Place was clean, atmosphere was fun and the snow cones were delicious! Will be returning and will recommend to friends.

Our visit time here and never heard about this place! We got a VIP pass for a free 12oz and decided to make the drive to this location! There’s a convenient drive thru, but since we had our whole day ahead of us I thought I’ll take the kids inside. My mistake! There was a huge party(before the store opened, which I was told later). I opted out and went drive thru! The lady was so friendly and since I told her this was my first time here, she gave me the 411 on some of their perks! I was glad to know they have a party pack for $ 50! You can bring in a cooler filled with shaved ice and scoop it out yourself for your own party! My little one is having a birthday party soon, so this is definitely where I’ll bring back my business! We got the rainbow! It was soooo good! Smooth and not chunky! Never had such good shaved ice! Highly recommend this place!!!

I called ahead to make sure of the store hours, pulled up 15 min. before closing time and employee ran across the room and pulled a table in front of the door. Open sign was lit. If you’re going to close at 10:45 then that’s what you should post not 11. had a car full of disappointment kids. We love Bahama bucks even wanted to have a franchise. But this was very disappointing.

The ice in the snowcone is nasty and tastes like its made with unfiltered water. Im not sure where the ice comes from but it leaves a nasty aftertaste. There was a weird greasy consistency in the wedding cake flavored cone and the strawberry cheesecake tasted nothing like its name. My daughter likes this place but I won’t be returning.

Weird tasting water and not as smooth as other Bahama Bucks. I would rather go to the new one on 249/Northpointe. That one makes a consistently good snowcone.

I LOVE this place. However, I was recently diagnosed with gestational diabetes so my husband took me to try the thin ice flavors tonight. Omg they are so gross!!! He got the wedding cake and I got the piña colada… It seriously tasted like I was eating lotion. It even left a greasy, oily feeling in my mouth. I think they need to take these off the menu until they figure out a way to make them better. Again, their regular flavors are awesome but if you’re needing a low sugar or healthier option, I say skip it for sure. It was very disappointing, especially when you’re 8 months pregnant and all you want is a good snow cone!!! :’( Also, I don’t recommend going on weekends unless you’ve got a lot of time to kill.

Bahama Bucks makes a superb snowball. Excellent ingredients and the ice is extremely flaky. Service can be a little slow. But use a little patience. It’s worth it. Just understand that these are generally HS kids trying to earn money while going to school. It’s nice to see a local business, that is this busy, helping these kids out. We as consumers need to understand that some of these kids dont have the self confidence that we as adults do. Give them a chance, have some patience, it will go a long way in helping these kids become better at service. The young people are super polite and lack bad attitudes. I have no skin in the game, my kids are grown up and at college. But let’s support a great local business that hires our local kids.

Really, really slow service. Every time. Whether they’re busy or not. It’s like they can’t figure out how to put ice in a cup and pour some syrup on it. I understood when they were new, but it’s been a year and they still take forever. There were 2 cars in front of us. I’ve been in line 20 minutes. I just got to the window. They forgot what I ordered! It’s so consistently irritating that this is my last time here.

Very soft ice! Turns into a slushy after you move the ice around. Great flavors and amazing service(even 5min before closing time).

Great service, sno-cone selection, awards card, and always get cream! Yummy. If you go in, they have board games and a lively group of teenagers that keep it fun. Peaches and cream or orange dreamsicle and cream my favorites.

I LOVE this place. My search is over. I moved to Cypress from Louisiana just a little over a year ago. Louisiana is the home of the snowball(snowcone/shaved ice)…just saying. I’ve been jonsing for a snowball so after doing some surfing I found BB’s information. Pro’s: 1. Perfect Ice — They have the best ice ever! It is so perfectly shaved it is like a snowflake melting on your tongue. Some snowballs are very grainy, in fact they are really a snowcone but this place nails it. 2. A bajillion flavors — Not only do they have tons of flavors, I’m a snob so when I order 50⁄50 and they poured the syrup on perfectly i was super psyched. 3. Groovy temperature sensitive spoons that change colors. It’s the little extras that make a 4 star business earn a 5th star. 4. Cream and ice cream. You can add both. I’ve always been a strict old school snowball fan. No cream or ice cream for me but if you want it they have it! 5. Open until 11:00 pm all week long! Yes, sometime I NEED a snowball at 11:00 on a Tuesday night. 6. Punch card — Buy 10 get one free. 7. Party Pack — small or large party packs. Small gets you 1 bottle of syrup, 10 cups, ice, spoons, a stainless snow scoop, a stainless pour spout and little umbrellas! Large gets you 3 bottles, 3 spouts, a scoop, 25 cups, ice and spoons. What a great idea! Con’s: 1. Drive thru window in a bad location. Causes traffic to back up rather quickly. 2. A little pricier than I am used to but I am ok with it because they truly make the best snowball I have ever had. 3. So yummy they are addictive! Obviously I could go on and on about this place. It’s so good I was torn on whether or not to write a review and share them with the world!

Great place! Although the line was super long when I got in, but moved along quickly. Many different flavors to choose from! You won’t be disappointed! I wish there were more locations!

This place wins in Houston where this will cool you down from the hundred degree temps! Wow pretty surprised about this place. WE loved coming in and choosing from the different flavors they have to choose from. Our only beef with this place is that it seems to be unclean every time we come in. the tables, chairs and floors seem to be always sticky. We could have bad timing and kids could have just spilled their sno-cone and then smeared it every where we dont know.

Best Sno-cones ever. However, they have the worst and slowest service on the planet.

Love their snow cones, but ran by «ADD» kids that can’t focus enough to get your order right. That place would be best in town if they had a manager over the age of twelve!

Snow in a Cup! So you want to go overboard with a zillion flavor choices from Sweet Tart to Cherry, Pickle to Sour Pink Lemonade, Coconut Cream Pie to Wedding Cake; then Bahama Buck’s is your place. They shave their specially frozen ice(it looks that way from across the counter) into a fine snow like consistency. It’s so «snowy» that they actually sell snowballs to-go.This is a great base to saturate with the sweet, colorful mixture of your choice(I’m boring and just go with the pink lemonade). Be prepared for the line! Everyone mentioned it for a reason(and the staff seems to be moving as quickly as they can — for teenagers). You may have come here on a whim, but it takes a commitment to get your frozen treat. My Tips for You: 1. Order smaller than you want. It’s plenty. 2. Grab plenty of napkins. 3. I don’t see the point of doing half flavors(it’s all the same at the bottom of the cup) 4. Ask if they can go light on the syrup(unless you’re a bee) 5. Inside the Loop, go to Yeti Sunshine for a simple, gourmet snow cone

When I lived in a small town in Louisiana a few years ago there was a shaved ice place that put cream on top… I’ve never found another place since — until now! So many flavors to choose from and I love that they have sugar free. My 3 year old does not need any extra energy, believe me. They also have games inside that you can play at your table, which is a nice extra touch. The ONLY downside is the line. Ha! It always to the door when we arrive… sometimes it goes OUT the door. We keep going back though, so it must not be too bad. I say go, just be prepared to wait. Maybe you can make the person who lost ‘rock, paper, scissor’ stand in line while you grab a table with the other member sof your party and get your game play on.

The shaved ice is great! It does get pretty busy at night, so expect to wait for a bit.

Shaved ice, smoothies, etc. I admittedly don’t have a broad range of experience with shaved ice places(I had a sheltered childhood), but the differentiating feature at Buck’s is not the number of flavors(which is huge), but the fact that they are not horrifyingly sweet. You can enjoy a decent size portion of a shaved ice treat without feeling like you’re downing Imperial sugar packets. Speaking of size, a small at Buck’s is more than enough for me, even on a hot Texas day(but far be it from me to limit your freedom of choice). Warning — on our visit, this place was absolutely mobbed at 8:30 pm, with at least 10 cars lined up in the drive-thru. They also have a «Thin Ice» variation using stevia — 0 calories. It’s more than a little icier than the sugared-up version, but was still good(for those of you trying to be good, but still going to a place like Bahama Buck’s).
