7 Leaves. Anyone from the garden grove and westminster are has heard of this place. Their tea is top notch and tastes very refreshing. Even though they have become a rather big chain and quite popular, they still keep the price of their drinks very competitive. This loyalty to their customers keeps me coming back along with the healthy/organic feeling that drinking their tea/coffee gives you. Always a pleasure to get some tea from 7 Leaves after having a meal. Makes you feel content and complete.

This review is based on «half sugar» drinks which are actually just less sugary tasting drinks apparently cause I believe the cashier said they replace the sugar with EZ sweetz. Or so I was told. And not all drinks can be made less sweet btw! You cannot make the herbal tea, strawberry hibiscus, or sunset passion less sweet. Drink I tried less sweet: = Matcha Soy = Aw yess, still delicious as ever. I’ll probably always order this one leas sweet from now on. Still has that matcha-y goodness = Sea Cream Jasmine = So this one was a bit odd and did not taste like the original at all in my opinion. Granted, they said they use a different type of tea leaf since they fresh brew it but it tasted likeeee mayybeee… They forgot to add the EZ sweetz? I’ll have to get it again to double check if that’s how it’s supposed to taste. Also note, takes a little bit longer to prepare since it’s a different tea! And yeah, I come here A LOT lol

7 Leaves is one of my favorite places to get tea. I always get the Matcha Soy and it is AMAZING. The boba tastes great and the prices are decent. The workers are nice and it never takes too long for your drink to be ready. I’m hooked on this place and I have to stop by whenever I’m in the area. *Be sure to pick up a punch card, after ten drinks you get one free.

7 Leaves has been on my bookmarks list for a long time. I’ve been seeing check-ins from some of my reliable Unilocal friends pop up quite often and thought, «That good, eh?!?» Happened to be out that way and it was on our route, so stopping by was a must-do. Thank goodness 7 Leaves opens early(at 7am) because I wouldn’t have been able to drop by otherwise. My problem was trying to decide what to order! Decided to go with two of the most recommended drinks by my Unilocal buddies. House iced coffee & Mung Bean milk tea. First time I’ve seen Mung Bean on a menu. Figured I should try something different. I had a few questions about the sweetness of this drink and the workers were good about explaining the drink and lessened the sweetness for me. They were also great about going easy on the ice since I said that I wouldn’t be drinking these until hours later. I appreciate them having a more adult atmosphere in décor and noise level. It’s probably just me, but I’m a grouchy ol’ bat if it’s too much of a teen hangout with the music blasting. Quality-wise, thumbs up! I’ve got 4 of these other boba places within walking distance and they’re all the kind that use powder. So when I do come across a place that uses brewed natural ingredients, I can’t be happier. The House Iced Coffee– Loved it! A much lighter version of Café Sua Da. What makes it different here is having the cream layered on top. I used to be hooked on Vietnamese coffees but had to stop cold-turkey because all thar sugar & caffeine would not only sky-rocket my glucose levels but also make my eyeballs pulsate. The Mung Bean Milk Tea– Having the descriptive signage added to the appeal. Ooh, pandan! I love anything pandan-flavored. That’s what sealed the deal. Well, that and the fact that this milk tea is mentioned in reviews as a favorite. I took this one home and let it water down to dilute it a bit more. Then, added a bit more water because it still tasted(wonderfully) too sweet. Even that way, it was still delicious! I still have half a cup to enjoy tomorrow. Wish I had a 7 Leaves in my neighborhood. We do have a few natural ingredient tea bars around, but not with this kind of interesting drink menu. Too bad we’re not out in that area too often. There’s several other drinks I’ve got to try. I’ll be back when out that way!

Woooo, doggy!!! The only drink my wife likes from here is still the Mung Bean tea with boba and no ice. My new favorite is something that I should try in moderation– seriously. It’s the Vietnamese coffee. They make it with sweetened condensed milk and you can immediately tell because it is so sweet. So can my blood pressure. I have high blood pressure and it is not good for me, but it is so damn good!!! It feels so wrong, but oh so right. Maybe twice a month will do. I usually have it with very light ice. Maybe I should have it with regular ice instead. Either way, I still give 7 Leaves 5 stars for the flavors of their drinks. Plus my wife has never complained about it, so that has to work out in their favor!

This place is pretty decent. Their menu is simple and but delicious. They have a few drinks up there and it was great. I like the consistency of their boba and how smooth the drink was. They got the red mung bean milk tea which was pretty new to me and it tastes pretty good in my opinion. They also sell tea in gallons too if you guys wanna buy large quantities from them. Overall, I’ll come here again when I have the chance. Good drinks and good boba lol

The best that it gets! I’m more of a tea girl, especially when it comes to boba. And I live out of town, so when I was looking for a tea/coffee house, and found out about this place I was so excited! Of the ones I tried my favorites are #1: the Taro #2: Thai Tea #3: Sea Cream Jasmine Tea(mix the cream in before you pop the straw in) And I totally added boba pearls to all of these because I’m obsessed with them. I’m going to make it a point to stop here every time I’m in town!

When you end up loving whatever drink you get every time you go, you know it’s good. Parking is never a problem in that plaza. The ambiance is chill and I always love their holiday decorations. Somehow, I always find myself there during the holiday season, and the place just draws me in with its homey décor and delicious boba. My favorites are(basically the only ones I’ve tried): House coffee — kept me going strong during Final exams. Sea cream jasmine — the first sea cream or sea salt concoction I’ve ever had. Adds a nice smooth texture and taste to the tea. Mung bean milk tea — as a lover of viet type drinks, you can’t go wrong with this one. I wish there were one in the SGV, but until that day, I guess I’ll just be heading here every time I’m in the OC.

Second time having 7 leaves drinks, and I’m very much loving it. This time I got to sit inside the shop to enjoy my drink. I had the Sea cream black coffee: not too heavy in milk and not too sweet like the House coffee is. The shop is a decent size for those that come to do some work. They have patio seating as well. Too bad they are so far away. I would probably crave for it more if it was.

4⁄100 reviews for 2016 Hands down one of the best spots to get fresh boba! My personal favorite is the taro milk tea with boba. I love how not only is the flavor fresh, but also has some sort of bean texture in their milk tea. Another great drink is their Jasmine Milk tea. Not too sweet and also has a good floral taste to it. I love how there is wifi and a printer available for customers. Great for studying and/or getting work done. It gets a little crowded with Cypress college students just hanging out after school, but if you come earlier you can avoid it.

First time here and I got the Japanese matcha tea with boba. It was pretty good. I’m impressed with how fast the drinks were made. We Only had to wait like 3 minutes for our drinks(we ordered 4). There’s some room inside to sit down but not for a big party. There is more room outside to sit down though.(The circular metal tables and chairs that fit 4 people?) Actually after drinking it I found out that it was 70% ice. I’m really disappointed in that. I mean the drink was good just wished they didn’t put so much ice. Also, the ice are the tiny ones that can go through your boba straw.

I was yearning for coffee all day long. Luckily, this place has a dedicated coffee section that includes the house coffee, Vietnamese coffee, etc. I had the sea cream black coffee that was perfect since I was searching for something that was not too sweet or creamy. It had a strong coffee flavor, which was exactly what I needed. I tried my boyfriend’s mung bean sea cream, and it was delicious. I love the sea cream on top as it gives a foamy, tasty uniqueness to the drinks. They also sell macaroons, which I did not try this time around. A stamp card is available for regulars. This place is great for studying or hanging out with friends. There is free wifi along with plenty of plugs around to charge your devices. Around the periphery of the shop are tall bar tables and stools for individuals or couples to sit. There are also group tables located in the center of the shop. The restrooms are clean. As it is December, the place is decorated with Christmas theme and holiday music playing in the background. Love the ambience. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

Cute store with great service. Not a huge selection like other tea places, but I enjoy their strawberry hibiscus so I went with that. Done very quickly, tasty and fairly priced. They also sell the mini strawberry croissants from cream pan so stock up if you see them and save your self the drive!

I’ve had this location bookmarked for a while now and have just not gotten around to checking this place out. I tried to visit this location a couple of days ago and the parking lot was so busy and full that I decided that it wasn’t even worth it. I’m glad that I didn’t give up and this time around we had food at a Thai place in the next complex over and just walked to the location. The service was super fast and I ordered the Mung Bean Milk tea… it was delicious. But people who don’t enjoy a sweet treat as much as I do, maybe another option would be better suited. I am definitely excited to come back here and try some of the other flavors that they have available.

Really enjoy the clean location and friendly staff. If only they had more people at the register, the line could move a little faster. They do bring the drinks out quick! The matcha green tea is very good. I’d have to try the mung bean next time. Their croissant custard was delicious and macaroons are purty good! Plenty of parking in the strip mall lot. Good amount of seating, with the exception of students hanging out from Cypress College across the way.

Delicious Milk Tea’s, I am definitely a Fan. Their Tea’s are very different from what i’ve had so far with the realm of Milk Tea’s. Decent prices approximately $ 3-$ 4 bucks per drink. Mung Bean Milk Tea– Green Bean sort of tasty Milk Tea. Absolutely my favorite. Coffee Thai Tea Etc. They have Macarons $ 1.50: chocolate, butter pecan, pistachio, Rose, salted caramel, etc. Very delicious and very very sweet. Wouldn’t mind getting some once in a blue moon though because it’s so sweet and expensive at the same time. Customer Service is definitely 100% great. Everyone so far was very nice to me and helpful. Will be coming back during Work lunch time. Please keep up the great customer service!

I love this place! TEA: 5⁄5 Their tea is always good quality, no matter which drink I order. My favorites are the Jasmine sea cream and the Herbal tea. BOBA: 3⁄5 The boba is decently soft, but doesn’t have a honey/sweet flavor to it. It’s just plain boba. SERVICE: 5⁄5 The employees are always really friendly here, and the drinks come out in less than 5minutes. Overall, I recommend this place!

I mostly come here to get coffee before work. Once in awhile I’ll come to get boba. House Special Coffee: Creamy goodness! Comes with sea salt cream. I always get this if I come here in the morning before work. Vietnamese Iced Coffee: One morning I got this on accident when I was really groggy. This is really strong. Mung Bean Milk Tea: Favorite drink here when it’s not 7AM. Reminds me of Vietnamese dessert. This is super sweet, but I usually just take my time drinking it. Taro Milk Tea: Has taro chunks in it! I usually get my drinks here EZ ice. I also had the pistachio macaron here, it was okay. Parking here is not too bad in the morning, but terrible at night.

One of my favorite boba cafes. Their boba is usually on point — not too soggy, perfect chewy texture and actually has the right amount of sweetness to its flavor I got their mungbean boba — if you like soy milk, or red bean flavored, then you will like the mungbean. supposedly its one of the top-selling drinks! I’ve also tried their taro at a different location. I really did enjoy it, and I like taro in general. Coffee — really strong, also good Haven’t tried their other flavors yet. but once I do, I will let you guys know :)

I’m pretty sure I’m paying penance for something terrible I did. Otherwise, I would have tried 7 Leaves BEFORE I officially moved out of LA. I’m a little picky when it comes to my milk tea. That said, 7 Leaves is some of the best milk tea that I’ve had in SoCal. It rivals some of my favorites back home in the Bay Area. 7 Leaves excels in providing milk tea that actually tastes like tea. That, and their sea cream is heaven. A friend recommended the sea cream jasmine tea($ 3), and after taking a sip, I had to order it. The cream is actually creamy rather than frothy and has a light saltiness that mixes perfectly with the bold jasmine flavor. The jasmine avoids being overly floral while still maintaining the taste of being real tea. I get my milk tea with half sugar wherever I go. Something I found very unusual was that they use different types of jasmine tea for different levels of sweetness. I thought this was fascinating! I’ve never seen that done at any other boba shops, where they just limit the amount of syrup/sweetener that they add to the drink(and this generally works fine). The tea that they use for the less-sweet version is not only cheaper(only TWODOLLARS for a less-sweet sea cream jasmine tea!), but gave the drink an entirely different flavor. It almost tastes like a completely different drink. This isn’t a negative, but it is something to keep in mind if you love the flavor of their regular sea cream jasmine tea. I noticed on their menu that their taro milk tea is made with freshly ground taro, something you rarely see, and that they carefully detail all their drinks with descriptions of the types of tea/other ingredients. It’s great to see this level of detail and quality. The décor is clean and elegant. Lastly, but importantly, I received great service here. The girl who took my order was friendly, patient, and very helpful in explaining the difference in the variously sweetened teas we got(after we tried them and got confused if we had ordered wrong). Overall, perhaps one of the best(if not the best) options for milk tea in SoCal, matched with low prices and friendly service.
