Sandwhiches are alright, staff friendly. The sandwhiches can get super huge too. I will try this place again.

Excellent spot for a good ol’ fashioned, Northeastern city inspired sub. The meats are a cut above — pun intended — and the veggies are very fresh. The help does its best although it does get very busy around lunch time so exercise patience. And don’t forget to try out the red hot pepper relish. It’s the real deal.

I usually go to a different Jersey Mike’s location but stopped at this one on the way home. Normally, Jersey Mike’s subs are great — perfectly seasoned and the bread is fresh. This one has different and more cardboard-like bread and staff are far less competent. There was only one other person ahead of me and 3 staff working. I ordered two subs and asked for specific toppings on both. Went home, all excited for my sub-goodness only to find there were zero toppings making the sub itself visibly flat and sad. The taste did not satisfy the craving. I will not return to this location where it’s clear their teenage staff can’t keep up with simple orders when it’s not even busy. Not worth the $ 18.

Eh this place is whatever. It’s a bit overpriced for my taste but quality is pretty good. I ordered their classic Philly which was decent; I just didn’t like how it was $ 14! I could’ve went to a Cheesesteak joint with that price and had it much bigger and better quality. Jersey Mike’s reminds me of a Subway/Togos but with a more grill selection and less vegetable variety. I’d rate it a C+ for what it is. I was hungry and needed something quick-ish but a cheesesteak specifically. I wouldn’t come back but this place is well worth the try! It’s just not my cup of tea that’s all.

This place just isn’t working, been there 4 times now. Had the Hoagie, looked good up to the point where the maker doused big time, the oil and vinegar. Only problem, she rained it all over the tomatoes on top, so everything just poured off onto the counter. What a mess. Someone doesn’t have a clue how to make a Hoagie. Also, the people I came with ordered hot sandwiches took almost 20 minutes to get! Really, at lunch time, you have got to be kidding. On top of that, we were just about the first ones there, so this can’t be blamed on the«lunch rush». This has been the same story each time. Now I see why they have no lines at lunch time. I suspect if they don’t change they will be out of business soon.

Great sub spot. Three different sizes of sandwiches which is great for me cause the mini is close to 6 inches already. I love that they slice meat and cheese fresh for each sandwich right in front of you. It’s nice to know where it’s coming from. And they make their roast beef on site. This place is about the same price as Subway but far better quality!

So slow!!! Waited almost 20 min for a cheesesteak. After getting it, I realized this is the saddest looking sub I’ve ever seen! What a disappointment. It was more of an onion sandwich with a little bit of meat. For the price, so not worth it. This is also not the first time this happens. Maybe the cold subs are a little better? Not sure and I don’t want to find out. Will not be coming back.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a sandwich place for a quick dinner, and I was tired of Erik’s, so next on the list was this! And boy, it was a pleasant surprise! I came in with low expectations based on previous reviews, but with an open mind. We stood staring at the menu for the longest time debating what we wanted because everything sounded pretty good. And watching the sandwiches being made from the customers in front of us made our mouths water. The sizzle of the hot sandwiches being made was very alluring. So we decided to each get a hot and cold sandwich and split it. Best of both worlds. He got the Italian and I got #36, cheese steak with mushrooms and bell peppers and extra cheese! YUM. Both were delicious! My cheese steak was perfectly cheesy and the flavors were incredible. He compared the sandwich as a smaller version to Amato’s Cheese Steak, but the bread is just not as good as Amato’s. His Italian was great. It smelled super fresh when we took it out of the wrapping, it tasted fresh as well. The seasoning looked like it was going to be a bit much when we watched them make it, but it came out perfect! It’s definitely on my go-to list for the future.

I would probably stay away from the cold sandwiches. I was observing a worker make a sandwich and it was shocking!!! They don’t even put a paper down before assembling it, it is all touching the counter. They then load it with vinegar and oil and lettuce falls off on the sides. Then as the sandwich is still touching the counter they then transfer it to the paper and wrap the sandwich. Then the real fun begins. The worker then throws the leftover lettuce back into the pile of lettuce so they re-use it. Last time I checked there is no lettuce drought… The excess vinegar and oil then gets scraped into a catch tray. Not once did i see them wipe the counter down or anything. After seeing this I ordered a hot sandwich and it was just okay. Too much damn bread not enough meat. Sanitary issues here…

Mikes Way all the way! If you get any of the featured sandwiches and make sure you get Mikes Way, no doubt you’ll be coming back. BESTSUBSAROUND! Oh, if you are looking for wheat bread or a Subway experience, then go to Subway… THIS is Mikes Subs and they do it their way… the BEST way!

Came here on Sunday cause we where craving a sandwich. At first I was set on getting a cold sandwich but after looking over the menu I decided to get a big kahuna cheese steak and I’m glad I did. It was good., the big kahuna comes with grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, jalapeños and extra cheese. The worker did a good job putting this sandwich together I enjoyed every bit. The only thing about this location it has a funny smell to it but I think that it has something to do with when they built the place cause I’ve smelt the smell at other newly built places.

Quick, easy and tastes good This was my second trip for a highly represented sandwich. My first trip was on a coupon from a free sandwich mailer after they opened a month or so ago. Lesson learned, the free sandwich was not even close to what they served up today. The sandwich today was huge, chucked full of delicious meats, cheese and the trimmings«Mike’s Way.» The lesson is; if you are going to send out a free sandwich to try the place, give the person an impressive sandwich and do not short them by being skimpy. Clearly I would have come back sooner had the first one been what their normal sandwich is. Try it, you’ll like it!

My wife works in the area so I came with my son and her one day to have lunch here. We got one of their Philly Cheesesteaks, and a Rueben to split. Both of the sandwiches were decent size, decent price and very good. The service was great as well, before I went to order I went outside to get my son and wife settled and then came back in. The guy that took my order noticed my son and was asking about him some and told me he had just had a son. He then told me to wait outside and they would bring it to me. This isn’t really a sit down bring to your table type of place so I just decided to wait inside for my order to be ready. The same guy the took my order noticed me stranding there, yelled out my name told me it was alright just wait outside and they would bring my sandwiches out. Good sandwiches and good service, I will come back here sometime again for lunch.

One of my biggest challenges working in Cupertino is to find a good and quick restaurant for lunch with decent price. So when I saw Jersey Mike’s being built up in the new commercial-residential zone I was quite looking forward. Well, it did not disappoint me. Came on a Thursday noon and there were 3 people in the line. I was debating between The Super Sub and The Original Italian and finally decided to go with the latter one, mainly because I saw all those loads of meat in the fridge and I felt like I was in one of those SF Italian grocery stores for sandwiches. The Original Italian(regular size): A-. This sub consists of provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami and pepperoni. One thing I liked the most about the sub is all the meats — in contrast to Subway where the meats were all sliced and prepared beforehand, here they actually use those meat slicing machine to get all those meats on the sub after you place the order. I guess this is why I felt the meat was more fresh. After the meat, you can add the different veggies, mayo, oil, vinegar, spices, etc. I asked for everything except onion and the combination of these was just wonderful. $ 8.50 is really not a bad Cupertino price with this high quality. Now, two things I wanted to see as improvement: 1. Choices of bread. I wasn’t asked what kind of bread I would like so I guess there’s no choice. But I would love to see if this will become an options for customers. I will definitely vote for adding Dutch Crunch! 2. I wish the paper wrapping of the sandwich can be «tighter» so that when the staff cut the sandwich in half, I would actually be hold on to half a sandwich with paper wrapping. I ended up having to hold the bread with bare hand and since they were so generous on the amount of ingredients, my hands became so messy. Every staff that I talked with on that day was extremely friendly. They seem to be all very proud of working at this place and kept telling me the Original Italian sub is a good choice for first timer. Well I agree with that too. I’m sure I will come to this place often and I can’t wait to try their other sandwiches already!

Ive been to enough of their other bay area locales to know now that there’s a secret menu. The Cancro and R&R were on the mind. However they didnt have corned beef for the latter. So Cancro and reuben with bacon it was. The line was pretty long but they got through it pretty fast. We sat outside and there’s this crazy channel of wind pumping through, It actually uprooted the umbrellas simultaneously. Solid sandwiches and good customer service.

Really. 4.5 star average? I’d rather go to subway. I considered giving this place 1 star, but it takes a nightmare for me to give any place 1 star. Jersey mike wasn’t quite there, but still extremely disappointing. Seeing a new sandwich place opening, I decided to take a risk an check it out. This was definitely a risk that did not pay off. The first thing the staff asked me when I ordered my sandwich was«Is it okay if you get this on wheat bread?». Why??? Are you just trying to get rid of your stale bread? I ordered a classic philly cheese. 6 inches. $ 9.24. I’m pretty sure I can make a sub that’s double the size, double the meat, in half the time, and for half the price. Seriously. What the heck. If you want a good sandwich, go to Ike’s Also, they use way too much foil to wrap their subs. Again. What the heck. Did I make an order for some aluminum foil that just happened to come with a sandwich? Or did I actually order a sandwich? Hmm. Their staff is also not that friendly, but it’s probably because I arrived 15 minutes before closing and the really wanted to shut down and get home on a Friday night.

Meh, not a whole lot here for me as a vegetarian. There are like 2 options and that’s it! Granted the staff were super nice, but it just wasn’t my place. Ike’s & Togos are way better. If you are a meat eater, then this place is great. Just be prepared that it’ll take a while for your sandwich to be made. It is a lot like 5 guys, made to order. Be ready to just stand around for a bit.

I stopped by for a dinner sandwich to go after I got a coupon in the mail for a free sandwich. There is a lot of retail parking in the back, especially since they are the only business currently open in the retail space. I walked in the back and came around to the counter in the front where I was promptly greeted by two of the people behind the counter. As a newbie to Jersey Mike’s, I had a lot of questions(Do the hot sandwiches come with all the toppings? — No, just what is listed. Why are the numbers out of order? There aren’t 56 sandwiches, the numbers stand for certain things.), but the staff was friendly about answering all of them and being patient with me. Originally, I was looking at the turkey and provolone cold sub, which seems to be what they’re known for, but then I saw that they have hot sandwiches, which I love! I ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich, and I was not disappointed. The bread is nothing too special, but it was soft. I would have preferred it to be a bit more toasted, like Quizno’s, but it was heated and held up well to the tomato sauce and melted cheese. There was a generous portion of breaded chicken, which was obviously high quality(v. McDonald’s chicken nugget mystery meat). It was a bit on the pricey side for a regular, about $ 9.50 including tax, but it was also a large portion size that could easily be split into two. Service was very fast and very friendly. Some other observations: There is seating both outside and in the store, but it is somewhat limited. Even though my sandwich didn’t include any cold cuts, I saw the manager freshly slicing up various meats and cheeses. I will definitely keep Jersey Mike’s in mind for a quick dinner, especially now that the Quizno’s that used to be across the street(ish) is gone.

I’ve tried Jersey Mike’s a few times now and I like the taste of their Philly Cheese Steak. The bread is pretty good, the meat and cheese have good flavor, and if you ask for sauce(from their meatballs) they will put it on for you. The place on Stevens Creek has little eating area. Maybe they are going for a take-out crowd. It could have outdoor seating, but I was there at night and didn’t notice. The one downside is that their regular size is just too small for me. It’s good for a snack, but as a meal, you would need the large. The problem with that is that a large is $ 14. So, for a snack I like the place. For a full meal, you should probably be a light eater.
