Staff was loud, vulgar, and cutting up so bad that it made us uncomfortable. There seems to be a total lack of management. Appears to be the trend by reading the other reviews from 6 months ago. Doubt I will ever go back.

Went this morning and I wasn’t really impressed. The waitress was attentive and sweet so that was nice and refreshing. The food was ok, although eating at the bar and watching tiny sugar ants crawling around made me lose my appetite. So needless to say, I didn’t finish my meal. Maybe I’ll give it another shot one day but not any day soon…

This is the second time I ate here. The first time, my orders were not coming out correctly, and finally after telling them repeatedly that we needed to get going we paid. They gave us waffles to go, and they were STILL the wrong ones. I went back with my sister today. Got a new waitress, who was very nice and trying hard. To make sure she ordered things correctly, she had her trainer double check her ticket, and all was well(this is as it should be and we have no complaints against the new girl and her trainer, both of whom were very apologetic about our experience.) When the food came out, my sister’s hashbrowns were practically raw, and she couldn’t eat them. My hashbrowns came not cooked as well as I asked for and covered with cheese — both times the problem was not the server, but the cooks. I told the waitress it was wrong, and she was mortified, poor lady, and I explained she wrote my order correctly, it was the cook that messed up. The two cooks, one was named«BMAT» and we didn’t get the other cook’s name… as well as the other two waitresses«Kris» and«Danielle» proceeded to be very snotty and mocking and spent the rest of our visit mimicking and mocking us, and was joined in by the apparent manager of the shift, as she was the oldest, and carrying a clip board. They continued to mock us as we sat in the car and called corporate offices. To be honest, it was the worst restaurant experience I have had, and will never return to that waffle house. Shame on management and staff for treating paying customers this way — and people like this are what fuels the opposition to fair pay for service industry workers. You should always do your best and not mock people. My sister never wants to go to any waffle house ever because of this treatment. As a final note — when I finally got my second order of hashbrowns they were cooked well but had onions — which I didn’t want. If you can’t hack being a line cook, please find another line of employment. Perhaps bagging groceries. The first time it was a little understandable — it was slammed. This visit, we were one of only 2 – 3 parties in the whole restaurant and there is no excuse for cooking it wrong, or mocking the customer when they complain.

Called in my order. No problem! Good was ready when I got there. N was hot prepared just as I ordered, even w/a special request. Service was with a smile n very courteous. N to think I almost didn’t come here because of the negative reviews. Thought I’d give it a try since it is close to home. Glad I did!

This place seriously need better management. I placed a Togo order on a Sunday @ 3pm. Was placed on hold for over 5 mins. Came to pick up the food @ 3:40pm and my order wasn’t done. Nor was it even started on. They didn’t give a crap about it either. The place was not pack maybe had 5 tables. I’m pretty sure they didn’t all came at the same time. I visit this location maybe three times or so & the employees are sitting there playing or talking on their phone. Others are standing around looking as if they are busy doing other things. Contact corporate and haven’t heard from anyone yet. Next time I will order from the one down my street vs one down my workplace.

Racist or just rude? Not quite sure, but just left this location. The waitress seated us, took our drink order … And never came back. White family comes in, is seated, drinks ordered, drinks served … Still no service. There were not busy. There were only two other booths occupied and they had already been served. So what gives? Its cool. Didnt complain… didnt want my food spit in. The waitress was an older white woman, named Lynn. Looked at me like I ran over her dog. The young girl who greeted us was polite. Yeah piss poor service. The whole time we waited she kept glancing at us. So it was quite obvious she didnt want to serve us. Your location is hard to find, hidden behind Bucees. At 5:40 in the evening on a Saturday it was practically deserted … You wont be open long if you continue to employ racist, rude people. I will take my $$ elsewhere. I will also let every other Disabled Veteran I know … By pass this Waffle House

Just had a horrible experience at this location. My wife and I decided to go to Waffle House for dinner since I got off work a little early today. Waffle House has always been one of those places we love to go to for a change of pace, great service, and tasty greasy food! Well tonight, we weren’t able to even try the food at this location due to how horrible the service was on the front end. When entering we received the typical«Welcome to Waffle House» greeting. We seated ourselves at a booth, and a waiter promptly came over to give us a menu. He didn’t take our drink order, just simply stated the other server would be over to take our order. Keep in mind there were only three other tables with people at them, so the place was practically empty. On staff there was a cook and two servers. We waited 12 minutes and still not even a drink order was taken! A waiter then went to the table behind us to take their food order(who were obviously there longer than us). The one girl then asked«Why is this taking so long?» At that point I lost hope & my patience and chose to leave. Who knows how much longer it would have been for us to simply get our drinks… I will not be revisiting this location. Instead, I’ll drive an extra 10 – 15 miles to the one on Barker Cypress &529. At least we know the servers there care about their patrons!

Had an amazing experience during thanksgiving break we sat up at the counter with a pull high chair for a child. The food was amazing quick fast and super friendly. Our baby loved the waitress. We had classic Waffle House plate with chunked and cover hash brown. Amazing!

WORSTWAFFLEHOUSEIVEBEENTO! Staff is loud, they argue, vulgar, they dont check their tables. They dont cook their food & they will serve it COLD! Or with egg shells in your eggs. They forget items you’ve ordered or they might even mix your waffles when you specifically say«one pecan waffle and one chocolate chip waffle» on top of that you say it 4 times! Ridiculous! On too of that ONCHRISTMASDAY there were 4 cops outside to find out that two cooks got into a pyshical fight, that had to be broken up. Super messy and you never know who is in charge! Super upset worst service i have EVER had! DONTGO! I would rather drive to the Waffle House 25 minutes away from me versus 5 minutes!

I was surprised and saddened by the service at this new location. I have eaten at waffle house most of my life in many different states. Being a Georgia native I am always so proud when a waffle house pops up in another state. This store is horribly mismanaged. Cold grits? How was that even possible? No coffee refills? Who puts the stem end of a tomato on a sandwich? Not one coke refill! There were more employees than customers but I and another table were completely ignored. When the waiter brought my credit card receipt he did not leave a pen so I could sign it. I finally went out to speak to the night manager and he nor the cold grits cook bothered to keep their cigarettes out of my face. I left a $ 5.00 tip for the young man that provided the horrible service because I assume he too was having a bad night. I am not a complainer BUT I HAVENEVERHAD A WORSTSERVICEEXPERIENCE. EVER! I am aware of the staff shortage in the Houston area, but such poor management will ruin a group of good employees. Two smoke breaks in forty minutes and no attention to the customers or store will not serve the brand well. My name is Kenny Black and I am a long time loyal Waffle House customer but this store will not get a second chance.

Summary– Not the well oiled machine I was expecting. Waffle House survives because they serve mediocre(at best) greasy ass breakfast fast, cheap, and with a smile. This location isn’t there yet. Seating was chaotic with no clear leader in front of house. Seems like the location is far too small to deal with Cypress, probably poor planning on their part. Food– 2 Stars Greasy, flavorless, fairly fast once you order. Drinks– 2 Stars Meh coffee served up hot. Service– 3 Stars Fine once we got seated.

Wow, this place needs some management! Apparently the manager just left a few minute ago, and now the remaining staff are a bunch of kids horsing around, tossing things, being loud, gave me iced tea with no ice, very big problems going on at this waffle house!

Read Earl’s review. Really disappointing. Our silverware was dirty, the staff were arguing with each other, and our order didn’t come out complete. Their excuse was that they were short-handed and that a shift change was about to occur. We passed a Denny’s, IHOP, and several fast food places to get there — not sure we’ll ever go back.

This is a new Waffle House but the service and food were excellent. They were trained well. I had my regular for Waffle House which was 2 Papa Joe’s pork chops, over easy eggs with grits and orange juice. I like the fact they cut my pork chops for me. It made them easier to get all the meat. All were cooked to perfection for me. The only thing was I had to ask for the pork chops as they were not listed on the menu on the table. There was a second menu which they were listed on. It seems they are off to a great start for a new business.
