This has become one of my favorite restaurant. Last Sunday, 12 of us went there for a family dinner. Antonia, our server, was superb and Christian, a helper, went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. I think we all ordered something different and it was, as usual, outstanding. We stayed for probably 2 ½ hours but were never made to feel they wanted us to leave. Can’t wait to go back.

We went to Marvinos for my mother’s birthday and we loved it. The service was great. Our waiter was super attentive, and patiently answering all the thousands of questions my family kept asking(If you knew them, you’d understand how it can be irritating). The food was great. I had the chicken marsala and it was delicious, plus the portions were pretty big. It wasn’t bland like some other restaurants, and the rest of my family loved their meals. Dessert was even better and they have a lot of great choices.

We ate there NYE, my husband ordered the filet… it was grisly and not edible. We also ordered the cheese plate and it looked like they unwrapped snack cheese and put it on a plate. Really disappointed, beautiful restaurant inside, food just doesn’t match!

Went for Mothers Day lunch. As expected was very busy, but this did not in anyway effect service or the quality of the food, We all had excellent meal and it made wife and Mother in law’s day extra special. Great Job !!

We waited till all the kinks were worked out with opening a new restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. We had heard a couple negatives but we like to make up our own mind. It was awesome. We had a great server Alex and he answered all our questions and gave recommendations… we liked that. Our drinks were constantly refilled and plates were taken quickly as we finished. I saw several plates of fettuccini on the tables so I took that as a favorite for this place. It did not disappoint. He got the veal cannelloni and just raved about it. Would also have loved to seen manicotti on the menu, just a thought. Great atmosphere, inside and outside dining and courteous staff. Manager was on top of checking the areas and assessing needs. Makes a difference. We will definitely be back.

We had came to outlets and found this place on way home. Fantastic service, great food and the atmosphere was awesome. We would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely come back when in this area again. Again I cannot speak highly enough of the workers, from the manager down to the bus staff. All so friendly and outgoing.

Ordered to-go lasagna, pizza, salad and eggplant. Staff was super friendly. Lady on the phone told me to pull around back for to-go and enter the door. No issues picking up food. Several people passing by to-go counter asked if I had been helped, which should be customary, but isn’t at most restaurants. They showed me my food before paying to ensure my order was correct. The tomato sauce is delicious. We enjoyed everything and had plenty of leftovers I was able to enjoy at work the next day. Can’t wait to dine in! The atmosphere is very pretty. Painted ceilings and low lighting= romantic feeling. Thumbs up!

The appetizers were delicious!!! However, the main course was lousy. The rice for the risotto was over cooked and very low on salt. Regarding service, it was excelent. Overall its a good place for drinks and appetizers.

WOOOOOOWEEEEEEE zowweeee!!! Holy tastbuds batman. love love love this place. The staff was Extremely attentive and polite. We sat on the patio net to the fountain with a breathtaking sunset. Ok ok now for the delectable food review. . We had the lump crab risotto, the stake and, duck mushroom ravioli… First for the RISOTTO.. which was melt in your mouth delish. Cooked to perfection, with crunchy zucchini with gave it a dimension of texture that was out of this world. The stake at around $ 20 was a steal in my opinion. Came with roasted potatoes green beans marinated onions which danced in my mouth. Now for the duck ravioli. Wow flavors that are almost undescribable. They had roasted sweet red peppers just a few to give it a salty sweet flavor and the cream sauce was phenomena. Was a little hesitant on the duck because you have to cook duck Just right to be delicious. They indeed knocked it out of the park! Now for dessert bread pudding cappuccinos all around. Melt in your mouth perfectly prepared gooey goodness. I was also impressed with the cappuccino. Some places say they have cappuccinos but as it comes out a frothy wobbly mess. Not here. Real deal cap. If your looking for romance, a party, family meal, or just a work function. I w would highly recommend this establishment. Not often do I give the full 5 stars they fully deserve it. Can’t wait to go back! :)

We were going to go to cheddars and my son kept begging for pizza and I had told him tough luck. However when we drove into the parking lot we saw an Italian restaurant and we thought we would appease his requests. This is a fairly new restaurant has not been here very long, everything was very clean and the wait staff was very nice. Even our wait staff was new because they were still learning the menu, but our waiter did his best to answer our questions and find out the answer even if he didn’t know it. Now to the problems I have with this place. My son is 6 years old when we walked in and told the hostess party of three there was a manager that had walked up and told her to put us in a certain room, it didn’t make much sense to me then and I can’t remember the name of the room that he said, but he did direct her to put us in a certain place. When we walked into this part of the restaurant I noticed that every single table in the room had children probably five years old and younger. Three of the tables had infants and they are the reason I noticed this… because two of the babies were screaming and crying. So immediately when we sat down I felt we were being segregated but I wasn’t sure until I got up and went to use the restroom and looked around the restaurant and saw that there were no kids sitting anywhere else in the restaurant except for where we were sitting. So if you are bringing your children here be prepared to be sat in a room with other families have young children. Next as my wife and I were talking I was looking at her and noticing that it was a bit hard to see her while we talked and I made the comment«it is pretty dark in here, I can hardly see you». We had a little laugh about it and that was that. It was funny though to see other people who got sat in our section pulling out their phones and turning on the flashlight in order to be able to read the menu. So a tip for them might be to turn the lights just a little brighter. The food was great I will say that it did seem a little pricey but hey $ 20 for some seafood pasta is about the going rate give or take a few bucks. It did seem like the shrimp in my pasta was a little bit overcooked, the shrimp were rubbery. The taste was good and we enjoyed ourselves. We probably will go back just not with our children.

nice new option for italian. Been a while since we tried it. We did enjoy it. it is better than an olive garden but not quite gourmet. we will go back and try again and I will review it again.

We came here for an early Christmas dinner with my parents. We tried to find somewhere half was for both of us, so I got on my trusty Unilocal app and found this place. So we thought we’d give it a try. It was a Saturday night at 6:30PM and we had a party of 5. They DONOT take reservations, so I was worried we’d have to wait. Lucky us we were actually seated right away! Our server Tiffany greeted us right away with a friendly smile and I found her to be very knowledgeable about the menu. She even handled my ‘hard to handle’ father quite well! Good job lady — you just made this a 4 star review vs. a 3 star! The manager(didn’t catch his name) was also very nice and stopped in several times to check on things. As far as food goes, it comes out quick! They bring you some amazing warm crusty bread to start with yummy herbed olive oil. It’s kinda of addicting, so watch out. We got our calamari before ever even ordering our meals! It was pretty dang good too. It was crispy, well seasoned and just the right consistency(not chewy at all). For dinner I opted for the Linguine with clams. The pasta was cooked well, but I wasn’t blown away by this dish. I like my dad’s Linguine Fruiti Di Mare a lot more and was wishing I had gotten that instead. It had a ton more flavor for sure, but the pasta was a bit overcooked for my taste. And my step-mom’s Eggplant Parmesan was decent too. My man wasn’t impressed with his ravioli, but I didn’t get a chance to sample that. Our crème brûlée was great — really nice crisp top and good vanilla profile! Now here’s the thing to remember and think about. If you order a HALF size, you do NOT get a salad. Sure you can order a side salad for $ 4.00 more or you can just spend about the same for a full order, take some home and still get your salad. *I was super happy Tiffany and I discussed this* The full order wasn’t huge by any means, just so you know, but I did have a small amount to take home. So overall not bad. I’d give it more of a 3 star experience for food, but we did have great service, and for that alone over the food, I’ll give it 4 stars. Yup management — I suggest you keep Tiffany around.

We have been twice and this place is fantastic. Starting with bread and oil, we found it to be awesome! There radio of herb toil was about 50⁄50 and the herb mix was notably good. From there we move to the calamari. Crispy yet tender, it was coupled with a very nice marinara. If there was a fault, it is just that I prefer more spice to marinara. That said, it was delicious. The salad was next. Fresh and cold with a great balsamic dressing, it was happily devoured! Lastly, the Lasagna. It was close to perfection. Fresh, cheesy, flavorful and wonderful. The service is very attentive and the atmosphere is slightly upscale while remain both romantic and family friendly.(For older children) We are thrilled to have Marvino’s in the area. Give it a shot. Five stars!!!

I’ve been here 3 times now and I am not sure why I keep coming back. Im perplexed. In the three times I’ve been I have waited excessively long times to be seated, had mediocre food, and horrible desserts. Yet I’m the fool who keeps coming back. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Decorated and staged well. Nice big bar in the middle. I can’t comment on the drinks as I haven’t really had them yet. But their house cab is good. Their menu is nice sized but like I said, I have yet to be wowed by their food. It’s either under or over seasoned. Pasta is over cooked. Just man I am not sure why I keep going. I’m so frustrated with myself. I can’t recommend it. Go at your own risk, but know there are better Italian food choices. Oh avoid their tart at all costs. It’s dry, poorly sweetened, and is about 2 minutes away from being an nhl certified hockey puck. As a goaltender, I know my pucks and this could be a viable substitution.

I decided to give this place a try after realizing I have yet to experience Marvino’s. It was about 1:30ish when I arrives and thought the lunch special had ended which actually didn’t end until 3. The place is spacious & beautiful. I love the outside lighting and how it reflects inside. The bar area in the middle is also a nice view as you can watch sporting events on their many TVs. I ordered from the lunch menu the chicken lasagna. I’ve never had chicken lasagna but thought I would try it. The food came out super fast and was hot! I tasted it and wasn’t impressed. The texture was pasted in cheddar cheese. I’m used to ground beef but the taste and flavor of this recipe was not a favorite. I kindly told the waiter and asked if I could substitute it for the spaghetti. He said that was fine. The manager walked over, I again explained how I didn’t care for it and he said that I could order something else. Please note, I used to work in the restaurant industry and no matter how much I didn’t like something I would never send it back, in fear of what I may receive next but these guys were very nice about it and said it wouldn’t be a problem. The spaghetti was amazing! Hot, fresh and with a kick of spice. The customer service was A+. Can’t remember the guys name but the waiter was very attentive and was even entertaining while showing the dessert selections. The way he was selling, you would think a bonus is included lol I did order some bread pudding to-go and boy oh boy, it was good! A little too sweet but moist & yummy. I’ll definitely return here.

The overall experience was great! For a party of two at 8:00 pm on a Saturday the wait was 20 minutes, which we found reasonable. Once seated we were great by a very up beat friendly waiter, Chad, who told us the specials and answered any questions we could think of. They have an expansive menu with a great selection for any potentially picky diners. We started with the broccoli Parmesan soup, which was to die for good. Not too salty or heavy. For entrees we had the linguine fruiti di mare(forgive any potential misspellings) and the duck and shiitake mushroom ravioli. The linguine was perfectly cooked and loaded with shrimp, crawfish tails, calamari, muscles, and clams. The ravioli was al dente in a sweet sauce topped with way more mushrooms than you would expect. Everything is priced appropriately especially for the amount of quality food you get. We can’t wait to go back! i

So I was heading to one of my regular lunch stops, and saw that Marvinos is now open so I decided to try it. Walking in, the atmosphere is warm and a little classier than the steakhouse next door. Once sat, my very friendly server Jasmine was greeting me and taking my drink order as she passed by to drop off the food at the next table. I perused the menu, noting both the prices and varieties. I was glad they had a lunch menu to offer. I’m not a seafood eater, but I was impressed by their seafood selections. When Jasmine returned, she reviewed the menu with me. I always ask the server what their favorite things are, and love it when they give their actual opinions(instead of saying they’ve never tried anything or «it depends on what you want»). Jasmine shared one of her favorites is Chicken Nona, and so I ordered it, with the soup of the day, which was tomato basil. The tomato basil soup looked delicious when it arrived. However it was not hot, merely warm, and that is not a good way to eat tomato soup. It had a nice creamy texture, but it was much sweeter than it needed to be. I’d give it a C-. Then the chicken arrived. It looked good. The plate was hot. It was a plump chicken breast on a pile of risotto and spinach. But the thing is, the chicken was bland. The sauce and risotto were tasty. But the chicken was… tasteless. It didn’t disgust me. It just didn’t delight me. I give it a C. The meal itself was meh. But Jasmine and the staff were extremely diligent, friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere relaxing(and potentially romantic). The staff alone get an A+! I may try it once more for dinner, but the food has to improve if I’m going to pay that kind of money for lunch or dinner. I do know I’ll stop in for a drink at the bar, just for the environment and friendly folks. Jasmine told me happy hour is from 11 to 6! Overall dining experience: B–

Very new restaurant. It looks very nice on the outside and exquisite on the inside. Our waitress was polite and nice but was not familiar with the menu and got confused at times, particularly with the beverage order. My guess is she is new to the restaurant industry. For the bread and oil dip, no plates were served to us. We used the white cloth napkins as a plate. One of the managers served our entrees. He did a far better job than our waitress ever could. I ordered the Gulf Red snapper dish and it was pretty good. Enjoyed it and cleared the plate. My criticism is the spinach needed more flavor(add some spice) and the shrimp was overcooked and not fresh at all. It had a fishy taste(FRESH shrimp should not have a fishy smell or taste). I also had the house salad(without olives), which wasn’t bad. They have a dessert cart and it looks VERY tempting. I think we got a slice of the chocolate cake(it was someone’s birthday we were celebrating) and boy o boy… that is one of the best cakes that has entered my mouth. Just the right amount of sugar. It took forever for our waiter to come back with our bill. Even after handing the bill to us, she never came back. I had to go to her. Would I come back again? Nah. There was no wow-factor. Only if I can get another piece of that rich chocolatey cake and the recipe!!!

My wife and I went on a Sunday around 11:30a.m., just before the church crowd started to roll in. The place is beautiful. The décor and setup is exactly how i would want my house to be with travertine tile and dark stained wood trim. We were seated promptly and our drink order was taken immediately. Our service was very good and on point the entire visit and the manager checked on us twice cracking small jokes. Our food wasnt too bad, but not any better than Olive Garden especially for the price. I took one star away because of the price and another star away because of the bread. Im the kind of guy that judges the mexican restaurants almost solely on their chips and salsa and I have the tendency to do the same for the bread at Italian restaurants. The bread tasted like a pre made roll from H-E-B, but not even really a good one. Another Unilocaler said they received two types of bread but we just got one. It was basically a hamburger bun. The olive oil was acceptable but not exceptional. My wife ordered the ravioli and loved it. I ordered the linguini with sausage and meatballs. It was pretty darn good! The sauce and noodles were as expected but the meatball was incredible, if not the best meatball ive ever had. The only thing is that it only came with one meatball and a whole bunch of average tasting italian sausage. Overall, I will return to Marvinos if someone else wants to go there, but it is unlikely that I will ever say«marvinos» when my wife asks me what I want to eat. However, if the bread is improved I would be willing to look past the price of the entrees and maybe I would say«marvinos» when she asks. (Hey Marvinos, try the garlic knots at Adriatic Café and just copy those. Its okay, really. They dont get any better!)
