Terrible service. Cashier Maleska didn’t pack napkin nor sauce. She never asked if I want any sauce. Shrimp and Chicken was good but fries and corn on the cob was cold.

Staff meeting tonight and they wanted something different and decided on chicken. After watching Undercover Boss I went to Popeyes. Need a large amount of chicken for 25+ people. The staff and manager were very excited, appreciative, and friendly towards me. They had to drop some more chicken but that was ok as I know they try to keep it all fresh. The location was very clean with the exception of a table, maybe the customers had just left. My only suggestion is maybe offer someone who has to wait a beverage or biscuit while they wait. LoL. My staff will be thrilled to have something different tonight.

I see so many people slagging this Popeye’s that I had to put in my two cents. I live in the area and eat here about once a week. Admittedly, I always eat the same thing – the #6 meal which is 5 chicken strips(spicy), «Cajun» rice, BBQ sauce, biscuit, and a glass of unsweetened tea. It is always fresh, served competently, and tasty. As alternative sides, I’ve had the rice and beans(no more), mashed potatoes, and fries. I stopped with the rice and beans long ago when I found out that the beans are more like the refried variety from a Tex-Mex place, but that is all Popeye’s. When we need chicken for the family or an event, we get a box of part spicy and part mild. It’s always good. I don’t expect Popeye’s to be Brennans, so I don’t slag them for being a fast-food chicken joint. Compared to other stores who do the same, this location does a good job. Not too long ago, they remodeled the store and it looks great. A couple of TVs in the dining room entertain the patrons.(I don’t care about such things, but I like that they have it.) They have a mix of booths and tables with chairs(which I prefer). Overall, I like this store and the food that I get there.

This was an awful meal. Hot coleslaw? Ewww! Getting both orders wrong? Come on! Maybe if the employees weren’t so busy with each other they could have done something right… The chicken was overdone… I normally love Popeyes so I was expecting much better. Save your money and time. Raisin’ cane’s is 2 mins away. A much better choice.

Awful awful. On all aspects. Not Louisiana«fast» took over 10 minutes in the drive thru, and very weird kid working made us pull up(I’m assuming to reset the timer for the drive thru) even tho there was no one behind us. He was very odd, which is fine but he made us uncomfortable. Chicken tasted like it was breaded in seafood cornmeal breading and not the original. He didn’t ask if we wanted dipping sauce so I was left with no gravy or ranch. We got no napkins or fork for our sides. Bad service bad food will not be back.

My wicked chicken was bitty strips in Buffalo sauce. my gripe was the red beans and rice, it was just a fail… I got brownish gravy afloat hard white rice. like why?! Last time the chicken was over fried now useless side item. I am thoroughly over this location. Please get a Cajun qualified cook!

I do not usually critique fast food, but it is a restaurant and I needed a quick dinner. To the facts… With the three piece spicy combo, you get chicken, fries, drink and a biscuit. The fried chicken itself was ok. Even with the spicy, the chicken breading just lacks overall flavor. The fries had been sitting for some time and had lost any crisp they might have once possessed. For French fries, they tasted ok, but would have been pretty good if they were fresh from the frier. The biscuit had an ok taste, but was a bit dry. For fast food, if the items I ordered had been recently cooked, it might have actually achieved that third star. Service was ok, not great, just ok. Don’t get me wrong, I ate the entire meal, just wish they could put something more recently cooked with the low customer traffic that was there. I understand you can’t cook fried chicken to order, but you can do something with the rest of the meal. Next time I’m in the mood for chicken, I’ll likely just keep on going till I hit KFC.

I’ve been to plenty of Popeye’s in Houston but this one totally stood out from the rest for me. While placing my order the lady taking my order asked if I would like it cooked fresh and I quickly said. why yes thank you. To make things even more pleasant, when I got up to the window she was a very cute chicken angel(yes I’m adding to my review how cute the lady was with her lovely cute Spanish accent). My order came out perfectly and every thing was exactly the way expected. It wasn’t the spiciest I’ve had from Popeye’s but I have no complaints about the freshness and customer service during this experience.
