IHOP

The service and food is everyday worse.
From the rude attitude from the hostess/​manager and poor service from our waiter. Hot chocolate has too much water, don’t have milk shakes, food was cold. The restaurant was dirty. Not sure we will come back.

Horrible nasty resturant. Food was cold service was super slow. Wife had hair in her food. Our waiter could care less about us, if anything he was avoiding us. We even had to walk up to get our check because he was no where to be found. Never again will we come to this horrible restaurant.

If I could give them no stars I would. We waited a while to be seated and was super patient. On top of that we waited almost 30 minutes to get the food we ordered. The food came out not even hot nor warm more like room temp. On top of that I had a freaking HAIR in our food. Never again will we come here! Our table wasn’t even clean and had syrup all around it. I can’t believe how horrible this restaurant is! Steer away from this place everyone I can’t believe I wasted $ 34.00 here and felt like we shouldn’t have even been charged for the plate with hair, definitely ruined my appetite! Horrible horrible restaurant. Horrible customer service

Don’t eat there unless you want to share a table with roaches! We ordered and our food was room temperature almost cold when we got it. While eating a roach walked across the table by the syrup. We told the manager and she said thank you and walked away like it wasn’t anything. Didn’t even kill it, we had to call another server over to kill it. They killed it with the Chula hot sauce and towel and then continued using same towel to wipe other tables. Way to ruin breakfast and make me never come back!

We have been to this IHOP. several times, each time hoping it will get better. It’s close by and convenient. Once we waited forever to be seated and the place was practically empty. Nobody ever came and we left. We got a to go order today and we were missing several items so we had to go back to pick up the order and still a few items were missing. They were very sorry and super nice about it. Collectively my family and I have mostly had bad service at this place so we choose to go out of our way to another IHOP. To be fair I have sat down a few times and had good service and decent food at this place. I hope they can improve.

Since the software doesn’t allow zero stars I am giving it one. Service, slow. Food, cold. Very poorly managed business. Hope they get it together soon.

Place seem to never want to answer their phone. Service is slow but employee’s seem friendly.

This place is the pits! Rude waiters, slow service; not to mention the place is filthy! It’s obvious they don’t care. So, I went there with a family member for dinner and we should’ve known it was gonna be bad considering there were no more than 3 cars in the parking lot on a FRIDAY EVENING! As soon as we got inside, we weren’t even greeted, just taken to our seats. The waitress came and took our drinks but it took her 30 minutes to bring them. She didn’t even apologize, and had a nasty attitude the entire time. She got our orders all wrong as well and the food was cold when we got it. Bad! Terrible service! One of the worst I’ve ever seen. Do not come here if you want to be treated like dirt! There’s a Denny’s 5 minutes away, go there instead!

Not good… whatsoever. When we arrived we washed hands in the bathroom (I had 4 kiddos with me). The worker at the sink next to us was ill at the sink and went on to tell us he «ate something he shouldn’t have» last night. He the. Went back into the kitchen… hopefully, not the one making my food.
When we set down, service was extremely poor and slow. The kid (Alex) went back twice to see what non-​dairy creamer options we had and ultimately I gave up as he didn’t know (I even gave specific examples like soy milk). I shared I do not want coffee then, and to no surprise… I was tilled charged for it.
When the food finally arrived, they brought the wrong order (it was for another table). We waited 1 hour, 20 minutes and our food finally came… after asking multiple times. And you guessed it… all was cold, so no doubt it had been sitting for awhile.
Add the fact I was corralling four young kids the entire time who were hungry… all equals a bad experience.

I don’t know why I would think this would be an excellent dining experience, but as we all know, decent breakfast places in Cypress are few and far between. Granted I went on a Sunday around 11am, the wait was absolutely ridiculous for four people. The hostess literally told us she had no idea where our name was in line, though she could have easily looked down at her list. Our waitress was okay, but after ordering my peach/​raspberry pancakes and them being served with only peaches, I was told they were out of raspberries. Would have been nice to know BEFORE bringing my food out. Not to mention, they were able to successfully screw up everyone else’s dish. The real kicker was them bringing out regular eggs instead of egg substitute to my friend and then lying about it. Good thing she didn’t have an egg allergy.
Anywho, save yourself the time and make some pancakes at home.

Biscuits and gravy were cold. Service was slow. The blackberry and peach cobbler pancakes look NOTHING like the picture and tasted horrible!
I usually like I hop better than Denny’s. Next time I’m going to Denny’s.

In past visits the service is unusually slow, even during off-​peak times. This morning there was nobody to seat us so we stood around by the hostess desk for 8 minutes while servers glanced at us occasionally. After nobody even acknowledged our existence we left for another restaurant. No excuse for that at 12pm on a Friday. Less than one star service for today — the two stars is based on prior times we were there and the food (when you finally get it) is good, but below what it looks and tastes like at other Ihops.

Nasty restaurant and horrible service the waitress interrupted me multiple time trying to order and took for ever my bread was stale … Don’t come here !!!

Very slow service. Kitchen is slow. Management never seems to be there or is slow in handling issues.

There should no stars! Worst service ever. Waited 40 minutes and still have no food. There excuse is the machines are down. It does not take machines to make eggs and bacon! At least warn customers who come in that they’re not serving. I’m calling corporate. There were like only 3 tables in the restaurant.

This rating is based on other IHOPs. This IHOP is below average for what I would consider «IHOP Standard». The manager on duty was way too inexperienced to handle the responsibility especially on a Sunday. It took them over an hour to seat our 13 person party and they still spit us up and sat us nowhere near each other. No less than five employees were «updating» us on our seating status. Each employee had differing information. It was mass confusion.
On top of that everything was overcooked. Bacon was nearly burnt, Sirloin Tips were like rubber erasers and the yolks on my sunny-​side up eggs were cooked through and through.

It’s been a while since I ate here and thought I would try it. The waitress was friendly and hospitable. The steak I had was just how I like it, and the corn and potatoes were really tasty! The dessert I had was the best way to end a meal. The crêpe was soft and sweet! I enjoyed the service here very much and overall experience was excellent!

Clean even though we showed up at 10:00 am on a Saturday… labor day weekend!
Tables bussed and cleaned super fast so you don’t have to look at a mess next to your table.
Immediately had fresh hot pot of coffee (absolute must for a breakfast visit by a coffee addict)!
Order taken as soon as i could make up my mind.
Order arrived exactly to order.
The only reason for not giving them five stars was i like my food hot and it was only warm. I am betting if they weren’t so busy the temp wouldn’t have been a problem.
Bottom line super staff and i’m sure we will be back!

Still great for kids and basic breakfast is still reliable. I had the steak omelet which was not up to par as in the past.
The meat was more «shaved» beef instead of the cubes of steak as in the past. Also had a lot of gristle in it. Was somewhat disappointed.

When you come here you have to have already expected that it is IHOP. So keep in mind that you shouldn’t expect a gourmet meal. However IHOP is leaps and bounds better than Denny’s.
Went here with the fam, and had a good meal. Our order came out correct, timely, and it was good. It was very slow and we didn’t have the best server on earth but eh, it’s IHOP.
The food was good and my family and I had a nice time. Can’t complain about that right?
