This place is our family favorite. The rolls are the perfect size with the perfect proportion of rice to other ingredients. The fish is really fresh, and the sauces and cooked rolls are super yummy too. Prices are typical. We go here for every mother and father’s day!

All around not the greatest experience going out to eat. First off the table were sticky and need to be cleaned. But, that didn’t really bother me too much. The service was below par. We were handed menus and were really explained how the AYCE works, but that is ok too. The other problem was that we didn’t have a pen to fill out the paper. It just keeps getting better. Ordered the salmon skin roll which was terrible. Over cooked to the point that it was burnt taste. At this point I was just ready to leave and cut my losses.

Great all you can eat deal! I got here about once a month and it is only $ 25 for all you can eat. They have about 25 rolls to choose from, 10 or 12 sashimi choices, along with appetizers to choose from for the all you can eat. Wish there happy hour was not so late because they have some great deals on booze for happy hour as well.

Hepatitis A !!! WARNING !!! I received the virus here. They changed the business name. I just want everyone to know I almost DIED!!! Not a joke or fake review. I traced the virus back to this place. The health department was notified. Please be careful here. Not sure if it was a sick cook or CONTAMINATEDSHRIMP. I was in Laughlin NV on vacation when the effect took shape. I was so sick I had to drive home by myself and almost passed out on the drive. Then I got home and rested for many days. Could not eat and could not drink much. I didn’t eat for six days and decided to go the hospital. They diagnosed me instantly. Hep A… I was in the hospital for a week and out of work for 2 months. The long term effects have plagued me for the rest of my life. PLEASEBEADVISED. Thank you for reading.

So. We roll in. Party of 8 on a Tuesday. Our regular sushi joint had turned us away(rudely). I order an Amber Asahi. DERRICKISTHEBESTSERVEREVER. The food was OUTSTANDING. The rolls were made with care and everything tasted wonderful!!! There’s something about the spicy tuna and the peppered albacore that just set it off. The baked scallop and lobster. Can’t forget the Jalapeño bombs. I can’t say enough. We’ve eaten here before and I am not sure why I stopped. However, I won’t make that mistake again! Ladies the bathrooms are clean.

Ate here on Mother’s Day around opening time. Service: great service, very attentive and cleaned up our trash and dirty dishes right away. Price: AYCE for about $ 20 for lunch was worth it. The Happy hour menu was a pretty good deal to ranging around $ 2 – 7 for items I think. Food: there’s a good selection on the AYCE menu which included miso soup, Edamame, tempura and more. Some good rolls I liked were«Jessica», «baked scallop» and«baked lobster» oh and the soft shell crab! The rolls were yummy and didn’t have too much rice-which made it kinda hard to hold w the chopsticks but I prefer it than having more rice! Cleanliness: the place seemed super clean. I could smell the soap haha. I didn’t check out the restroom. Was greeted on our way in and out. Would definitely come back and can’t wait !

Positives: This sushi bar is not your normal commercialized bar. It is a family owned business where the chefs love customers. AYCE Sushi Bars are hard to come by and good ones are harder. This sushi bar is great because the chef love their craft, they are willing to converse with their customers, and this environment is designed to be social. The AYCE option is just right for most. The chefs have never hassled me for ordering 10 rolls, and have never told me that«I have to leave» like Sake to Me sushi did. The waiters are also a very social people. A wise chef once told me a happy chef makes for a happy lunch and that is exactly what these chefs live by. Negative: This sushi bar does not open up at 10:00AM on Thursdays, but that is me being nit picky.

AYCE sushi?! Whoo! Affordable! YEAH! Friendly Service? You bet! I’ve been here plenty of times as of late, and I have never had a terrible experience. The first time I was introduced to this place, there were three of us. My brother, my cousin and I wanted to eat some sushi. We were torn on where to go, so we opted to have all you can eat sushi, and have our share of a little bit of everything. Needless to say, our expectations weren’t high because it’s AYCE sushi… how many 5 star AYCE can you name? We enjoyed the service, the food, and the atmosphere. A small, almost seemingly«mom and pop» shop, however provides the customer service force of a full fledged restaurant. Always welcomed with a smile and friendly greeting. The Green mussels are to die for! Service was very consistent, making sure we had everything we wanted. The second time I came here, I had a party of about 15. They accommodated us with no complaints. They were happy with the business, and we were happy with the food and service. Although the time it took for the food to come out was a bit delayed, we weren’t going to blame them. A packed restaurant, on top of our 16 people table. The food came out delicious nonetheless. They even look out for us making sure we didn’t order too much! They’ve been in this business a long time, and for my third round I ordered more than I can handle, and they knew that. So they brought out half our order first(asking us what we wanted first) and gave us a chance to make sure we didn’t leave any left overs. Some say this is not how an AYCE place should operate, but I say this is perfect. I was stuffed and we had plenty left over, which we had to force ourselves to eat. Every so often I come here to enjoy good sushi, good atmosphere and good customer service. What more can you ask for in a restaurant? I don’t come here expecting the royal treatment. I guess I’m just easy going. For people looking to check this place out, give it a shot! You might not have the same perspective as me, but then again, everyone has different experiences. I like consistency and every time I come here, I am not disappointed.

My family visited this place for the third time. The past visit was about a year ago. Today’s service was not that great. We had all-you– can-eat sushi and the ordered took forever to come. They even brought us same roll orders twice so the wait time was longer to get it right. The waitress seemed nice but she made sure we finished our food before taking the plates. She even comment that we didn’t finish the last piece of chicken teriyaki. Oh my… We felt uncomfortable since we felt she was checking on us. The worst part was that now they dipped soy sauce on all of the nigiri orders which my husband and I realized after having the second plate. The soy sauce wasn’t strong as the one in the table was was definitely soy sauce. We literally lift all the nigiris up to see if they were dipped on soy sauce and yes they were. After we came back home, we had several cups of water.

Not all that pleased with our visit here. We had the all you can eat sushi. When we first arrived the place was almost full, service was great, food arrived quickly. It was plentiful, but seemed to all taste the same, with not a lot of flavour. On our second round of the all you can eat, we put our order in, and waited, and waited, and waited… then waited a bit longer. By this time the restaurant was about 20% occupied, so would have thought the food wouldn’t have taken as long.(Only 2 of us) After waiting over 30 minutes, we needed to leave, so went to the cashier and explained that we wanted our check please, we were tired of waiting for our second round and had to leave. She was very apologetic and said people had been complaining about that a lot tonight. We usually go to Kampai Sushi, but thought we would give Juns a try. Never again.

All you can eat sushi! What’s not to like about unlimited sushi? I’m from LA so I always feel like it’s a great, but among the four or five places I’ve been this is my favorite. First off the service is impeccable. They check on you regularly and they’re also intuitive. Example: the lady sitting next to us to was fanning herself and the sushi chef told the server to turn on the A/C. They’re overall very friendly and don’t make you feel like a fat pig when you’re ordering ten pieces of salmon. The quality of the sushi is also really good. Their shrimp sushi, which I usually never order, is actually made from fresh shrimp that they cook themselves. It actually tastes like shrimp. Their salmon is cut nice and thick so you can taste the buttery goodness. Their rolls are really good and not rice heavy just to get you full. We sat with Kevin at the sushi bar who was not just attentive and friendly, by also works like a machine. Overall always a good experience here. Try coming on Monday Friday or Saturday when Kevin works!

My husband and I have been driving passed this place for 8 years now and have finally given it a try… We’re so happy we did and it was stupid of us to wait so long to get in here. Everything is so fresh, we’re obsessed. Don’t get me wrong, I still love Fuji sushi, but I’ve forgotten how great a traditional sushi place is where you have to order what you want. We didn’t walk out feeling like stuffed pigs. The gentlemen behind the sushi bar that was serving us yesterday(12.13.15) around noon was such a pleasure to talk to, it was great. The atmosphere is great, the people that work here are even better. We loved it all and cannot wait to come back. I have a feeling I’ll be here another 2 times this week alone. I have 8 years of amazing sushi to catch up on.

I’m always on the look out for a good Japanese restaurant. I’m torn with with this review. I went twice. Once to pick up dinner and another time to dine in for lunch. Two separate experience. Dinner(take out) was good, not great(4 Stars) in my book. We got: Monkey Brains — Tempura fried mushrooms with California roll filling(fake crab) in it and drizzled with a spicy mayo sauce. This was really good. Crunchy outside and the mushrooms where perfect inside. Yum Yum Salmon Kama — Broiled Salmon Collar was good as well. The size was very generous and the meat was just super tasty(I love the gelatinous parts, lol) Yum, get this one. Sashimi Salad — The fish was good and they put a lot of it in the salad. The dressing was definitely on point. I would get this next time as well. Shrimp Tempura Udon — The broth was just okay. Udon was good and the shrimp was on point. I like that they took heed of my request to separate the shrimp tempura from the broth, that was appreciated. My son love a crispy tempura, not a soggy mess. hahaha. For lunch, we first had the idea of getting the AYCE lunch. But we were not too hungry and settled for the Lunch Combo. Maybe that was the problem, we should have stuck to our original plan. lol(3 Stars at best) Salmon Teriyaki & Sashimi — The teriyaki salmon was just okay, smaller than what I anticipated, but okay. The sashimi(salmon & tuna) was fresh, but like the teriyaki salmon, smaller than what I anticipated. The combo came with rice and some tempura veggies, just okay as well. Pork Cutlet & Sushi — The pork cutlet was a disappointment. Thin and lacking in flavor IMO. the sushi(salmon, tuna and shrimp) was okay, nothing to write home about. Don’t get this one. Price wise, the lunch combo’s were very reasonable and the dinner entrees were priced fairly. Service was friendly and cordial. The take out food, got us to go a second time. But the lunch combos were a miss for me. I might have to come back and try the AYCE sushi and do an amended review afterwards, but for now 3 ½ stars(with room for improvement) 2015 Review #123

Unilocal Challenge 2015. 178⁄365. *updated* *sing along* Sake me out to Juns Sushi Sake me out to the bar Buy some rolls and Teriyaki I dont care if I ever get Fat For its eat, eat, eat At the sushi bar If you don’t get full it’s a shame For 2, 2, $ 2.00 A pint of Kirin At Juns Su-shi — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — For years this has been our go-to AYCE sushi joint, where they know us by name. Located at Knott and Katella where the cities of Stanton and Cypress meet. Over the years we have seen them only get better. For about $ 25.00 you get AYCE sushi with a few kitchen items. Lots of choices on the AYCE menu to please everyone. In this pocket of Orange County, this has to be the best place for your fix. Service and food has been consistent for us the last couple of years. I always order the Teriyaki beef plate with miso soup, salad, washed down with a pint of $ 2.00 Kirin. Service for us has always been great from a party of 2 to a party of 20. I am sure with us being regular customers, we are treated above and beyond. The hubsters is often treated to chef’s choice selections. I have also been treated to some amazing garlic edamame, cucumber salad and desert tempura. They really know how to please the regulars. We are lifetime fans. *updated review* #668
