I went there with my husband, one year old son and another couple. We were excited to try something new and since this place was new we figured we’d give it a try! I would say DONOTGOTHERE!!! Let me start by saying the food was delicious BUT we ordered the fried chicken(which should be cooked) and it was frozen! Almost gave it to my son like that. Pros: Good meet NOTHINGELSE CONS: *Poor service — after our first round of food we waited nearly 30 min before anyone came back and that was only because I flagged someone *We obviously needed a highchair, so they took us to our table but left and never brought our highchair, my husband was standing there waiting and when he went to them they got all huffy and dropped off the highchair and didn’t even acknowledge us. * So rushed — they weren’t even busy but every time they DID come around to take our order they would take one and try to leave. We had 4 people at that table and one was prego with twins so its safe to say we ALL wanted to order! *Frozen fried chicken! *A bit pricy Like i said the food was good but everything else was a sham! Not sure we’d go back

Side dishes eh, quality meat not good. Similar price to Gen. I prefer the latter. Service was slow. Had two waitress. The younger one running around doing almost everything, n the older woman stands around and now n then bring out a dish or so. Meat just not fresh n really tasteless.

LOL to all the reviews about how this place is better than Gen(sorry if I sound like a b****). Absolute trash in my opinion. Came in on a Wednesday night, and it wasn’t packed at all. I guess I’d say that’s the only pro that I can think of about this joint is that there isn’t a wait, and you can get seated right away. Although All That BBQ has more menu items than that of Gen, I don’t think the quality quite matches up. The meats came out either super frozen or it looked like it had been marinating for an entire day. We ordered quite a few items, but I remember feeling absolute disgust when it came to the red wine pork belly. My friends and I decided to get this because they had it at Gen, and my friends thought it was AMAZING. When it came out, our pork belly looked like it was rotting… it was an unnatural shade of purple, and I didn’t know how I felt about it. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. Once the pork belly finished cooking, I took a bite and immediately spit it out due to how strong the wine marinade was. It did not taste good at all! AND it looked unappetizing from the start. The sides here aren’t as good as the sides provided at Gen or YakiniQ. I don’t think I even touched them… I was very disappointed that they didn’t have rice paper, so when we saw honey rice cakes on the menu, we decided to give it a try. When our rice cakes came out… they were completely frozen… How the heck do you expect me to eat something that’s frozen??? It was so hard, that we couldn’t even bite through to it. Not even heating it up worked… because you can’t really heat up rice rolls on a grill. Now, it would be one thing if the food was bad and the service was good… but both were awful. There were maybe 2 other parties present at the time my friends and I were dining. Despite this fact, our server rarely ever checked on us and it was just very slow. Perhaps I came in on a bad night, but I was truly disappointed by everything. I don’t know if I’d want to give this place another try… but maybe I’ll be generous and give it a second chance. All in all, not a very pleasant experience. 8⁄10 would not come again.

Pros: Plenty of good food(my top fav was #6BBQ short ribs); fun experience Cons: A little bit pricey; a bit smoky as you would expect Suggestions: even more variety of sauces Other comments: we came just after 6PM on a Sat night, and there were six groups in front of us(about 15 min wait); we asked for half-orders so were able to get more variety

Let me start off first by saying this place is 10x better than Gen! I came with my coworkers to celebrate a birthday and I’m glad Gen was all booked so we couldn’t go there. Service was definitely WAYYYYY better. Every waiter/waitress was very attentive and noticed us right away, they also didn’t turn down the heat everytime they came by. Now about the food. There is definitely a lot more variety than at Gen. There’s 2 pages FULL of meats and seafood. We tried so many of them, but I can’t remember because we had a lot of soju and beer. I remember the sirloin being very good and the spicy pork bulgogi. My boss really loves the beef belly and they have unlimited LA galbi. I’ll definitely recommend this place over Gen to my friends.

Good but inconsistent. Came here a few times for lunch already, and their meat isn’t very consistent in quality. We order the brisket the most, and it’s always inconsistent. Sometimes it’ll be ridiculously fatty, other times really lean, and then sometime somewhere in the middle. Same for their marinated short ribs. I would skip their bulgogi, for some reason when we ordered it and cooked it, the meat kind of just fell apart like ground sausage or something. Maybe because it was marinated for too long? Not sure. They have a huge variety of banchan which I really enjoy, especially the fish cake and mac salad. The service is average. I feel like it’s kind of hard to flag down the waitress’s sometimes because they don’t really look around, like even if they’re serving the table right next to us, they still might not see our hand before walking away. HEADSUP: they charge you full dinner price all day on weekends/holidays. Pretty average kbbq place, I come whenever I’m craving some nice grilled brisket! I still prefer this place over gen, despite it all. I think it’s much more worth your time and money.

All that and Gen are both AYCE korean bbq joints that recently opened up in this area. I have to say that All That is better in terms of food variety and price point, while Gen appeals in terms of atmosphere(fancy blue light and nice interior, plus great sound system), and service(servers keep checking on you and changing plates and grills without prompting). We came to All That for dinner on a Friday night at 5:30pm and the place was pretty empty. We were seated promptly, and our server took our orders immediately. The side dishes were decent, but I personally prefer Gen’s. However, All That’s steamed egg and kim chi soup were FANTASTIC. I had 2 servings of steamed eggs.(Gen doesn’t offer steamed eggs.) The spicy squid, brisket, beef belly, pork belly, and flap tail steak are PHENOMENAL. We had at least 2 servings of all of the above(just 2 of us). When we left at 7:30pm, the place was getting crowded with only 1 or 2 tables open. Definitely happy that we came earlier, since the servers were getting busier by this time, and didn’t spend much time checking on tables. We had to ask for grill change twice, they don’t really initiate that. Will be back for that yummy feast!!!

I have been to All That Barbeque well over five times now. Each time they are consistent with service and quality of food. The options are wide ranging from brisket to marinated sirloin to seafood options. Chicken, pork, beef, seafood, vegetables, and soups are included. It is only a matter of choice. My favorites are brisket, beef belly, Pork belly in soy sauce, any of the ribs or ribless options, marinated sirloin, flap tail steak, skirt steak, tofu soup, steamed egg, honey rice cake, wrapped vegetable, and crispy spicy chicken. For two people for dinner the price comes out to about $ 53. It is great for parties! There is a time limit but it isn’t fully enforced especially when it isn’t busy. There is an extra charge of 11.99 if there is food waste.

Today was my 1st time coming here. Got seated pretty fast for dinner. All you can eat was $ 24.99. But if you don’t finish the majority of the food you ordered. They’ll charge you $ 11.99. So come with a big appetite. And finish most of your food. Haha. It was yummy, but after awhile I got tired of all the meat(even the selection on the all you can eat menu). I would get it a 4 or 5, but the women’s restroom and service was kinda somewhat bad. The waitress that took our order at first was nice and friendly. But didn’t see her afterwards. Kept calling a waiter and waitress over.

My new favorite place for Korean bbq!!! And this place has no waits time. It’s a all you can eat Korean bbq. It 25 person and you can eat as much as you want!!! Which is not a bad deal since we eat a lot. But there is a 2 hrs limit. I tried almost everything on the menu, both front and back!!!. Definitely coming back!

Probably one of the better AYCE Korean barbecue in the Bay that I’ve tried. The restaurant is a lot bigger than it looks and pretty clean/nicely ventilated. There is plenty of parking which was definitely a plus even if we went at peak dinner hours. I came here with a big group for my early birthday celebration! It took a bit to get seated because we had a group of 9, but once we were seated, we were welcomed by all of the servers here. The AYCE menu has a huge variety that you can pick from, from the typical Korean meats(pork belly, brisket, kalbi, etc) to more unique items such as spicy mini octopus, beef tongue, intensities, and many more! They were very quick to assist with what we wanted to try multiple rounds. The meat tasted pretty fresh and marinated meats were not over power in which is nice. They have the«dduk Saam»(rice cake wraps) for the meat which I absolutely love! Everyone was really nice and more than willing to help even if the restaurant was super busy. It was definitely a fun experience and a huge plus that I didn’t smell like meat walking out of the restaurant after dinner as well. Will definitely be coming back to try more from their menu!

Not bad for AYCE korean bbq. Not much banchan, but servers very attentive and no limit in ordering for each round. what’s good: banchan-kimchi, rice noodle sheets, pink daikon slices, fishcake, beansprouts and something like mac salad, but with penne, and cabbage salad. Decent banchan. My favorite was the kimchi. meats: if i can remember we got, spicy bulgogi, reg bulgogi, octopus, beef tongue, beef belly, steak, korean hamburger, and that’s all i can remember. everything was good, except the korean hamburger patty because i don’t taste anything korean about it. I wished they cut beef tongue more thicker since it was paprer thin! you get server or a servdr walking around checking up on people. they have 3 kinds of rice! not good: tea is $ 2.75. some kind of korean herbal tea also good, but wth? I’ve been to a few korean bbq places and they all serve lettuce without you asking, but here i figured you have to ask for it. our bill was $ 141 with 2 extra drinks plus everything else included. auto gradituity i think is +6 people. personally, it was ayce for 4 people so it’s somewhat worth it? i know korea palace would be hella more expensive.

$ 24.99 for all you can eat per person for dinner. I personally prefer this place over Gen BBQ. The wait isn’t long, there’s no limit on how much you can order each round, and the portion of the banchan is pretty standard(they don’t have any potatoes though. I thought that was weird). The menu selection has more variety too. I highly recommend: #4: marinated sirioin #5: beef belly #6: marinated boneless short ribs #18: skirt steak #36: tofu stew in medium The marinate on all the meat were flavorful and I enjoyed it more than Gen. Even though it is all you can eat, they didn’t skimp out on the portion which was great! This place would’ve gotten a 5 star but I had to subtract 2 because the waiter spilled water on my friend’s flats and did not say sorry. Then we asked the waiter to change the grill since charcoal were piled up. He gave a loud sigh, grabbed the hook to take out the old grill and slammed the new one on top after that. I get that it was the day after New Years and maybe he didn’t want to be work. But don’t take it out on the customers. That said, food was good but the customer service needs huge improvement.

I would give this place a solid 2.5 stars. But I rounded down to a 2 because I was anticipating for this place to be at least mediocre. So I came in for lunch at $ 15.99 per person. Great price for ayce in NorCal. However, the food reflected the price which is a total disappointment. I’ll admit that I’ve been spoiled living in LA getting to indulge in fantastic ayce kbbq places like oo-kook, haejangchon, and even the better cheaper options like budnamu but all that bbq was a complete and utter disappointment. What we ordered: Brisket: very fatty, and made me feel sick after a few pieces. Bulgogi: the marinade was almost sour and pretty appalling. I don’t get how they could mess up something so easy to make. Marinated boneless short rib: where was the marinade? The meat was itself had a nice texture but the meat was so bland I had to douse it in the sesame oil and salt. Pork belly: probably the best thing on the menu. Nice meat marbling and texture. Not too much fat and just the right thickness. Steamed egg: just disgusting. This restaurant adds way too much milk in the eggs resulting in a custard like consistency. Don’t order this. Honey rice cake: this was really yummy! But then again, it didn’t require any marinades whatsoever. Final notes: I wouldn’t come back just because there are better options of Korean bbq within a 10 mile radius. Our waters were never refilled and service was very spotty.

Came here on a Wednesday night and only 1⁄3 of the tables were filled. Cam here on a Saturday evening and only ½ of the tables were filled. Where did everyone go? It’s such a great price for AYCE korean BBQ. Remember the old days that only Palace BBQ was the only one around? That place is like 35 bucks per person now, crazy… The menu is vast, for dinner there are a few more choices than lunch. Meat quality is not the best, but not the worse. But hey, it’s AYCE!

Don’t know why this place has such low ratings! It’s not as bad as what others are saying. I love this place because it’s so spacious, clean and there’s so many tables. Every time I’ve been here, I haven’t had to wait. There is also so many options of meat to choose from. The service is friendly as well. Some meat are marinated in red wine and man oh man, it’s delicious! They’re not stingy on the portions either. You truly get what you’re paying for. In the end, you won’t be walking out the place… you’ll be rolling out(like me). Haha just kidding. This place is definitely a place that comes to mind when a family or friend mentions«all you can eat». I do count on myself for coming back! I hope I do, because I’m already craving.

Yay 100th review on Unilocal! AYCE Dinner special is $ 24.99 before taxes! This place isn’t the cheapest but overall the selection of meats and sides make this place worth. The shop just recently opened and there are some thing here and there that they can improve upon, but honestly, I was happy with the food and that’s what matters. The wait here the night before thanksgiving surprisingly long and the resturant looked busy, but still had a lot of open tables. The wait here for a table of 6 took roughly 1 hour, but reservations can be made if you have a party of 8 or more. The seating area is relatively small and doesn’t offer a lot of seating(there were only 2 chairs). The reason why the wait was so long and yet there were many open tables was because the kitchen did not have enough grills for each table… I found this reason to be completely unprofessional and stupid for a AYCEKBBQ place because it’s a simple mistake that could have been avoided. Once we sat down, our waiter was ready to take our meat orders. There were no limitations on how much meat plates we can order(which is a plus!) and unlimited side dishes like rice, steamed eggs, kimchi soups etc. The wait for meat was not slow and the meat itself looked pretty nice. Not that much fat content from other acye kbbq places, but it also depends on which meats you get. They also have short ribs, octopus, squid and other seafoods which is great. I think their selection of meat is excellent and you really get a variety. I’m not sure if they change how much meat a table gets depending on the party size but the portions for each meat option was fair and generous. What made me sad to bump this place to 4 stars were the appetizers and how forgetful the servers can be. The rice paper here was absolutely disgusting! It felt so dry and crusty… I asked for another plate of rice paper thinking the first batch was just bad, but noppeeee I was wrong. I personally like to eat my meats with rice paper and other sides like kimchi and having no rice paper sorta sucked. Also our server forgot to give us the sauces until we asked her for them. I understand that kbbq places can get busy, but the setting the sauces in just as important as setting the table ware. I also accidentally ordered a soft drink, thinking it was free, but don’t do it cause it’s like $ 3. NOTWORTH :( Overall, price here is steep but the meats and selection makes up for it.

4STAR. Why should I go wait for 3 hours at Gen BBQ if I can just go to All That Barbecue in Cupertino??? This new AYCE Korean BBQ joint just opened up a few weeks ago, and I am so happy that we found it. My wife and I went for dinner last Friday night at around 6pm, and were expecting the wait to be around an hour or so, and we were shocked that we were immediately seated and ready to be served! The venue itself has ample seating(can seat groups up to 8 – 10 I’d say), but what is more impressive is the service at this location. They have more servers here than most other AYCE Korean BBQ joints, including Gen, which results in their ability to take orders quickly and to get you the meat/seafood that you ordered in less than 5 minutes… INCREDIBLE! As for the options, there are over 40 options for dinner. Dinner is $ 24.99 per person, which isn’t bad compared to other places like Palace BBQ in Sunnyvale, etc. A number of their options are only available for dinner, as is common with most Korean BBQ joints. Here is what I recommend you order(in order of highest recommendation): * Marinated BBQ short rib * Marinated boneless short rib * Pork belly * Spicy squid * Brisket point * Skirt steak(just ok — a little tough to eat) We also tried the steamed egg, which wasn’t all that great, so I’d recommend avoiding that, but everything else was on point. We are hoping to try more of the dishes in our next visit! Their side dishes were great complements as well, as they had a nice assortment to pick and choose from as we were eating the meat and seafood. They didn’t have roasted fish cake though, which is my favorite, so hopefully they add that soon! What I was most impressed about was the service. They were so friendly and so quick to get your food. They checked in frequently and made sure we were doing ok. This was unlike most other experiences I have had in AYCE Korean BBQ places. Will definitely be back again soon!

Watch out, gen! Your arch nemesis followed you all the way from SoCal up to the bay. Or. Maybe it’s the other way around? Considering this place opened about 3 months earlier. And also, I haven’t tried gen yet so all of this is just me bullshitting aka assuming/making up drama. This review will solely be based on the dinner portion so I’m not sure if they have a different policy(Time limit, max order per round, etc.) for lunch. But for dinner, there are definitely no time limit nor maximum order per round. The only thing you need to worry about is not over-ordering to the point of having leftovers, because then you gotta pay a fine of like $ 12 or something in that ballpark. For AYCE, the meat quality is exactly what you’d expect for AYCE meat quality to be– just A-OK. The Kalbi aka marinated bone-in rib slice was a bit too thick for my liking. I wouldn’t keep ordering that every round. There are definitely a lot of meat options with some options(like pork jowl) you’ve never seen before and just go, «which part of the pig is that?!» Surprisingly, pork jowl ended up making it to my top 8(yes, throwback to MySpace). Also, the portions are a bit weird and not consistent with each type of order. For an order of shrimp, there was only 4. yes FOUR pieces of shrimp. There were six of us. Did they expect us to share the four shrimps among the six of us? They should definitely portion the orders to cater however many people are at that table. My recommended top 8: 1. Beef belly 2. Miso pork belly 3. Pork jowl 4. Brisket joint 5. Flap tail steak 6. Marinated boneless short rib 7. Beef tongue(must try!) 8. Lettuce/wrapped vegetable(to convince yourself you are eating«healthy») Here’s a tip on how to get the best bang for your buck– when your desired meat is ready to be phagocytize, dip said meat into desired sauce. Then, grab a layer of rice paper(the stack of white sheet) or lettuce. Put dipped meat on the single layer of rice paper. Add your favorite side dishes(I add some jap chae). Top it off with the pink radish. Now comes the fun part, close your rice paper like it’s one big bundle and stuff entire thing in your mouth. This may seem like a lot of work but trust me, it will feel like a mini party in your mouth! Service is alright. We had a main server who would take our orders, refill drinks, and take away empty dishes. She looked tired, having to serve our party of 21. In my booth, there were 6 of us so the table space was already very limited with a big ass salad bowl and a few of the side dishes. It was very cramped and by the time the meat came, it felt crowded. I asked our waitress if it would be possible to bring a separate table to put our meat orders on since there was basically no room. I think she misunderstood or misheard me because she denied me by saying that the area was already reserved for our big party. Hm, weird. They apparently never thought of that idea. And so, we had to just work with it by stacking dishes on top of each other. It was kind of annoying and a pain in the ass. I will come back when I am craving kbbq and want to pig out like I’ve been starving for days.

All That Barbecue(ATB), is an AYCE bbq with a very wide selection of meat to choose from cooked on a gas grill. Your best value is to come during lunch but that means you have to go back to the office smelling like smoking bbq. You been warn. Lunch is $ 16, dinner is $ 25. Your experience at ATB really depends on your expectation. It is a AYCE so don’t expect high quality meat. I recommend sticking with thinner cut meat. The thicker cut meat was just too chewy, felt like a horse chewing corn husk. They only serve a few banchan and were just average at best, ok, I hardly touch them. Service is typical what you would expect at a Korean restaurant. If you need something, flag a server down. We order all our meats at once so we didn’t have to wait for more. ATB is a decent place that will fill your craving, just stick with thinner cut meat. I much rather go to a place with wide selection of delicious banchan, isn’t that what eating Korean food is all about? And pay a little more for quality meat and cooked on charcoal instead of gas.
