Horrible service at a table. Faster service at the bar, and since the bartender takes bar seat orders as well as making all drinks, those sitting at bar get drinks before tables, even if they arrived after tables. Took forever to get my card back since waitress either forgot to run it or became too busy with other tasks. I could see someone missing their flight because of this slow service. I’ve been burned here before by the slow service, but thought I’d give them another try. Shame on me. Out of about 6 times here, I’ve had decent service only once.

I feel terrible for the poor gal waiting tables but she is clearly in over her head. The menu is very limited. Only ½ of the tables are full and the wait staff is both preparing food and bartending. My food came – it was wrong – but I decided to go for it rather than try the ordeal of sending it back with hopes of ever getting lunch. The food is all condiment style like 7 – 11, heated in a bank of microwaves. If at DFW, go somewhere else. This place is terrible in both choices and service.

Fly Bar was not so fly. There are a few, very basic redeeming qualities ever bar should have. These are the minimums. When executed well, much can be forgiven. First, is the beer cold? If not a resounding yes, the whole situation begins to immediately deteriorate. So it went at the«Fly Bar». My beer was just shy of being acceptably cold. Sigh. I didn’t send it back, didn’t want to be a pest, had only awhile before my flight, etc. My second beer was the same. Gah, maybe I’ll order something different and hope its colder? The«Super Fly» hot dog was a heaping mass of cheese and greasy jalapeño’s…the dog itself quickly slid out of the bun and nearly into my lap. It was about the same temperature as the beer. The 12TV’s carpeting the wall above the bar were, thankfully, all on but silent. A decent blend of old school funk played. Service was kinda slow but it was moderately busy, so I’ll give that a pass. Now if only the beer were cold enough…

The staff makes the place great! Miss Amanda & Miss B are Amazing and Awesome! It’s the only watering hole in the E terminal! Drinks are $ and the food is all micro waved! Good luck and happy flights!

$ 11.00 draft beers. Need I say more? Shame on this place. As if listening to their employees bicker wasn’t unpleasant enough. I sincerely hope this place closes permanently soon.

Ate here before flying out of DFW. The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because the wine wasn’t too bad. I had the turkey sandwich and I had to ask and double check that it was indeed turkey because it was pink like ham. There wasn’t much to it, and I would definitely go somewhere else if you can.

I wish I had read the reviews before I sat down. I would have walked back to the main terminal and eaten there. This place is a half step above the dumpster. They’re not even trying. Never again.

Should have read the reviews from other Unilocalers before sitting down. What’s funny here is that as I sat down to right this review, a representative from DFW came up to me asking me for my opinion of the airport. My immediate comment was«the Flybar sucks.» I mean really, a «bar» with the only white wine available as moscato, is a bad sign. Further, the«fly sticks» that are shown on the menu aren’t even carried anymore. To top it off, the nachos I ordered were cold and limp(yes, I realize I just wrote that). I could have had better nachos at a movie theater. Very disappointing.

Went to bar to get drinks after waiting at the side tables, then waited to pay; eventually gave up, and went back to my table. Eventually flagged down a waitress and let her know we hadn’t paid yet. Tried to order again, had to flag another one down to order, then yet another to remind her about our drinks, and finally got them and our check. Drinks were fine, and the waitresses were polite, but this place just seems very disorganized. My advice for travelers: go to the bar to order your drinks, and if they don’t bother to ask you to pay, don’t bother paying.

This was with out question the worst airport bar I have been to. The service was atrocious! I saw a guy across the bar order a Bourbon and coke. The bartender who was clueless served him a Captain Morgan and coke… Then I ordered a budlight and was charged the same as the guy next to me who ordered a craft beer. I asked about it and the term«craft beer» seemed like forgein language… Unreal, I will definitely not return to this bar.

This was gross. I travel a lot across the country. Fly Bar, by far, is the most disgusting airport bar/“restaurant” I’ve been to. Couple this with bad service and you have a nightmare. 1. Self seating, but I waited for 10 minutes with no acknowledgment so I decided to move sests(should’ve left then). 2. New seat and table were completely broken and unbalanced. I set my backpack down and the table toppled to the side. 3. Slow service still(see #1). 4. Luke warm, EXPENSIVE beer. $ 9.25 for 16oz. Even that is a bit unreasonable for airports. 5. Half of the food wasn’t available on the menu(mini spring rolls, healthy choice options) so I ordered chicken strips. These were GROSS. The chicken tasted rank and old and wasn’t edible. I’d rather go hungry than get food poisoning. 6. The tables weren’t wiped down between guests unless the tables were a mess. For sanitation’s sake… come on! All in all, if you’re hungry in DFW Terminal E… go to Dickeys. Cross your fingers I’m not throwing up in four hours from the bite of chicken I did eat. Bleh.

Service is to noisy and very slow. You can go here cause no chance to get whiskey in another place. Tables are dirty. Servants are waiting for tips, but no for your pleasure.

Beer came out at average pace. Waitress was nice the one time she came over. Didn’t think you could mess up chicken fingers… not good. Also, the half travel cup of ranch was hardly enough for three pretty big“chicken fingers”. Update: after seeing I ate approximately half of my food I was not charged. They didn’t have to do that. I say again, the waitress was nice.

Stella our server was very sweet however the food was subpar at best. One star rating is very accurate. Margarita taste like sour mix and food was microwaved and nachos were soggy :/

Where do you go for a drink when your late night flight is delayed in Terminal E? Unfortunately, trapped in Terminal E lead us to Fly Bar. This bar has got to be the worst airport bars ever in terms of food, price, and service. The sliders are atrocious. The draft beer was around $ 12. The service was slow even though the bar was not busy.

Worst service I’ve ever had at a bar. Drink was aweful, ignored me. Wouldn’t go here again don’t recommend. Should have checked my Unilocal reviews before stoping here

Good god, this is a train wreck of an airport bar. Nothing comes out quickly, they have no idea what you ordered, and the place isn’t even that big. How can you mess up giving alcohol to thirsty travelers? The guys sitting next to me at the bar started a drinking game about the number of times the staff screwed up, looked frazzled, or completely melted down. They even ran out of pint glasses. If I had the time I would have walked to another bar, but their proximity to my gate forced my hand. The one positive is that they mispoured a drink, so I got a freebie. I’d rather pay for drinks on the plane.

I CANNOT believe how horrible my brief experience at this bar was. There are plenty of bars in airports and I have never been to one so rude and disgusting. It was packed and everyone was trying to pay and everyone was being ignored. All of the tables were dirty, the counter was dirty, all of tr waitress’ mouths were dirty. I asked if I could sit down and one of the waitresses said no. She wasn’t joking, the seat was free, she was just being openly rude. A kind older woman came up to ask if she could get a hot dog to go and I have never seen a patron yelled at like they did her — they said no, then they yelled across the bar and asked another girl working there if she could make her a hot dog to go and the girl yelled«FORWHO? DOESITLOOKLIKE I HAVETIMEFORYOURBULLSHIT?» Every patron was exchanging«oh my god» faces every half of a second, as soon as one of the employees would FINALLY take the customers money the customer would immediately leave as they had been waiting for 10+ min– hence they have received an absurd amount in tips. I sat at the bar for 15 minutes until I decided to leave. I hadn’t even been asked what I would like even though I blatantly had $ 20 and my ID in my bag. I’ve never been so outraged at a bar! I hope they clear out their current staff ASAP so they can get on the right path.

This is the only bar in this wing of the airport, so there is nothing to compare it to. The service is extremely slow, but the staff is usually very friendly. The manager(who has been there every time I’ve been) is extremely friendly and if she notices you’ve been waiting she makes sure you get taken care of. She also recognizes when you’re a regular and tries to give you a little quicker service. Beer is a little overpriced and they are often out of stock/off tap, but its an airport, what do you expect? I’ve only ordered food once– got the salad with chicken on top. It was okay. It was literally lettuce, two tomato slices, a cut up chicken tender and a side of whatever dressing you selected. Again, you get what you pay for, and its airport food. I will obviously be coming here again, since it is the only bar in the section of the airport. But it is definitely not brag-worthy.
