We suffered the bad and unhelpful attitude of the young waiter with red hair, which is the owner’s son. This is how it turned out: Tough beef and charcoal ribs when we called over the waiter he said to us: this is how we cook, too bad! Are you kidding me?!! well this is how I rate your restaurant, too bad!

Came here twice within a week after my bf and I joined his housemates for dinner when another Korean place we wanted to try was packed w/a 1.5 hour wait. I’m so glad that happened because this place was soo good! My usual go-to entrée at Korean restaurants is the soft tofu soup and this place did not fail me! the only downside was that it’s not as spicy as most restaurants would make it… but I can look past that! the second time I got the spicy noodle soup in the chinese section of the menu and was I surprised when the entrée came out! the portions are HUGE, it should be put in the center and shared! this entrée was really good though, the noodles were chewy, there was a lot of seafood + veggies for every bite. yumm, i just love this place! the service here is really good also. Its a family-owned restaurant so everyone working is really hard working since it’s their own! They’re really attentive to you, comes around as soon as you look at them. refills your side dishes/water. I definitely recommend this place if you live in cupertino. I can’t wait to try the sushi rolls next time!

I was craving Korean food and Fusion Korea sounded interesting. It’s got Japanese, Korean, and Chinese cuisine in addition to some fusion dishes. There’s sushi here too! I indulged in Korean spicy veggie squid which came with a miso soup and several small Korean dishes. I scarfed the spicy squid down.(I arrived with a ravenous appetite!) It was fairly tasty and far from rubbery. I’d maybe use less sauce. I stirred around with my chopsticks at the end for the last few morsels. If I wasn’t cutting back on carbs, it would have been yummy goodness over rice though. I must also mention, the service is most friendly and attentive. I get the«family business» feel here. This is more of a casual café ambiance and lunch spot for me with the pop/auto tunes style music. The warm welcome as soon as you walk through the doors is much appreciated. I shall return!

My go-to sushi spot! Though it may not be as fancy as other places, it always hits the spot(and doesn’t take a hit to your wallet). I’ve come here for lunch, when they have their bento box lunch specials, which is super affordable and the portion sizes are great. Their sushi is always 30% off, which makes it one of the cheapest sushi places I know of. The quality of the food may not be top-notch, but I honestly cannot tell the difference when it comes to taste. For what you’re paying, this is the best sushi place I’ve ever come across. Also, it’s a family owned restaurant, and the people working there are always really friendly and nice!

Came here once again to Fusion Korea, and this time did not disappoint. We ordered the za zang myun, unagi donburi, and Caterpillar roll. Za zang myun: Very simple dish with just noodles and black bean sauce, but it was good. Portion was big for only being $ 6.95. Unagi donburi: The portion was small, but the unagi was cooked just right. It was very savory. Caterpillar: Very good as well. The avocado wasn’t overpowering. Our server(guy with the red Final Fantasy hair. Can’t miss him) was considerate enough to let us know it was very busy and we might have to wait a bit longer. No problem. :) Decent food + good service = approval from me

FUSIONKOREA Absolutely love this place. They make some of the best sushi ever… at least the best Korean-style sushi ever ^)^ Their roles are large, and they top it off, and don’t skimp on the ingredients. Plus, they offer quite a large variety of sushi rolls to make it interesting. They have some of the best California Rolls of all time, and it’s super cheap, compared to other sushi bars… and to make it even better, all sushi rolls are 30% off! On the hot foods side, they make a delicious zhazhang main(black beans noodles) that is sure to delight everyone. Great place for lunch and also a great destination for a fun dinner with a wide variety of Korean and Japanese foods, combined! You’ll have a great time here!

Decent Korean food, but why come here when there’s all the other Korean places on Lawrence? Because there’s always going to be a table and no wait! The food was pretty good, not the best though. The sushi rolls were okay, their sauces were good though. We also got the bulgogi, kalbi short ribs, and the kimchi tofu soup. The tofu soup wasn’t as spicy or flavorful as some other Korean places. The short ribs were delicious! And the bulgogi pieces were bits and pieces sometimes all mushed up together. But it’s a decent place, service was okay and it’s located next to the bowling alley. I thought the price was a $ 1 too much then their competitors, but prices might be on the rise! My friends and I been coming here since high school, and they’re still open so that’s a good sign!

3.5 stars! Came here for dinner tonight. Didn’t expect much, especially because they had a LOT of items on their menu(both Korean foods and sushi rolls, thus«Fusion Korea»). I was feeling gluttonous and ordered the«jjam bbong,» which is a spicy noodle soup, and a Lion King roll. I wasn’t amazed, but neither was bad. The bowl of jjam bbong was huge! The contents still probably weighed at least half a pound(not including the broth) after I was done with it. I had to take ¾ths of my Lion King roll home because I was too full from the noodles. The service was very friendly and waters were happily refilled without us having to ask. I’d give five stars for that! All in all, I would probably recommend the Korean food over the sushi, unless you’re opting for rolls that are baked or deep-fried(bf said the fish on his nigiri wasn’t that fresh). The prices are low and you definitely get bang for your buck! Oh yeah, and all rolls are 30% off!

My friend and I was driving within the area and I was craving Japanese and he wanted Korean food, so he took me to this place. At first, it didn’t seem to appetizing since I’m not fan of Korean cuisines. Although, it was totally worth the try. Pros: Service: There’s nothing great like a family owned restaurant. Love the couple that runs the place, they’re very energetic, happy, and friendly to their customers. They also seem to make the food as well, which is like having a family made meal! Food: There really was entrees that were actually either Korean or Japanese. I ordered the Japanese chicken terriyaki and my friend ordered the baked lion king roll and the spicy chicken, which came with a whole bunch of Korean side dishes. All of them tasted super good and there’s was plenty per entrée. The baked lion king roll was super filling and made hot to order. Price: For the amount you are getting per dish, its definitively worth the low price you are paying. This place is highly recommended to DeAnza students, since its not much of a drive to get here. FYI: all the sushi rolls are about 30% off, definitely worth it. The only disappointment that I have is that the wait for food takes up some time, since there is limited cooks and servers. Overall, I would love to go back here try their other affordable Sushi rolls, noodles soups, and rice combination bento boxes.

I hadn’t dined here in over a year. It seemed more popular then. There place was about half full. It got me a little worried and I hoped that the food would be just as good as I remembered. Since I wasn’t too hungry i ordered one sushi roll. All sushi 30% off~ I got the caterpillar roll. The side dishes were pretty good. I like the fried fish, still warm! I was a little disappointed with my roll, not because it wasn’t good but because it wasn’t what I was expecting. Still a good place to go for some dinner. I like their double hamachi roll the best. Maybe I should’ve stuck with what I knew.

I came here for dinner with friends, so I regretfully did not get to try the awesome lunch special everyone raves about, but I still had a good experience! I got the tofu soup which was very good, and our table shared all the side dishes as well. The owners are super friendly and seem to remember regulars and high schoolers by name! The food wasn’t impressive, but it was still pretty good — I think I’d definitely still come back to try the other dishes since they have SUCH a huge variety.

you know that place you always say you’ll never go back to again but you always do — that place is fusion korea for me. It’s like an EX you keep going back to… This place is so close to my house — i suppose that’s the reason. It used to be so much better, but now the place just seems run down. Having your high school aged children work there isn’t cool either. The sushi is not fresh(altho cheap). The korean food is slightly better but still is meh. The bulgogi is always tough. kalbi is good. pancakes are actually not bad.

Came out here last Thursday night for dinner. My friend ordered the dragon roll(?) I don’t remember which roll it was but it had to be baked so we ordered that first($ 10). We shared their tofu soup & kalbi combo($ 15). I didn’t really like this restaurant. There are SOMANY good places to eat in Cupertino/SJ area, why go here? Never again. I mean, it wasn’t bad, but I don’t think it was great compare to other places. It’s mediocre and nothing special about it. The side dishes weren’t very good at all and the guy was stingy about giving us seconds. The sushi was not good either… baked means hot right?

Delicious, cheap Korean food! Their sushi has been 30% off for a really long time. I’m not sure why it’s called«Fusion», but the food is pretty typical for a Korean restaurant, with the exception of a few Japanese entrees. They’re very generous with their side dishes and that’s enough to satisfy our hunger while we wait. Sushi is quick, unless it’s complicated(like Lion King roll. My favorite roll will always be the golden california roll — typical, but so good! They used to be really popular but recently, when I’ve gone, it’s been quite empty. Not sure what happened.

I always thought this place(especially for Bentos) was great on the wallet for the quality. I guess I also have a really big soft spot for this place because I had many years of good memories in my early years in college going here. This is probably the first place I was really introduced to Korean style food. I didn’t actually ever have an opportunity to try Korean food until I was in college, and I absolutely loved the taste of bulgogi. It’s a taste I’ve never grown tired of. I also loved the tofu soup they have here. Now that I’ve had a chance over the years to try other places, I still think this place is four stars though. I got recognized as a regular one point by the older Korean woman who was working there… she always hooked it up with a lot of the side dishes(they’re really nice about it here). All in all, I think this is a restaurant is a place I’d still regularly go to if I wasn’t so far away from the South Bay… I honestly miss it!

******************* REVIEW465 ************************* My broski asked me to join him for lunch near his work and he said the food here is good and cheap! I thought that can’t be in the same sentence! I was wrong! Don’t let the name Fusion Korea confused you. It’s a good place for lunch. They offer authentic Korean food and a sushi bar. All sushi rolls are 30% OFF. Instead of going for sushi I told my broksi that, it is a Korean runs resto, I’d like to try their Korean seafood soup, for less than 8 bucks, you got: — A big bowl of soup, with shrimps and clams, egg, rice and banchans(sweet tofu skin, broccoli, daikon pickled, anchovy, kimchi, cabbage salad & clear noodle)! What a steal! I can never have enough banchans! We also tried: — Lion Rolls — baked California rolls with salmon & tobiko topping — giant rolls, I can be full with just this! — spicy tuna rolls — 6 pieces, tuna chunk, for $ 4, wow! — Crispy spicy salmon skin hand rolls — only $ 2! I was amazed & told my broski, how can they be this reasonable & quite authentic tasty? Of course being here, plenty to Apple & Amazon employees come for lunch! I guess this how they stay on business!

I go to this place kind of a lot and end up getting roughly the same things. They have an awesome deal right now: 30% OFF all sushi. Their sushi/sashimi is not the best i’ve had but it’s pretty darn delicious and surly beats the price! :) My favorite thing about this place is the bento lunch boxes: cheap, filling and delicious. As far as sushi goes I’m in love with their golden spicy tuna and their dragon roll. Their cherry blossom roll tends to be a hit or miss depending on the freshness of the fish. The miso soup that comes with the meal is so-so but the salad is dressed with yummy mayo(which some hate but I love).

My friends were in the mood for something«soupy» and I was sick of phở so we agreed on some soon tofu to make everybody happy! I’ve been here before for the sushi, which if I remember correctly was not bad(very standard for korean owned sushi restaurant), but never for the korean tofu. The tofu was very reasonably priced($ 8, or $ 10 with tax and tip), and came with all of the goodies that most korean tofu comes with(such as glass noodles, pickled vegetables, kimchi, etc…) I got the combination tofu soup that came with shrimp, clams, and beef, at medium spicy-ness, which wasn’t too spicy. If you’re scared about the spicyness of the soup you can order the tofu as «mild»(not on the menu) and they will make your soup without spicy-ness and bring out some of the hot sauce that they use to make the soup spicy so you can control how much you want to put in yourself. The soup was good, but when they brought it out it wasn’t very hot so the egg didn’t cook very quickly, which was kinda scary(salmonella!) Also, the beef was too chewy, and one of my clams were closed): boo. One of my friends ordered the Za Zhang noodles, which were also pretty good. For $ 7 you get this huge bowl of noodles, and some salad on the side. Though I do enjoy Za Zhang noodles I dont think I could finish the entire bowl, so maybe split it with someone unless you’re extremely hungry. Besides the minor problems mentioned my meal was very satisfying, and I may come back again if I ever crave Korean tofu!

Hehe Anita, you have so many 1st reviews and I am always like…“Oh hey, Anita was the 1st to review this place.” So after looking up cheap Korean food in and around the South Bay, I stumbled upon Fusion Korea. Even though it had a 3.5 star rating, what convinced me to come here was the lunch special that people were talking about. $ 4.99 would get you meat, rice, salad, noodles, miso soup, an appetizer and banchan(kim chi included). There were some folks from Apple Inc. dining there for lunch and the prices did go up but it was still a good price, $ 5.95 for meat, rice, salad, a piece of fried gyoza, a California roll, miso soup and noodles. Still a great deal for so much food. I had the bbq pork which was good and the restaurant is not skimpy on portions. Check out my pictures to see! Service is great and funny how the restaurant has a Unilocal sticker on front lol.

I go here for one thing and one thing only: ZAMPONG. So far, the chewiest noodles I’ve found in my neighborhood, in nicely mild and tasty soup with a pile of veggies and bits of seafood. The water tastes clean, as they proudly claim. I’d give four stars to this simple dish alone. Everything else I could do without… though I will add this: stick with the Korean menu(tofu soup, bulgogi, etc), avoid the sashimi in whatever form and their kimchi/banchans.
