Came in for lunch(4of us) there was maybe 20 ppl in the restaurant. We were seated very quick, I ordered my son’s meal first he is 4. 20mins later the waitress came over and apologized. 10 mins later we got our food and it was cold! The manager came over and said«the to go area is really busy, sorry!» The Manager gave us our bill and said«I took $ 5 off.»

Stopped by for dinner with the family(4 of us) Saturday night at 6:30. The service was bad but the wait time was the worse. People were getting up and leaving because they weren’t getting served. We didn’t get out of there till 8:30. Why jam people in to seats when you can’t even feed the people that are waiting? To end the meal the waiter walked away and made me wait to pay the bill! I will NOT be going back there!

I haven’t been to Chili’s in a while and decided to drop in for lunch. Their menu certainly looked better and I was looking forward to seeing a new and improved Chili’s. The plate my coffee was served on was dirty; perhaps an appetizer plate that still had what looked like guacamole and cheese residue… honestly not sure what it was but it never ceases to amaze me how restaurants overlook dirty serving plates or utensils… not cool. We tried the $ 20 Dinner for Two which comes with two entrees and an appetizer. The Chips and Guacamole appetizer contained real pieces of avocado and not a cheap concoction of blended avocado, water, and powder. Not to mention the chips were light and tasty. We had Baby Back Ribs and Chicken Crispers for entrees and they were okay; the accompanying fries and corn contained a ton of salt so don’t be surprised if you only want to eat a few. Their taste isn’t bad but the salt will get to you. Overall I’d say Chili’s was a 4-star for kids and 2-star for adults. The food isn’t bad but it’s nothing to write home about either. The reason I suspect most people go here is convenience and value; they have a wide variety of American food choices at a reasonable price.

I came here with some friends and family and had a great time. Ryan was our waiter and went above and beyond for any needs we had. The Cajun Pasta with seared shrimp was delicious and i had a side of macaroni as well which i also enjoyed. For dessert i ordered the molten lava cake and to my suprise was ALOT larger then i thought! Didn’t want to admit it was too big so i just ate the whole thing which i am currently regretting as the seams on my jeans are about to burst. Lots of big screen T.V.‘s everywhere and they will be more than happy to change the channel to any game you want to watch which was very nice. Overall had a great time with my friends and family and had the pleasure of having Ryan as our waiter.

It’s part of a major chain so the food is generally consistent and the prices are reasonable, the only area that they can really stand out in in service and while our waitress did not neglect us there was nothing that put her over the top either. Had the chicken enchilada soup and some boneless wings, portion sizes were good value for the money and they tasted as expected, nothing disappointing but nothing that stood out and would require me to return for lunch every day for the rest of the week and nothing that would preclude another visit. Solid 3 stars.

This location treated us like thieves… we were given a gift card for xmas and used it this past Saturday for lunch. Food and service was average at best. When the check came, we tried to use the card on the tablet, it would not scan. The waitress took the card toi try to run it. A few minutes later, a lady comes back(I later found out her name was Jackie and she is an asst manger) and says your card isn’t activated. We are stunned and she says«you need to call the 1800 number on the back». I give her my debit card and she walks off. A few minutes later, some random waitress we never saw drops my card, a pen and the receipt on the table without a word. We signed it and left. Totally rude and treated us like criminals, like we were trying to get over. Found out the gift card wasn“t activated at the location it was bought from and it is being corrected. I spoke to a different am and she said the general manager would call me but that has yet to occur and two hang ups on Brinker’s guest relations later, here we are. In summation; over-priced average food with at best average service combined with a bunch of jerks makes this a place to avoid. Oh and merry christmas, Jackie… you’re a real jerk.

I need to start this with-I will not eat here and have not for a few years. I have just eaten at the Glendora location and what a difference. They actually had someone to serve you. My friend went to eat at Chili’s(told her before not to) yesterday. They arrived at 11:15. There was NOONE there. There was no one to greet you either. After more than 5 min of standing in the entrance-the bartender asked them if they were there to eat. She went and got a very grumpy person from the back to seat them. Now it has been over 15 min. After another 15 min(without a howdy do from any employees) they got up and left. No one probably noticed. I feel that this location is probably on their«to close soon» list. Should just shut the doors now. Too bad because my husband and I have liked this restaurant for years. My friends ended up at Taco Surf. Great food and customer service there.

Food was good service not so good. Our entrée was brought out maybe 5 min after or appetizer. So that was a waste of money then to get a drink refill.. for get it! Guy walked by our table 4 times before we had to ask for a refill.

Very slow service, on refills with water, cokes! To keep price down, they served smaller portions of French fries, no extra to share, it looks like a children size order! I Order the dip and chips, cut that in almost half what they use to serve! I rather pay extra and get the same amount in the past! Order the chicken Tacos and very small amount of chicken? You have to order 3 tacos to make one taco! So you don’t leave hungry! The floors were dirty, under most of the tables! They brought my order and my son had to wait 7mins to get his! Since he was very hungry, share my food! Next time I am in town, I rather eat some where else!

I was a bit disappointed today when I tried the Sweet & Smoky Burger for dinner. From the looks of the photo, it seemed it was going to be tasty and juicy and full of delicious sauce. It totally wasn’t. The photo was rather deceiving. It was somewhat dry and not filling at all. Customer service was decent and the wait wasn’t too bad for a Sunday evening.

What happened to this place? Having grown up in Cypress, I’ve patronized this Chili’s more times than I remember. It was always the place for fellow Cypressians(?) to go to after little league games or a tough day at work. I still believe that the Awesome Blossom was what drew the people in, but regardless, the people came, and business was good. Now what we’re left with is a poorly managed establishment that appears to be slowly but surely circling the drain. Our visit last night started with a 45 minute wait, despite the fact that half the restaurant was empty. The side that was being used had tables that remained unbussed for 15 minutes or more. It was clear that there was an understaffing issue causing these delays. After receiving our orders(which took another 20 minutes) the food was just average. It was apparent that they had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while, as there was a noticeable crust around the edges where the food had dried out. My ‘top-shelf’ Jalapeño BBQ Chicken Enchiladas weren’t bad, but the flavors just didn’t work together, despite being a simple dish — just BBQ chicken wrapped in tortillas, covered in cream sauce, with some pickled jalapeños plopped on top. Certainly not something I would go out of my way to order again. A small anecdote that occurred during our extended wait, a group of 12 – 15 thirsty patrons from a local business came in hoping for some drinks. The bar area was fully occupied and there would have been a huge wait to accommodate them in the restaurant. One of the customers asks the host if there were any way they could utilize the closed section of the restaurant, to which the host replies, «I’m sorry, my manager didn’t approve me to open that side.» And so, $ 200 – 300 worth of cocktail sales just shuffled right back out the door. If I were the bartender, I would have been livid. This is a great example of the poor management this location has to endure. Overall, we were disappointed enough that we probably won’t be coming back. Our server, Ryan, was the only positive that prevented me from scoring this place one star. Sad to see a once great local spot crash and burn.

I went to this location for dinner tonight and I won’t be coming back. I had great service up until the point I received my fried pickles with a hair on it. They sent out new ones, but after that service never got better. I waited till pretty much everyone at my table had gotten their food and finished till I received my meal. That was comped as well and I noticed that a lot of tables were getting comped meals which is great that the restaurant is fixing their mistakes, but why are they making so many mistakes! And the funny thing was as I left the server asked if i was mad. Why would I be mad at crappy service? I was disappointed in that service. Chili’s cypress location needs to regroup on customer service FYI my chicken tacos I waited the whole meal for, tasted like chicken from a bag out of the freeze.

I was very underwhelmed coming here. I was hoping to reserve my first one-star review for our property manager, but don’t worry– that’s for another day. Meanwhile… The staff was friendly– I’ll give them that. They greeted us in a friendly manner; they seated us right away. We noticed that there were tablets on the tables that allow you to re-order drinks, refills, etc. They also allow you to play games for 99 cents a pop. I don’t know how many games our son played, but there HAS to be some kind of filter they need to put on there if someone opens an app by accident, or if they decide they do not want to play it. Kind of a shady way of getting more money if you ask me. Our food– Since my wife is a vegetarian, there really is not a whole lot that is offered for her to eat except a chunk of lettuce and some cheese quesadillas. THAT’S ABOUTIT!!! The server didn’t seem too apologetic about not having a bigger vegetarian fare. She did order a salad which she didn’t think was too bad. She also ordered a three berry margarita which was decent. She also ordered the fried pickles, which for the price, could have been a much bigger portion. My order was jacked up when it came back. I ordered a pineapple and blueberry margarita which was drowned in ice. I ordered the chicken and shrimp fajitas which when it came to my table had magically turned to chicken and steak. I didn’t know shrimp was that talented. The server did apologize and took the fajitas back. When I got my food back almost 20 minutes later, the manager offered a free dessert. I said no thank you, but they were nice and still gave it to us. I sensed that they could see and feel my frustration since I really did not make any eye contact with any of them. I was just really hungry and wanted my food. My family was pretty much done with their dinners when I got mine. Forget this Chili’s. I will go somewhere else!!!

Im not sure why I come back exept for a laugh. Every time something goes wrong. Maybe since we had a gift card we would give it a try. As always service is hit and miss. I find the best service and the least mistakes are made at the bar. Every visit in the dining room has been unnpleasant for us from mistakes in our order, glass in our food and undercooked burgers despite asking for them well done. Tonight service was a little slow and unattentive and our food was lukewarm. I prefer my loaded mashed potatoes hot. As for desert we ordered the new peanut butter molted cake and the guy brings out the PB cookie 10 minutes later. FAIL, AGAIN. All we could do was laugh and just eat it. We were tired and wanted to go home.
