobster bisque this night and it was a lot lot sweeter than I expected and it was very, very lukewarm which was also unexpected. Highlights of the meals were the popcorn crab appetizer and the lobster mac n cheese! Mhmm! I’ve also heard good things about their yukon mashed potatoes, so I look forward to trying it out! At the end, they give you cotton candy and I thought it was a perfect touch to the end of a great meal.

A great Lunch place to go to celebrate mundanity or a special occasion! Steak isn’t a mandatory foodstuff that will necessarily get you to shell out $ 500.oo+ on Kobe Beef a la Santana Row™. == TL;DR == Service was stellar both times(12÷9÷15 Dining Room Lunch and 12÷12÷15 Bar/Lounge Dessert). 12/9’s Orange Cotton Candy was dee-lish but 12/12’s Banana Cotton Candy? To enter into a [food] coma for!!! Food being food, their 19+ oz. cuts of lunch meat are certainly shareable. ====== Called them up around 1:30PM to officially verify their Lunch Time ends at 2:00PM but if you’re in by then, you can stay. Made a reservation for 1:45PM and was asked if I was celebrating anything. I gave them my perfunctory answer and my bestie and I were on our way! «Why you no OpenTable™?» (Because 30 minutes til closing…) I expected to pay thru the nose(i.e., a Unilocal™ $$$$ rating ain’t no cheap-ass rodeo) but maybe lunchtime falls under different auspices… We arrive and are seated immediately in a half full dining room(yayyy…). Liliana, our Lady-in-Waiting inevitably(?) asks if we’re celebrating anything and so I repeated my perfunctory answer previously pitched per phone prior to parking: single-handedly surviving a no-injury multi-vehicle accident resulting in the unexpected death of my baby 2010 Toyota™ Corolla®. Professionally unfazed(mostly), she matter-of-factly said she would take good care of us and she did! NOTE: No children or passengers were harmed(or involved) in the creation of this accident… (Review to be cont’d)

Came here Sunday night to grab a few snacks/drinks at the bar and it was the highlight of my week! Bar was empty so we were served immediately by Justin and Nathan. What we ordered: «THEORIGINAL» HAMACHISHOT — Ordered these the last time I dined in, and once again these did not disappoint. Wish there was an easier way to eat these without looking like I’m taking a BJ shot… but the taste is worth the awkwardness. BIGEYETUNATARTARE — Very light and flavorful. I liked how the cucumbers were cut into little balls. Texture was an added bonus. POPCORNCRAB — Not a huge fan on fried food, but these were not oily ATALL! Also they REALLLYY don’t skimp out on the crab meat. The sriracha aioli was NOMNOMNOM! KUMAMOTOOYSTERS x2 — My favorite oysters of all time. Highly recommend even for you oyster haters. No fishiness at all :) Service is impeccable here. Justin, the bar manager, and Nathan were extremely personable and made our experience that much better! Definitely coming back to visit them again! I would highly recommend sitting at the bar as it is a bit more laidback than the dining area and they serve the full menu! No reservations needed :)

Let’s face it, I definitely cannot be a vegetarian, a vegan, anything of that sorts — might as well call me a carnivore(with the occasional force-feeding of vegetables). I mean, who would be, after tasting amaaaazinggg food at Alexanders. I came here for a birthday dinner over summer and was able to let my taste buds pretty much die and go to umami heaven. –BREAD: They had a lovely assortment of breads for you to eat while you waited for your food to come out. Out of all of them, I liked the soft roasted garlic popovers and the crispy+salty parmesan crisps. The butter provided was soft and was easily spreadable –HAMACHISHOTS: It comes in 6 little cute glasses atop this salt plate(yeah i tried the salt crystal… LOL). SO. FREAKING. GOOD. it was kept cold and fresh. As you spoon this sweet and tangy concoction down your throat, you cant help taste the hints of wasabi, ginger, and ponzu –AMUSEBOUCHE: the palate cleansers they gave us were so delicate, i almost felt bad for shoving it all in my mouth so fast. The first one was a watermelon sphere with a small basil leaf. Second was a coconut sphere, an even smaller mango lychee sphere, and a few peach pearls –WAGYUBEEF: I got the Kagoshima wagyu, which included a big grilled shrimp, a spattering of mushrooms, all complete with a drizzle of a mix of sesame and chili sauce. ANDOH. MY. GOD.(think Janice from Friends). I have neverrrr had beef this delicious before. SERIOUSLY, you know how grade A sashimi is supposed to melt your mouth like butter? THISISBASICALLYTHAT. but like 100x better. –DESSERT: We got two, which were both plated so beautifully, i didnt wanna eat it. One was called Textures, that had a yummy and sweet mix of pastry, chocolate, and caramel. The other one, i dont remember the name, but airy and had a lemony tangy taste with a drizzle of caramel sauce. At the end, they gave us petit fours, which included chocolate bark, fruity gummy and a type of cookie. THey also packed our cotton candy to go. The service provided for us was impeccable! The staff was knowledgeable with the menu items, as well as helped us with any problems that arose. They recommended us a wonderful wine that paired nicely with our dinner. They swept away any crumbs on our table before we set down any new dishes in front of us. Overall, hellll yeah i would come back! I mean, when it’s a special occasion and MAYBEEE more often when and if i’m ever swimming in money

It’s super easy to make lunch reservations using OpenTable right before hopping into the car and heading over. Way better than having to wait for a table, like the party of four and two who arrived at the restaurant ahead of us, but without rezzies. I really liked the Ecopia Farms Baby Greens with Yuzu-sweet chili dressing, sliced radish and cucumber and topped with lotus chips. The dark green and purple baby greens were crisp and slightly bitter, served whole and lightly dressed. The salad is definitely not meal-sized, so if you’re pretty hungry, plan on ordering an entrée or a second appetizer to make up a meal. The big eye tuna tartare was mixed with minced ginger, scallions, pine nuts, petite herbs, avocado espuma and soy-mustard. This was okay, but I wouldn’t order it again. The hamachi sashimi shots were pretty tasty. This might be one of their most popular appetizers. Jalapeño and ginger gives it a nice kick. Avocado provides a creamy mouthfeel. Truffled Ponzu adds a touch of umami. Black sesame seeds for contrast. Awesome. The wild king salmon was cooked medium rare and served with Brentwood corn pudding, miso-yuzu glaze, sautéed chanterelles and deep-fried battered squash blossoms. Tasted super fresh and clean. If you are a fan of that corn pudding blob from Chevy’s, Alexander’s version is the fancy version that might just blow your mind. Super smooth and corn-sweet…I don’t even want to know how much butter is used to make this. The chanterelles balanced the sweetness of the corn pudding and tasted great with the salmon. Pass on the squash blossoms. Fancy foodie-fare, but I’m not into it. The flavor of squash blossoms was overwhelmed by the taste of frying oil. It wasn’t even crispy. Wagyu Hanger Steak with garlic confit, pickled red onions, Sausalito watercress, red wine demi-glacé. Flavorful, tender and juicy steak. Good stuff. Truffled French Fries. People either love or hate truffled food. I’m not a fan of the sharp stinky smell, but it tastes so good, especially with the garlicky aioli sauce! The crispy piping hot fries are served in a paper cone in a metal stand. Overall, an awesome place if you’re looking for something nicer.

Came back here after 3 years and it just wasn’t as good as it used to be. For the price tag, I really expected way more. Amuse bouche was a fried arborio rice ball(like a risotto) with tomato fish sauce. It was okay, although a little on the heavy/oil side for an amuse bouche. Also, it was warm, which made having our cold appetizer after that a little weird. Hamachi shot was probably the best order of the night. Seared foie gras came on a bed of funnel cake, which was a really bad pairing because the funnel cake became really soggy from the foie gras fat/oil. Also, the funnel cake itself is pretty oily and paired with the super rich/fatty foie gras, it was just way too much. Disappointing :(The crème fraîche with the foie though, was yum. Lobster pumpkin bisque was okay. I felt that it didnt really work because the strong sweetness of the pumpkin ended up masking the fragrance of the lobster bisque. It ended up being more like a pumpkin soup with lobster chunks in it than a true lobster bisque :( We had a trio sampler of 3 steaks — aged angus beef, australian f1, and japanese a5. The japanese a5 was definitely the best, although the slice was cut too thick. The amount of fat in an a5 steak is so rich that thick slices simply didnt work. I did like the mushroom ragout and creamed spinach at the bottom of the plate though. The sampler also came with grilled shrimps. However, only 1 out of the 3 shrimps was fresh. Considering that my boyfriend and I had our first date here, it was definitely a super disappointing experience to be back here :(No wonder they lost their Michelin star.

My boyfriend and I went here for a late Valentine’s Day date and also our first time here. The bartender was friendly and told us we came on a great night because we missed the Valentine’s Day rush. The service throughout the nice was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious, well worth your money. My boyfriend got the dry aged porterhouse with fois gras and I got the dry aged bone-in new york. We ordered the scallops appetizer and truffle mac and cheese as well. I think the waiters could speak slowly when they are describing the dishes as they bring them out, though. One of the best things my boyfriend liked was the surprise(for us, being that it was our first time) cotton candy at the end of the meal. Will definitely come back.

For a special occasion, this hits the spot. Great service and great food — you really can’t ask for more. A few highlights: — Tuna tartare appetizer: such fresh tuna, melt in your mouth and well marinated. Not to mention that it was such a large portion for being a fancy place — Sea bass: believe it was the special of the day, cooked in a light broth — not too salty, not oily at all — Strawberry soufflé: so yummy, warm and fresh out of the oven with a vanilla crème sauce drizzled into the center when they served it. The green tea macarons were also so tasty, even though I usually hate macarons. One of the great things was the amuses between meals — so very refreshing and delicate. I love the attention to detail at Alexander’s — from the half cut blackberries, to the complimentary happy anniversary chocolate dessert with delicious moscato. Would definitely come back — no doubt about it. The Sea by Alexander’s is also super fantastic, though this location is a bit bigger and feels a little more romantic(dimly lit) and spacious. Tip: — Parking lot is small, there’s a valet for $ 10 — but otherwise just park across the street :) — Book through opentable for extra points!

My cousin and I went back to make up for the not so satisfied experience we had years ago. This time, we went for the Kobe. Driving into the lot, it’s the typical scene, you have the valet guys waiting out front with a smile, and all of the exotic cars parked next to the entrance. Walking in you are greeted with friendly staff and a big window displaying carnivorous chunks of premium beef. We got smart, we called ahead and reserved a booth at the end so that we’re not seated so close to other tables. Our table was big, and comfortable. They have an extensive wine menu. Pages and pages of wine selection. The amazing sommelier, Max recommended two very good bottles of red wine: Burgundy and Pino Noir. Can’t thank him enough for his expertise and friendliness. We enjoyed both so much. Now on to the food! Appetizers: Onigara King Crab Leg: Dynamite Glaze/Tobanjan Butter/Cucumber/Arare — Do they use magic on these crabs? I’ve eaten enough crabs in my life to fill the Pacific ocean, but the meat on this was something I’ve never tasted. It was buttery and so fresh. It melts in your mouth, and the flavor was absolutely amazeballs. Truffle Risotto: Not on the menu, it was their special, came ith 5oz truffle slices — So this blew me out of the water. Never have I tasted something so heavenly. If I had to eat one dish for the rest of my life, this would definitely be my second choice. Sorry, cow meat will always be my first choice. I’m sure this was up there in $$$$ but if they offer this on their specials list… take it! Definitely worth it. Wagyu: Westholme F1 Tomahawk, Australia: added foie gras — This was my cousins dish. I took a sample and the meat was so tender. Definitely worth it. However the presentation was kind of disappointing. The chef cut the meat in half after cooking and stacks it on the plate for presentation. I feel that a steak like this should be kept uncut. Hyogo, Kobe Japan A5: added foie gras — My dish. Came with lobster risotto with aged balsamic and aromatic basil oil. The meat was seriously melting in my mouth. The quality of this was up there. However, just like the Tomahawk, this was presented in cut pieces. Fois gras was amazing(even though I felt guilty for eating it). Sides: Rainbow Cauliflower — Meh, it’s just your typical roasted veggie with chiles, nothing special but still good. Dessert: CRÈMEBRÛLÉE — Our super amazing server caramelized the sugar tableside!!! It was awesome! Coffee for me and green tea for the cousin along with the standard pink fluff of cotton candy. As previous, stellar service and wonderful experience Big thanks to Brian L!!!

Ce restaurant est juste fantastique ! Le repas est excellent, le service est remarquable, le personnel est très agréable ! Que du bon pour le déjeuner, de plus le midi il n’y a pas beaucoup de monde. Came here 4 times, and what I can confirm are as follow: — drinks are very good — appetizers are very good — dessert and candy floss are very good — service attitudes are excellent But… The steaks are horrible unless you get either filet mignon or wagyu. If you are here for other steaks, do it by yourself at home, will be tastier and much cheaper. Actually even the filet mignon, if you know how to oven and grill then I’d also suggest you DIY at home.
