Wienerschnitzel

The food was good or at least normal for a Weinersniztle the only complaint that I have is that there was no A/​C the place felt like an oven and it wasn’t even that hot outside

My review is for my drive-​thru and food experience only since I didn’t eat inside the restaurant.
I came here since I’m hunny and I were in the area shopping and wanted something quick and fatty lol.
We ordered the mini corn dogs and jalapeño poppers. Wow we were surprised! The corn dogs were cooked just right and very crispy. The jalapeño poppers were delicious! And barely any wait!
I was nervous to come here due to the reviews but this just goes to show that sometimes you can’t necessarily take a review to heart and you just gotta go out and try it for yourself.
The reviews here are a bit harsh but come on people it’s fast food not gourmet.
I’m rarely in the mood for hotdogs etc but if I’m ever in a rush for something fast, and quick I’ll come back :)

This Weinerschnitzel is by far the worst one of them all. The last 3 times I have gone there they have royally screwed up my order. My fault for going back there guess it’s because it’s the closest one to my place. I do however just wanted to warn anyone who is thinking about going to this particular Weinerschnitzel. Don’t go here the customer service is crappy and they tend to have employees that close earlier than the times put out there for their location. Also like I said before they screw up orders and not complicated orders I’m talking about I ordered the triple cheese and bacon chili frys and they gave me a completely different type of fry order. So please stay clear of this place and find any other one to go too for example the one off of Lincoln and Valley View.

I never back to that place… Food is not fresh, is always a mgr he like to argue with customers… I see roaches iven a mouse at night time everywhere… The mgr Gonzalo is a asshole. Uneducated… really bad experience we have… Price’s don’t iven ask me…

The restaurant was very clean. They were polite to us and our food came out quickly and it was piping hot!
During the afternoon all of the tables are in the sun because they don’t have shades on their windows so it was a little warm inside. Otherwise a pleasant experience.

Went last nite (6−22−15) got 2 chili dogs for dinner, after I almost left I checked and saw if they had put in any condiments in my bag, there was only 2 ketchup and no mustard. I drove back around and went into the dining room area and asked it seemed like the manager and told him that they forgot to put mustard in my bag. He quickly asked what did I order and then gave me 2 mustards. I looked at him and that it. He then replied I could only give you two. Horrible customer service. Very stingy with condiments, and to top it off the dining room was a ghost town. Seems like all the reviews seem to say the exact same thing. Bad customer service and stingy with condiments.

I went there yesterday (April 4^th 2015) and stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes and NOBODY came to take my order. There were no other customers in the store except for two other girls who had already gotten their food and there was no one in the drive thru, so I’m not exactly sure what the issue was. There is this window where you can see into the back and I actually saw one woman cleaning something and she made eye contact with me several times but never went to take my order, and never notified any of the other workers that there was a customer at the register. I ended up just leaving and going somewhere else. I’ve been here on a few other occasions and noticed that the service is really bad here so I will not be going to this location again. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Wienerschnitzel is just that Wienerschnitzel home of the sloppy chili dog. After reading some of the reviews on this location I am skeptical. Luckily on every occasion that I have ventured into this location it has seemed clean and sanitary to me. I like some of the new menu items that they are trying to incorporate like the barbecue bacon dog. But didn’t they used to do that back in the day? Pretty sure they did and I think it was called the western dog. The pastrami fries are okay little overpriced if you ask me. Some of the other things they do are good as well. But I can guarantee after reading a couple of the reviews I seen that when I come back here I will definitely be watching very very close to see if I notice anything out of the ordinary.

This place doesn’t take coupons! I’ve never ran in to this before. The Wienerschnitzel coupons you get in the mail are not welcome at the place.

Just picked up lunch to go and went to eat my second chili dog. When I opened the wrapper a bug came out of the hotdog. I am completely disgusted especially when I think about the first one I just ate.
I know things happen and you can’t control everything, but when I called the restaurant to notify them so they can be aware and check their kitchen I basically got talked to by the manager like I was a liar. She offered no apology or offered to make the situation better. If this is who Wienerschnitzel feels is a good reflection of their company to manager one of their restaurants then I won’t be eating at any of their locations again.

Decided to get lunch here today and will never go back.
My coworker noticed that one of the ladies working in the back did not have her hair put up into a ponytail and was hanging in front of her which any loose piece of hair could have contaminated the food if it had fallen or she leaned over the food. After this was brought to my attention I started to watch her a little more closely. Several things I noticed after that have forced me to never eat there again. She picked up the food with her bare hands and placed it into the proper packaging with no gloves or any utensil to help with this process. The worst part is when she walked around the corner and grabbed a napkin from the dispenser behind the counter and proceeded to wipe her nose with it. She kept wiping her nose once she went behind the wall (there is a small window that you can see into the back) this is how I could see her also picking up the food with her bare hands. She didn’t even wash her hands after that!!! Right after that picks up a leftover french fry, puts it in her mouth and walks out into the dining area to pick up the dirty trays. I am absolutely disgusted by now and had to bring it to the attention of her and the other people working at this location. The best part about it is the look on her face was of confusion like she didn’t know that she had done something wrong. Then proceeded to tell me that her hands were sanitary. Haha I just watched her wipe her nose without washing her hands!!! I will never EVER go back here to eat ever again. Consumer beware when you eat here. You may be getting a side of germs that you didn’t pay for.

Mmmm some deals not advertised. Slow service. Forgot my drink and really expensive for the amount of food you get here. No fountain drink machine. Really stingy when giving out condiments. I definitely regret coming here.

Let me think of all the reasons why I give Wienerschnitzel in Cypress one star:
–Stuffy, lack of A/​C on a 80+ degree summer day
–Super slow service, for both drive through and walk in. Definitely not «fast food» anymore
-$ 0.61 hot dog promo limited to one per customer only. Was not advertised via email, and I overheard other customers who were not aware
–Hot dog did not look appealing. I had to spruce up my chili dog myself with American cheese slices and minced raw onion

Like Vince N.‘s review, this is the worst Wienerschnitzel that I’ve ever been to.
I noticed, too, that they don’t give you a receipt.
They charge you a lot to put cheese on the hot dog.
The food is expensive, but not up to par with the price.
Customer service could be better, friendlier. In fact, they are kinda rude… they are foreigners, which surprised me, because foreign workers are among the nicest people in the U.S. right now, but not these people.
My Friends have confirmed the lower quality of food, and the taste and service.
The person in the drive-​thru is a smart-​a**, gives you a nasty stare and does not say thank you.

It’s okay to like the big W. I stay away for the most part, but when I heard they had 1950s prices one day only I emptied the change jar. Sometimes you want champagne, but only have beer money… what are you going to do?

Worst overall location I’ve ever been to.
Food surprisingly NOT fresh food, even during lunch rush, almost every time that I’ve been here (worked nearby for 5 years)!
Prices slightly/​noticeably higher than other locations.
Customer service could be better, friendlier.
Coworkers/​Friends confirm the lower quality food taste and service.
Not an absolutely horrible place, but consistently disappointing.

Was craving a corn dog so I thought of wienerschnitzel… pretty expensive for one dinky corn dog I thought.$ 1.72 including tax

Love their corn dogs and their fries are the best of any fast food chain.

Average fast food hot dogs. Service was pretty slow as they appear to put priority on drive thru customers first.

You know when you get that craving for a chili dog and the only place that will satisfy is Wienerschnitzel??? Something is in that chili that makes me crave it!
Food comes out quick and hot. My order is always right and they say thank you!
Drive thru can be a tight squeeze sometimes as you are jockeying for space with the Starbucks crowd.
