Who woulda thought you could find a «Cheers«type bar in the middle of a whole foods grocery store? The Brew Hub is fantastic. Max twelve seats at the bar with a great set up of rotating beers on tap. You can also buy beer or wine in the market and bring it in. After you’ve come in a few times bar staff Dennis and Sam always remember your name. They are always happy to strike up a conversation with you and give helpful suggestions to what’s on tap. You either have great tunes playing or a giants game or something on. Dennis and Sam create a warm and inviting bar atmosphere that is not easy to find in not so sociable Cupertino. As a result you end up striking up a conversation with your fellow brew hub patrons. Any time I’ve come in I end up talking to someone next to me(techie, artist, doctor, teacher, mechanic, de anza student, music lover recent transplant to Bay Area, etc. This is a great place to stop in on your own for one or two. Very sociable, kind. And welcoming place. You may forget your in whole foods or not. Personally I’m really thankful that whole foods brought this brew hub to cupertino. I know they have other brew hubs ie Potrero hill but San Francisco also has a lot of great bars which cupertino definitely does not. Thanks again to Sam and Dennis for the hospitality and great service. Also the food is great and the staff run back and forth to bring you fresh great food and at the same serve customers in the market. Also they have a happy hour and rotating food specials. One more thing… tip the bar staff cash they deserve it!!!

What an awesome addition to Whole Foods?! They always have a fantastic selection of beers on tap at reasonable prices, plus you can bring in food from the store! Bartenders are friendly and knowledgable, and certainly add to the fun. There’s a bar food menu available as well — haven’t tried any yet, but looks like all the staples are offered(burgers, nachos, etc.)

Brew Hub is really special. It’s got beer, burgers and fries in Whole Foods. On Tuesday there are food trucks outside, you can grocery shop, there is no corkage fee for whole foods purchases and the burger is good. My hubby and I selected this place to view our Warriors game. It happened to be a Tuesday, so we arrived to a parking lot full of food trucks! More food options! I enjoyed being able to grocery shop while my hubby watched the beginning of the game and then joining him towards the end of the game when things got really exciting. We actually did not end up drinking any beer on this occasion but we did learn that you can bring bottles from whole foods into brew hub without paying a corkage fee. Major bonus! My husbands burger was also much better than the food I brought in from the hot bar. We will be back here for other games!

I waver between 3 – 4 stars for this place because of the pricing, tap selections, and standards. $ 7 for my London Porter is a bit on the steeper side, but it’s Whole Foods… so I smiled and said OK. The biggest bummer was that there was only ONE dark beer in their rotation the day I visited in late May! WHAT?! All my dark beer luvahs collectively sigh with me. They seemed to have lots of lagers and ales, which is good I guess. BUT what about them stouts and nitro-brewed dark porters? There was only one taptender working that Friday night when my friends and I decided to sit in their patio after grabbing some«serve yourself» boxed meals in the WF cafeteria. The vibes here are ultra casual – it’s not a total bar because it’s inside WF and everyone is doing their grocery shopping, which makes it the perfect place to daydrink! They also have happy hour from 5−7PM on weekdays, but I didn’t get anything from their food menu. Why, when you can have a boxed portion’d meal for under $ 10? In all, I’d say this is a bit pricey and sad in tap selections. However, I love the convenience of food choices inside WF in general, and the great dining space they have at Brew Pub(the patio is my go-to spot)!

I am a regular to the new whole foods in SJ and Cupertino, especially the Mission Creek Brewery at the Alameda Whole Foods. I have nothing but great things to say about that place. Today I drove over to Cupertino to checkout the off the grid food trucks and the brew hub for the first time. I walked up to bat and received the most passive aggressive and abrasive service ever. I was asked what I like to order and opted to do a flight od beers. The female bartender with dirty long blonde hair was less than inviting and did not inspire any sort of comfort. She was rude and unpersonable and just glared at me as I was deciding which beers to sample. I couldn’t get a good look at the selection and she didn’t bother to tell me which beers are on tap just stare blankly with a rude girl expression on her face. This girl needs to learn people skills. Whole foods needs to hire more personable brew hub staff. Disappointed in the lack of enthusiasm and pretentious demeanor this girl had. Sticking to Alameda/San Jose where they are much more freindly and eager to help.

Got some decent beers, barley wines, IPAs, sours. Call to see what they have on tap that day! Wasn’t too much a fan of the customer service. At first the bartender seemed like he could care less about us, then an hour later he became all smiles. It was a complete 180, but maybe he was having a bad day. They’re alright at recommending beers, they seem to prefer those who already know what they like or want. I always like asking for recs, and it seemed so forced for them to provide a rec based on my preferences. Food was decent. Smoked pork sandwich with a side of delicious bourbon BBQ sauce and coleslaw, overall mediocre. Chicken nachos def tasted healthy, cilantro and guac were a plus. Small bites, daily burgers available. Limited seating, bar counter style. TV available to watch games. A red and white wine on tap, with other bottled wine selections. Sake selections, a shot for your beer! HH5−7pm on drinks only, not on food. Beer and wine flights, great deals. Can buy alcohol from store and bring here to drink, rad.

This place is just grand, and I am becoming a regular and LOVE it! Nestled inside the gigantic Whole Foods Cupertino is this wonderful bar with a variety of beers on tap that you will NOT find in your local watering hole, which I love. Talk about a fantastic selection of craft beers! Not only are the beers great you can also get wine if that is more up your alley. Unsure what beer you want, try a flight! Hungry for some delicious food prepared by Whole Foods? Order at the bar and grab a bite while you sit and watch the game or chat with friends, or better yet, the super nice bar tenders! The prices are ONPOINT! The place is CLEAN! The staff is SUPERNICE! The food is GREAT! Do you see where I am going with this? Definitely love this place!

I’m a fan of the Whole Foods Brew Hubs because the beer prices are reasonably priced and they have a decent selection of food that goes with the beer. Also the rest of the Whole Foods deli and store is at your disposal for whatever you wish to eat. I think for this location, the bar itself is closed off a bit because the only people that can see the televisions are the people sitting at the bar. Just like other bars, the Brew Hubs do have special promotional events with breweries so I don’t have to worry about fighting crowds at other specialty brewpubs and their crazy crowds.

I want to give this place more stars. It just feels so blah. The bar itself feels like its inside the store and the eating /drinking area feels way too open. I’m giving it two stars because the people at this whole foods have been relatively nice lately and they have good beer here. Suggestions: Put up a wall or wall-ish kind of think to make it feel more comfortable to say awhile. Fix the dining area… It feels like I’m eating in the middle of a corporate dining facility. Have the bar be a U shaped bar so you can serve both the bar folks and people at the tables. Pretty common bar science here Whole Foods. Things you’re doing right: Love this store. Workers attitudes are improving. Beer selection is good. Overall vibe is the best at this location for a good shopping experience.

Brew Hub inside of the Cupertino Whole Foods is a great spot to grab a craft beer or glass of wine while shopping. Or in my case, waiting for someone else who is shopping. There are about 20 beers on tap and Brew Hub offers beer flights. 4 small pours are $ 12. It’s a great way to explore the new items on tap. Brew Hub also offers wine by the glass, but I wasn’t super-impressed with the selection, I think this is more of a beer spot. As others have said, the food is made by the Whole Foods kitchen and delivered to the bar. Pizza, nachos, burgers and the like are all available. The food is made from natural ingredients and very tasty.

Great: beer, happy hour, bar food, atmosphere, and customer service. I’m so sad that the Brew Hub(BH) wasn’t around when I went to De Anza College… The beer and happy hour: I’ve been to the BH a few times, and I’ve noticed that the beer list is constantly changing. During my first trip, I ordered a few glasses of Allagash beer during happy, which only ran me $ 3 per beer. During my most recent trip, I ordered a couple of pints of Le Freak beer during happy hour, which ran me $ 5-$ 6 each. While the Allagash was top notch, the Le Freak was amazing… it’s a 9.2ABV Belgian style IPA that has a sweet finish. The food: I’ve tried a few different items from the small menu, but the one I want to focus on in this review is the Brew Hub Burger. The burger — as well as everything else on the food menu — is made in the Whole Foods kitchen. The ingredients consist of an all-beef patty, garlic aioli, lettuce, tomato, and red onion; I chose a side of succulent fries instead of a salad. I wouldn’t say it’s the best burger I’ve ever had, but it definitely is tasty and worth the $ 9 bucks. If it’s in stock, I recommend ordering an Allagash beer with the burger. The atmosphere and customer service: The atmosphere is one of the few reasons why I’ve been to the BH more than once. At the BH, you’re able to sit down and enjoy a beer and be left alone, but if you’re looking for a good conversation, the awesome BH employees are more than willing to talk to you. Also, if you just want to drink a beer and watch a sports game, there’s a large flat screen TV with cable, and the employees will change the channel at your request. In conclusion, if you’re looking for a place that serves good beer and isn’t crowded, then I recommend visiting the Brew Hub.

Whole foods is really ratcheting things up here. Annan Mitra’s Dosateria and now the Brew Hub. Lots of Belgians on tap and American craft beers too. Some wine to boot and food from the kitchen where prepped foods come. Got a nice heavy hit Belgian quad while munching on a burger, brisket, potato skins and meatballs. If it werent for the horrendous parking id actually make my way over here more often.

Pretty cool little addition nestled off to the side of Whole Foods. Walk into main entrance, turn right and you’ll see the Hub. A small tap room with craft beer and wine on tap – plus a decent(but surprisingly not very local-friendly) selection of ciders and mead and sake. You can also order a few small bites or bring some in from their nearby cafeteria area. Prices are reasonable enough for Whole Paycheck.

Very cool addition to Whole Foods — really like that they have a happy hour(5−7P Mon — Fri) because now I can plan my shopping trips around that to make them more fun. :) Pretty good beer selection(both on tap and bottles that they can pour). Next time I’m shopping I’ll grab a bite and a beer!

Beer Selection is FANTASTIC! They have many great styles and local brews on tap and the pours are either small(6oz) or large(10oz) and priced pretty well. The bar area is small, as would be expected inside a market, but lots of seating in the common area and the décor is very appropriate for the area, featuring lots of «0“s and«1“s. I would say check it out after work one day if you are in the area. I’m sure they have good bar snacks :)

This is a legit addition to the Stevens Creek Whole Foods! They offer a pretty healthy selection of craft brews on tap as well as the ability to pour any bottle you select from the store. You’ll also find a handful of mead, cider and wines by the glass. Prices are as expected $ 7−12/6−10oz pours, and the staff is accommodating. If you can get over getting your crunk on in a grocery store, stop by for a nibble and a brew.

Sylvia D. walks into a bar and buys some fresh cream of mushroom soup, a dosa stuffed with lamb, and a draught pour of Hitachino Nest’s Anbai. How the heck is this possible? Well, Whole Foods makes it possible with the new addition of a beer bar inside their grocery store — Brew Hub! Brew Hub offers about 14 beers on tap. Their grand opening was on December 5 and featured craft brews like Dogfish Head’s World Wide Stout and Firestone Walker’s Bretta Weisse and Sucaba. If you’re not that fond of beer, no worries… Brew Hub also has you covered with wine, ciders, mead, and even non-alcoholic drinks such as Italian sodas. To pad your stomach, you can also order appetizers and food from the bar or go to Whole Foods’ usual prepared food area. We’ll see beyond their grand opening how well their beer line up keeps up. For now, it’s a conveniently rad concept to be able to do your grocery shopping, grab a meal or dessert, and top it off with a cold brewski or glass of vino. Or, you can forget that Whole Foods is a grocery store and drop by as if it’s just your neighborhood bar. Either way, cheers!
