Closed for remodeling forever now. I bought gift cards and now can’t use them. The food wasn’t that great anyhow. Not pleased with this place. I prefer Round Table.

I’m always leery when a large chain tries to get onto the«make your own» bandwagon. In this case, Round Table failed miserably. The flavors and choices are too much like their normal offering with the exception of the thin crust. The available options for sauce, toppings, etc. are not listed anywhere so it was difficult to customize the pizza or salad. Plus, they limit the number of toppings and charge accordingly. Now, this place is for you if you’re in the mood for a chain pizza with a thin crust. But the other options(Mod Pizza, Pizza Studio, Pieology, and Blaze) which are better overall are difficult to ignore.

Unilocalers these days are so picky! I went here with my boyfriend today and we were pleasantly surprised. Food is solid, ANDAVOCADODOESNTCOSTEXTRA! Workers were friendly, décor is dope, ambiance is spot on; I feel like I could chill here. And they serve beer! It’s a little pricey, but hey beer is beer. Overall, a solid choice for ~$ 10

Service here was friendly and professional. The establishment was clean upon my arrival. This place is like MOD pizza but I feel the ingredients and especially the dough was better. They provided free cheese bread with our order. I will be back soon!

This is a great new neighborhood joint for us. Nice and spacious, family friendly. Love the choice of toppings to make your own. There is also simple beer and wine. The staff is also very cheerful. It may not be gourmet pizza like amicis, but is a great value with good quality

It was ok the first time I went so I figured I would go back to try it again. I should have just steered clear of this place. The pizzas are ok. The crust is good if you like round table’s crust but that’s about it. If you want unlimited toppings this is not the place to go. They charge a dollar each for every topping that goes past the 5 toppings limit. Also, they need to work on the cleanliness while preparing food. I found somebody’s disgusting long hair in my salad that I got to go. Lost my appetite and any chance of me coming back. Bleh.

Got another coupon in the mail so decided to eat here one more time with my friend. What a disappointment. Why? I didn’t realize how little toppings they had to choose from when you create your own pizza since last time I had a salad ANDHAIRAS A TOPPINGSHOULDNOTBEANOPTION!!! Ordered a vegetarian pizza: –½ «creamy garlic» –½ reg red sauce –roasted mushrooms –reg raw mushrooms –bell peppers –red onions –artichoke Only got 4 toppings, technically, because they didn’t have any other«interesting» toppings I had wanted — SIGH. Pizza gets to the table, I start eating. I’m ½ way through when I pick up my next slice, was about to take a bite & saw a very long brown hair sticking out from under my toppings — YUCK!!! I took my pizza back to the cashier, she asked what was wrong, I told her & then she sorta loudly said to her manager — «Hey(insert name here), hair!» — WOW. Really? She was ringing up a customer & then the customer looked over at my pizza with wide eyes lol. Personally, if I worked there, this is not something I would just belt out for all to hear. Anyway, the manager was very kind & apologetic. Offered me something else(nice but heck no!). I politely declined & he gave me my money back. Boring pizza & hair in it isn’t what you want to see. NEVERAGAIN — much better options nearby!!!

So we went and tried Pixx Pizza and Salad today — got gift cards from Costco — forgot the special ad but that’s okay — will definitely go back for the Apple and Gorgonzola pizza! SOGOOD! the sweet, tart(from the apple), cheesy with that gorgonzola flavor… on thin crust… DROOL! so good! I stole two slices from hubby… I had the Steak and Gorgonzola Salad — it’s steak and salad with mushrooms on top of very think crust pizza that was baked with cheese — Very yummy but was disappointed at how little Gorgonzola was on my salad — after all the NAME of the salad is «Steak and Gorgonzola» so not sure where the Gorgonzola was… and the steak was cold… but the thin crust was very good… We also tried the island salad — that was very good — lots of yummy salad and tender chicken on that thin cheese baked crust… and then my other daughter had a make your own salad on the thin crust… she liked it… BIGPLUS — they serve Devil’s Canyon Root Beer on TAP!!! how awesome is THAT! :) They still have work to do with new workers — took a long time for the pizza/salad to appear — they had to redo the pizzas from the person before us but hopefully once they get the kinks out they’ll be faster… Will definitely go back and try other ones…

I was pleasantly surprised by the food. Portions were larger, bread for the salad was delicious(cheesy bread), options for drinks were great and all for a decent price. Great service too! Would could come back(excited for how late they’re open — 10pm). Definitely a fast way to get your pizza or salad fix in.

With the success of smaller hipster«Build Your Own» pizza joints, Round Table has decided to cash in on the trend and open their own version. The pizza dough is advertised to be made fresh daily on premises but it didn’t have much flavor. And while my pizza was fresh baked, it had the taste and bite of a crust that was day old and reheated. The novelty item(i.e. Fresh Pixx«Special») was their salads layered on top of their baked pizza crust drizzled with olive oil. This is a fun concept but their execution needs work. It’s the same stale pizza crust, only without sauce and cheese, just salads. If they would expand and offer focaccia, breadsticks, whole wheat or even gluten free, that would make this more than the one trick pony it currently is. Service was excellent with everyone professional and courteous. After we ordered and paid, we were given table numbers/tents(like Carl’s Jr) and our food was brought to us a few minutes later. While this wasn’t the last honest pizza, I’ve had better personal pizzas at the airport. That being said, my wife loved this place, so we’ll probably be back.

So I live in a nearby apt building and have been curious about this place every time I walk passed it. So tonight I decided to give it a shot, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I decided to play around with the custom make your own pizza, so here’s what I got: Garlic oil sauce The standard moz and provolone Bacon Italian sausage Black olives Roasted artichokes Capers Extra cheese So good.

Good to taste, lots of options to have your pizza and salad the way you want. Been there twice so far and they messed up my order once, but it was still worth it !!

I’m a fan of Fresh Pixx Pizza because I can eat my own pizza and not share. Call me greedy, but this restaurant has me down. It is so hard to order a pizza because I don’t eat me and I have to ask my friends if my half can be vegetarian. I’m therefore cheating them out of what they like. This way we all get our own personal pizza and are happy campers. I agree with others that the flavor in the sauce is kind of lacking. It is supposed to be from the same makers of Round Table, but it just doesn’t have the same kick in the sauce? I’ll keep going back here regardless, just because I can walk here from work. As for the sauce I add more pepper flakes to enhance the spiciness.

From my understanding of the concept I really wanted to like Fresh Pixx. The young people working here were very friendly and trying hard to please the patron. Alas the experience began to unravel with first sight of the raw dough. The bread/cracker template appeared to be pressed from a machine and then the preparation person rolls it with a spiked roller(so it cooks faster maybe?) and presses the dough further. She then passed it to a second preparation person to add toppings; no, not asked if I wanted any additional toppings. This person then hands a slip of paper to a third person who checked a box and handed it to me to take to the casher, wow. While paying the bill the pizza was slid into an oven for quick bake as they are very thin, which is okay under normal circumstances. You are given a number to put on your table, collect your drink from a machine, tableware, napkins, and a limited condiment selection, all of which is okay for the concept. From the table you can see the oven, the pizza was immediately brought to the table; but, did not hold the heat and was virtually cold on delivery. My guess is the plate was cold and with a pizza this thin, that did not help retain temperature. The pizza crust lacks flavor, sort of like cardboard. The appearance is nice, the staff is trying and the restaurant could not be more fresh and clean. Roundtable has some serious work to do with the pizza as it is not close to the standard of their brand name. No anchovies; really? No free Wi-Fi. The tomatoes were fresh and tasty. Suggestion: for lunch a small personal pizza, a side salad and soft drink for the price of the Margherita $ 8(one size fits all). Try it again in six months and hope the management rethinks the food to get it back to the brand.

Wow everyone is in on the make your own personal pizza craze. Didnt think Round Table was in on it too. Well theyve created a new concept where it’s pizza and salads. Theyve kept some of their classics as choices. I actually really liked their Montague’s Meat combo so i went with that as my choice. Crust is markedly different, thinner and crispier. Meats were plentiful as was the cheese. For under the $ 9 mark i got a pretty solid pizza. Somewhat unexpected. Employees were still training so things arent entirely smooth yet but theyre still cheerful. Sometimes you get a solid meal in surprising places.

Since this place is so new, I know they need to work out a few minor problems, but otherwise my food was pretty good. I love pizza places where you can get your pick of toppings, but there are many that do this so much better. The number one problem? You only get 2 toppings for $ 7.99 or 5 for $ 8.99. The best part of these build your own pizza places is that you can generally get a variety of toppings; so Fresh Pixx fails at that. If you just go about 10 minutes away, you can find MOD pizza where you can get as many toppings as you want for $ 7.87. The pizza was pretty good. I had the sweet tomato sauce which was not big of flavor, but I’d go back to maybe try one of the other flavor sauces. This place is a convenient location so I will definitely go back, but I’ll still be annoyed by the price of toppings in comparison to what I can get elsewhere!

Not roundtable, not California pizza kitchen… More of an odd step child. Good gourmet pizza made from Roundtable favorites at OK price, $ 15 for personal pizza and coke. I would come back. Maybe.
