While I agree with others, this is not the best store choice but it is nice enough. Employees are very friendly, selections are decent and it has that good«neighborhood feel.» Prices are a little bloated but they are always running great deals on meat.

This Albertsons is okay. I would much rather go elsewhere though, I shop here since it is the closest grocery store. The parking lot issue is horrendous, The construction going on is being done like a pack of 5 year old’s planned it. Half the parking lot is blocked, you drive in and find a dead end and cant even get to the store if there are other people trying to navigate the parking lot at the same time. The selection is okay, they have less than Brookshire Brothers. The produce is always off, I go buy something and the next morning it is bad. The vegetable from Sprouts are fresher and even lasts more than a few hours. Also, some of the employees are complete dingbats.(not all of them) One in the bakery in particular was wiping a machine for a good 5 – 10 minutes. in the same spot while I patiently waited. When she turned and saw me, I told her I had called earlier to see if they had Ice– Cream cakes. She said yes and pointed me to the correct freezer. She stated«Only Ice Cream cakes are in there» The blue bell sign above the cooler furthers this belief. I grabbed a cake that was exactly the same as 10 others and checked out. That evening when I got the cake out for my husbands birthday he cut into it and was very disappointed to find it was a regular cake in the cooler. She mislead me, they said I could bring the cake back but I am very busy, it is hard for me to get there sometimes before the bakery closes, and who wants to bring back eaten cake? They need to better mark the product and not mix regular and ice cream cakes in the cooler marked Ice Cream Cake. Made with 100% Blue Bell. If only Kroger’s would open a new store nearby.

I love to support business around my hood, however, this Albertsons does not keep up with the«used by or expiration date» for their produce and dairy. I have bought several things in different occasions that are expired. Not very appealing to me. Other than that everything else is ok. Just check the expiration date or Used by date before buying.

Unfortunately, this is one of, if not the worst Albertsons I have seen. The produce ranges from acceptable to too-often moldy(check the undersides of any berries) and the pasta I just bought had expired a month earlier. The quality of produce is simply not good and the store, particularly in that area, never feels clean — fruit and vegetable bits often litter the floor and remain there to be squashed by carts. And carts. I don’t hold that against the store, but what is up with the grocery carts littering the parking lot? Lazy shoppers who can’t be bothered to return the carts. Still, the other month I visited the store to find employees spraying ceiling tiles with cleaner(?) near the meat and produce and actually felt the stuff wafting down. The ceiling tiles did look dirty/moldy, but really? Casa Linda deserves a better standard.

This is a neighborhood grocery store, not a destination market such as Whole Foods. For those who live near by, it’s a convenient option.

I shop at this store based solely on it’s being close to home. Otherwise, not much else stands out. Prices seem slightly higher than Kroger and selection suffers in comparison. Also, as other Unilocalers have noted, it is a pain getting in and out of the parking lot. As a result I often head in the opposite direction to Kroger. On the plus side they’ve done away with the self service checkout and always have someone manning the express lane. They no longer have those annoying loyalty cards. And the employees are always helpful.

This store is slowly changing for the better. With competition from Natural Grocers across the street and the now-closer Whole Foods, they needed to become a little bit more than a run-of-the-mill grocery store. I’m not sure who decided to make a change, but this store has increased it’s selection of fresh produce and organic produce. The big thing for me are the natural products that are popping up all over the store. I don’t have to drive across town to buy Beanitos. Keep it up, Albertsons.

this store is located at Buckner and Garland Rd. The staff are pretty nice, but boy does that store need an update. Sometimes you can smell something has gone bad in the seafood department too. They really need to update the layout of this store.

This Albertsons sits at the corner of Buckner and Garland in Lakewood. It’s kind of a pain to get in and out of the parking lot because of the busy intersection. The store itself is on the older side, with outdated décor. The aisles are split down the middle of the store, so you need to be in the middle of the two aisles to know what’s simultaneously on the right and left aisles. The layout of the store is a bit strange, with produce on one end of the store, and paper products on the other end, and everything from party favors, toiletries, and wine in the middle. As for prices, it is a little more expensive than Krogers, and much more expensive than Aldis!
