Outdated! I went the A/C was not working. They would not get a room with AC and they had numerous rooms… hardly any guest… ended up leaving to stay somewhere else.

Went here for Mother’s Day brunch and was very unimpressed. While the food was quite good, the service was horrible. Clearly they didn’t have enough servers and just trying to get water or coffee was a feat. For the price, $ 42.95, the fact you couldn’t get anyone’s attention or even a glass of wine, left me saying«never again». Too bad as it is a unique place

My fiancé and I went to view this place this past weekend in search of a venue for our wedding… I was very very impressed! They had a few different«venues» to pick from and we decided to pick the Alamo. The person in charge was very helpful and had answers for my 100 questions. I really am looking forward to working with her soon! The packages they offer have been by far the best priced that I’ve been able to find with almost everything included except for a florist and photographer… very affordable! Especially for us! Can’t wait to have our reception here!

For my sister’s wedding this place was booked as the hotel for out of town guests and for the rehearsal dinner. We took up the entire La Hacienda building. First impressions were not great. We checked in at the Welcome Center and were told we had to pay up front. However, our room was paid for already as part of the bride’s family block. I called my father and informed him that the front desk was saying one of the rooms hadn’t been payed for, then the lady at the Welcome Center yelled at me «I never said that» while shaking her finger in my face. um what? I’ve had terrible customer service before but I’ve never been yelled at by someone. Once she had everything figured out she finally gave us the key, very resentfully. Once in our room we kept hearing strange noises, then we realized our room shared two walls with the elevator. Awesome. The rooms were nice, slightly stuck in the 80’s with a Santa Fe flare. The bathtub was great, but after using it I noticed I would not want to use the shower. The shower curtain was moldy, ick. The rehearsal dinner was nice, but I think the mother of the groom takes most of the credit for that. She had to bring all of the decorations, including the vases. The patio tables in the courtyard were so wobbly that drinks would fall over. They offered breakfast during the weekend, which was added to the room charge. It was in another building and only from 7 — 830 am, uh most of us were not early birds, isn’t the standard usually till at least 1030 am? The mother of the groom had the dining room in La Hacienda set up for breakfast on Sunday morning after the wedding. Which was served at almost normal hours. It was set up to last until 1030 am this time, however they packed things up at 945 am to which some of the guests didn’t make it. The biggest impression was left when I stepped outside of my room the morning of the wedding day in my pajama’s to get my hair and make up done in another room. I was greeted by a party of people there for a baby shower that was scheduled in the courtyard. Many of our other guests had the same unnerving experience. We were promised that the entire building was for the wedding the whole weekend, so why was a party going on in our building?!

I was recently trying to plan an event with them and was left completely unimpressed. Inever got passed the contact and email stage. First they emailed me without telling me who they were so I had to inquire. Just my email transaction with them left me looking elsewhere. The place is beautiful. Maybe I’ll give them another try in the future but right now I’m feeling luke warm about the place.

This is a wonderfully friendly conference center. The staff was phenomenal during our 2 day conference. The food was great, the surrounding were so nice and pretty. It really was a nice secluded area that really allows a conference to have a lot less distractions than in a downtown city hotel. Wonderful place! Beautiful time spent here!
