Peachy keen oatmeal was good. Nothing spectacular but it was good to have an option for oatmeal at the airport. Wasn’t pre-cooked, and didn’t take long to cook since they use a sauté pan on an induction cooktop. Fresh fruit ingredients. The same servers for blimpie, so may have to wait depending on how long the line is.

Didn’t check Unilocal before ordering. Had a good experience but after checking reviews saying that the milk pull by date had passed I checked ours. It was today’s date, but the milk smelled and tasted fine. Kids got cap’n crunch and Cheerios and I got cocoa puffs and lucky charms mixed. Was good. Would go again but would definitely keep an eye on the milk.

As much as I love pancakes and french toast, my breakfast of choice usually begins with cold cereal. Because of that, I was excited when I came across this breakfast bar inside the Dallas Airport, but that excitement changed to disgust pretty quickly. At Cereality, customers choose from their favorite brands of cereal and can customize it by adding different toppings and milk. They also have preset options of which I chose the«Life Experience” – consisting of Life cereal, sliced bananas, diced almonds, drizzled honey and milk. For $ 4.75, you’ll receive a small serving inside a «oyster pail» or Chinese Food To-Go Box with milk on the side. Reasons why I’ll never return: 1) They served me spoiled, clumpy milk! The carton didn’t imply it was overdue, which means they didn’t refrigerate properly. The manager was apologetic and upgraded my new order into a large. He then went into the back to get new milk and took a solid 10 minutes doing so. This made me believe there was much more spoiled milk products in the back since it took him so long to find a good one. The new«good» carton then had a pull date that was arriving in two days. 2) Almonds had that dull, stale texture/taste 3) Customer service needs desperate improvement. Outside of the manager, the employees were apathetic and rude. I even saw one of them smile/chuckle when I claimed I ate spoiled milk. 4) Price to portion ratio is poor. For $ 4.75 I could buy a whole box of cereal at a grocery store instead. 5) The choice of an oyster pail is a horrible decision. If not handled with care, the box will slowly leak, resulting in a messy breakfast. —— Conclusion: This fast-food concept is simple and intriguing, but poorly executed and managed. I’m a Unilocaler who avoids GIVING one star reviews, but in this case, I feel it’s justified. I wouldn’t want to visit again. Extra Notes: –Accepts credit card –Located in Terminal C at the Dallas Airport –Bad service –Décor could use some color –Restrooms at airport are clean

Something was off, maybe it was the milk, the cereal or maybe it was me. I kept thinking the milk may have been sour and yet I was still eating it. Ew. Could have definitely worked out to be a cool little concept and I intended it to be a nice little snack before a flight but… was a little disilussioned when I noticed it shares a space with a sandwich making joint… and that along with my paranoia with the milk turned me off. Also, the lady taking my order wasn’t familiar with the menu and kept asking me what ingredients were in my cereal concoction. So after telling her how to make my order I was charged at the sub register on the side, by the girl making subs with her gloves… And handling money. It was alright but overall a weak experience.

Excited at the site of cereal& milk, then do it & it’s probably the most travel friendly option in this area of the airport. I was excited because I was able to have two different kinds of cereal in one sitting(what can I say, it’s the simple things that make me happy). But I would have loved more milk options either soy or almond. A good quick stop especially if you have picky kids.

It was alright. Obviously it’s expensive whatever u get in the airport, but if u are craving for all kinda of cereal, it’s is your place. It’s around $ 8 per box and they mix one or two kinds of cereal with fruits/dry goods it depends on what u chose(it’s set). The strawberry in mine isn’t the fresh slices, it’s more like from the can…

Despite the iffy reviews I decided to try it for the novelty factor. Bad move. Cereal was stale and my container leaked. I ordered their Life happens suggestion without the honey. The first order I returned after my skim milk pored out in chunks. Milk carton 2 had the same results. Pull date was three days ago. The ESL counter person did not understand the pull date concept. I opted for 2% that was expiring in a few days instead and was able to finally try my cereal. No joy in breakfast land. Skip this joint and get the Dickys BBQ next door. Bummer

Sorry, but there are much better values, choices for breakfast… tries to be healthy-conscious, but they’re not quiet there.

Super pricey for what you get. And a lot of these combinations are just odd… who wants chocolate in the breakfast cereal? Heavy on the sweets.

I thought this palace was a novel idea. I actually came back on my outgoing flight. Refreshing Smoothies and healthy options make this place great. The staff was also really quick with the orders as well.

more of a novelty really especially when craving cereal. i liked the different combos they had, and the cute to-go chinese boxes they come in. not sure it the price was steep cuz thats what they actually cost? or cuz it was located in an airport… oh and you have to purchase milk separately? sucky.

Yup, as the name suggests this is a place serving all kinds of cereals. You can mix them and they’ve got lots of fruit, nut, and other toppings. There are healthy options and all the sugar cereals too.

Overpriced cereal. That’s about all there is to say on this one. They pour some cereal in a carton, charge you $ 4.35, and tell you to grab a milk out of the cooler.

Cereality was featured on Unwrapped by the FoodNetwork so of course I had to try it. It was on TV! The whole concept of buying cereal outside of a supermarket seems ridiculous(though if a child in a breakfast joint wants to eat cereal, that’s okay, kids are picky eaters), but being that I was on travel, a bowl of cereal could bring me some comfort. They created their own hot and cold cereal creations. These choices were $ 4.39 each. Of course you could have made your own creations by choosing two cereals and one topping. Additional toppings were extra cost, but milk was included. Curious? Here were some of their own cereal mixes. Cold Cereal: On the more extreme side they had«The Devil Made Me Do It» which consisted of cocoa puffs, lucky charms, chocolate syrup, and malt balls. Wait, chocolate malt balls in cereal? I don’t think this breakfast does a body good. Not with chocolate syrup and more chocolate pieces in it. Then there was«Jump Start» that sounded a lot more tame. This one included special K, cheerios, peaches, and honey. Okay. That sounds like something I could make at home on a daily basis. Then there was«Country Inn Crunch» which had frosted flakes, low fat granola, maple syrup and cinnamon apples. WTF? Maple syrup in my cereal? This was not pancakes, people. Hot Cereal(aka oatmeal): They used Quaker brand oatmeal, but I wasn’t feeling oatmeal midday. They did have a bright pink«A Strawberry Affair» that was oatmeal mixed with strawberry syrup and strawberries, topped with even more strawberries. Whoa, it was definitely out of the norm in terms of oatmeal. I’m used to brown sugar, raisins, and milk in my hot oatmeal. After some hesitation, I did end up ordering«Life Experience» which included two scoops of Life cereal, honey, and sliced almonds. Yeah, I played it safe. It was a good bowl of cereal, but Cereality was not something I would buy everyday. This place reminded me of 21 Choices frozen yogurt back in California, where they mix in toppings with frozen yogurt to create a custom dessert. Customized cereal anyone? This may be going too far.
