Definitely an above average burger joint. Appreciate the fresh/clean/organic ingredients, the burger just tastes«clean» compared to other places, and the fries dont have that overwhelming grease. basically, it tastes good and you dont feel like complete crap when you’re done eating like you would at some place like smashburger

everything was fresh made, they even cut the potatoes to make the fries right in front of you I thought that was very cool to see~ meat patty was good and greasy like a good burger should be but it doesn’t overwhelm you with grease… so it’s good~ it’s comparable to mooyah and other build your own burger type of places~ service was good and fairly fast and they have a point system for you to get free stuff later on. all and all a good lunch spot and good food~ a bit pricey for fast food but solid 3.5 stars~

Sub par burger cold fries laughable cold bun-based grilled cheese extremely long wait. We paid $ 30 for the experience. The workers had no leader, they were all working very hard while achieving nothing. One guy kept making baskets of fries and stacking them on each other, smashing out the grease and making them disgusting. Meanwhile they already had enough fries to feed 100 people, but the burger makers were slammed. I really have to describe this«grilled cheese» to you. [0] Take order, wait 15 minutes [1] Take a small hamburger bun [2] Flip the pieces over so the outside will appear like sliced bread [3] Place one slice of fake cheese on it [4] Place in a toaster oven hot enough to burn the outside, and not melt the cold, hard cheese*. [4b] *If fake cheese slice is hard, that means it sat out and dried up [5] Take«grilled cheese sandwich» and place on tray for 15 more minutes. [6] Serve cold, hard, burnt, non-melted grilled cheese along with the rest of the order.

The recommendation to try Elevation burger came from the owner of the sub shop I frequent, so I knew I could trust it. He prides himself on the best and freshest ingredients, so when he went on and on about the burger place he went to and how fresh and good its ingredients were, I knew we had a winner. Definitely good burgers — especially for a quick service restaurant. The fries were excellent — they cut the potato in front of you and drop it in a fryer… you don’t get any fresher than that. The milk shakes were delicious — I had them add fresh mango and cheesecake to mine… mmmm. You can pick from a list of ingredients for the burger. The thing that threw me a little(and that honestly I thought was a bit deceptive) is that cheese is billed at 50 cents/slice. Ok, that’s about normal. But what they never tell you is that they automatically put 2 slices on the burger if you order cheese. In hindsight it makes sense, because the original comes with 2 patties(2 very small patties that basically make up a normal burger size). It just seems like a misleading way of charging $ 1.00 for cheese. The misleading billing, the fact that prices are a bit on the high side and the very stark atmosphere of the place is what kept it at 4 stars instead of 5. However, the food quality is truly excellent and I’m sure we’ll return.

I love this place. Their service is always great and the burgers rival Five Guy’s(which is one of my standards for burgers). Their ingredients are really fresh and I always feel good leaving that place. This was also my first experience with the«Super Coke Machine», which gives you TONS of options to choose from.

Tasty lettuce-wrapped grassfed-beef burgers. It’s nice to have another grass-fed option although I’m not a big fan of the 5 Guys/Mooyah style atmosphere. Burgers are priced reasonably($ 6 for the double meat & cheese). After my last visit, I noticed the menu has organic bacon toping listed too — not sure if this is new or I missed it previously, but I will be trying it soon. I’m on the fence between a 3 and 4 for this place. Looking at my other 4’s, I’m going with a 3… but don’t take that wrong, this is a very solid grassfed burger at a good price in a fast-food atmosphere. A nice option to have. Update — tried the bacon and it was good!

I’ve been to Elevation a few times because they will make a no-salt variation for my mother and I finally tasted hers so I’m qualified to write a review. The A-OK is generous. The meat is fine but the prep operation is abysmal. Stand at the cash register and look into the grill area and you’ll see what I mean… a jumble of fries and burgers and buns and cooks falling all over each other trying to keep track of orders. I didn’t see anything I would call unhygienic but with such a sloppy operation I wonder how often this area is refreshed and given a good scraping down. The other thing I don’t like is the counter service. I call in my order but there’s no pickup station. You wait at the counter for your turn behind the people who are ordering then tell them you called in an order and they have to wander around to find it. I suspect they are actually waiting till I arrive to start cooking it. I am thus very careful to repeat NOSALT and the one burger I tasted was indeed salt free so I can’t ding them on that but I am not confident I would get it without prompting.

More like a 3.5 experience, but tie goes to Elevation Burger. Burgers solid, very lean… great meat that tastes like it should. Kids love the drink machines, fries decent. Hoppin’ place most of the time, good text offers that I’ve used before, easy breezy.

We were headed back to my in-laws after an afternoon at the park and I was starving. What else is new when you’re pregnant? We passed by Elevation Burger and decided to make a quick stop before putting the lil one to bed. Since I“m not a big burger person I was bummed to see they didn’t have a grilled chicken sandwich on the menu. Instead I ordered a grilled cheese from the kids menu. I can’t remember the last time I had grilled cheese, but it was so good that I ate 2 of them. The french fries hit the spot as well. They also have a super cool coke futuristic coke machine that I“ve seen in a few fast food restaurants around the country lately. The little one enjoyed her grilled cheese as much as I enjoyed mine. I was also thrilled they had a changing table in the bathroom, which I’ve realized since becoming a mom isn’t always the norm. A changing table sure beats changing my kid in the back of a SUV! I’ve been to better burger joints(especially ones that serve grilled chicken sandwiches), but it was kid friendly and did the trick of filling me up… for at least a few hours.

So this is another permutation of the better burger phenomenon, only it’s more sustainable for yourself and the environment. Their prominent tagline is: ingredients matter. This means among other things, grass-fed beef and olive oil fries. Somehow the olive oil fries are greaser than normal. Also, healthier seems to mean less filling, so I’d overshoot on ordering. The burger definitely needs two patties and some of that elevation sauce. But they’re burgers for the common good, and I like that.

The burgers here are pretty good. They are not greasy and have a really clean taste. It is a little pricey for me. However, if you receive text messages from them, you will often get a text for a buy one get one free deal(for a burger)…that is the best deal in my opinion. Oh yeah… they have cinnamon iced tea which is really good…

Ok burgers but overall I really hoped I would be a bigger fan of this place since grass-fed makes for better beef. The burger patties at Elevation are 3.2 oz so if you want at least a ½ pounder it’s a toss-up between ordering 2 or 3 patties. Be careful as 3 will make for a rather expensive widemouth burger. I will give them the benefit of the doubt because the other offerings were worth recognizing — fresh salads, wide variety of toppings(like the hot pepper relish which I did enjoy), and the welcome substitution of american«cheese with» Sharp Cheddar. Once slice for every patty at that. Despite the fact that I am more than happy shell out for quality, no one in their right mind goes to a $ 50 per plate restaurant and asks for their rib-eye or salmon well done. In the same light, who would want to take a patty of grass-fed beef and turn it grey all the way through? In my mind that could be the only thing keeping these burgers from being called«great».

Went to Elevation with a friend of mine who heard about the place. Service was quick, not very many people in the store at 11:30 today. I ordered the Elevation burger(double patty with cheese) with ketchup/mustard/raw onion. I also ordered the fries as well. The burgers are small(like In and Our or Mooyah) so the double meat is the way to go unless you want a small burger. Overall, I liked the burger. I’m not sure if it was seasoning or the quality of meat but there was a different flavor/texture than most burgers I’ve had. The fries were decent but not my favorite of the burger chains. My ticket was about $ 11 with the double meat burger, fries, and drink.

I love burgers. I will try any burger, any time. The burgers at Elevation are very tasty. As you no doubt know by reading the other reviews, the beef here is organic, grass-fed beef, the juicy kind that comes apart; real cheddar cheese, and fresh veggies. My only drawback is the price. Elevation Burger doesn’t offer any combo deals of any kind. Bummer. Yes, I know we pay more for organic, grass-fed beef; I get that. But a double meat patty was very small, about the size of a big mac, and it was $ 5.99.(It doesn’t help that the meal is served in a huge metal tray, dwarfing the food items within) The fries are not even close to being soggy. I have no idea where that came from. Mine were delicious, thin and crispy. But, they are $ 2.69. Fountain sodas are one-size only, $ 1.99. Total = $ 10.67 and for me, this is gallon sized price for a pint sized meal. The burgers are tasty, though.

Inexpensive. Many organic choices. 2 veggie burgers. Awesome fries fried in olive oil. One of the coolest fountain drink machines I have ever seen. This place is the shiz-nit. I paid more at Burger King. You HAVE to try this place! REALLY!

Verdict? Sadly, meh. I read the news about Elevation Burger. I allowed 2 weeks after their opening to let them work out the kinks. Returned again 4 weeks later to give them a second shot. Elevation simply doesn’t do it for me. The IDEAS behind Elevation are wonderful: grass-fed beef, and healthier fries in fried in olive oil. I’m a sucker for this kind of stuff, and would easily have made Elevation burger my fave spot, IFONLY the food were delicious. But, it’s not, and a tasty new Mooyah is right around the corner. Granted, Mooyah doesn’t serve grass-fed beef, and their fries are not fried in olive oil. But, boy do they taste better. The beef at Elevation is definitely different. I can’t say I prefer it over fresh beef from upscale burger joints. Perhaps if I grew up in Argentina. Surprisingly, the vegetarian options are not very tasty either. You’re better off with the black-bean veggy burger at Mooyah. Olive oil sounds like a healthy solution to a problem, but instead creates a bit of an un-crunchy fry mess. Makes sense if you think about it: lower oil smoke point = less crispy. Too bad: my cardiologist would have been happier. Burger buns are a low-end Wonder-bread joke… might as well head to White Castle. Soda fountain gizmo is kinda cool, until it makes you wait in line to get a soda and then requires a software reset(both visits). Service: inefficient. Granted, they were busy on our last visit, but you shouldn’t be scrambling after being open for 2 months. Some process improvement folks could easily streamline the entire order & delivery scene. Bottom line: lots of better options within a few minute drive(Jack’s Burger House for the old-schoolers, Mooyah for french fry goodness, Twisted Root for whacky burgers, Keller’s drive-in, Chip’s Old Fashioned Burgers, etc.) 1 star for taste. 4 stars for championing some great ideas for burger joints. 1 star for execution. To reviewer«Coston M.»: I simply don’t understand the IN-n-OUT comparison. Elevation = high-end east-coast grass-fed olive oil health burger IN-n-OUT = mid-tier west-coast SoCal hype 1950’s burger Totally different concepts, neither really very good.

Walked in the door on a Sunday afternoon and was met with the reverberating noise of children yapping and yelling. Highly annoying. They really need to do something with the space to absorb some of the noise. Didn’t have to wait too long in line, maybe they have worked out a lot of the kinks. They have a pretty good drink selection: Mexican coke, Dublin Dr. Pepper, Boylan sodas and a Coke freestyle machine. No beer though. The burger itself was pretty tasty. It was not too big and not greasy at all. The bun was a bit too bread-y and could have been toasted a little longer. I was not a fan of the elevation sauce. The fries were okay, nothing to write home about. The side salad was a joke: $ 2.49 for a bunch of lettuce and one tomato wedge. From a place like this, I would expect a little more for a side salad. I admire what they are doing(grass-fed beef, quality ingredients) but am not really impressed with their execution. If I went back again, I’d just order the burger and skip the rest.

Used a free pass day off of Weight Watchers to travel down to Elevation Burger and hopefully find the burger of my dreams. Instead, I was left dreaming that I had used those precious calories somewhere else. I recognize that this place is fairly new but they had been open at least a few weeks when I visited but still seemed really lost. It took about 10 minutes to take one person’s order and no one could figure out how to fix the soda machine. Despite that, all would have been saved with a good burger. Didn’t happen! The In-N-Out looking presentation made me perk up upon first sight but the burger never achieved anything remotely close in flavor eventhough I had caramelized onions added. Luckily extra ketchup helped me finish it off. The fries seemed really oily and did not impress either. I did add one star because the folks were really friendly and did a good job keeping the dining room clear of trash. Sadly, Elevation will not be rising to the top of my burger list.

The latest entry in the In-N-Out category. I take my burger rankings very seriously. And normally buzzwords like«grass-fed» at least get my attention. But in this case– the burger actually tasted like grass(no, the kind front lawns & golf courses are made of). Gross. But hey, maybe it was just this one batch? Meanwhile, the fries had a good flavor(they’re fried in olive oil), but were sad and limp.

Grass fed beef makes great burgers. Maybe it’s all in my head, but the beef just has more flavor(or flavour). The burgers are not overwhelmingly big, which runs contrary to Texas tradition, but makes them a heck of a lot easier to eat. Veggie burger #1 is quite tasty as well. For you hybrid lovers out there, they even have a veggie burger meat combo called, «Half the Guilt.» It’s pretty tasty, but in my mind you need to pick a team and play on it — at least while you eat. Skinny fries cooked in olive oil while you wait(so yes, they are hot when you get them). Maybe a little on the oily side, but since olive oil is good for you, stop worrying and eat them already. If you really cared, you wouldn’t have ordered the fries anyway. They make a big deal about fresh ingredients, and they are right. They have great pickles and I really like the hot pepper relish. Other burger places use quality ingredients, and yes, one is close by, but not at this price point. The staff is cheerful, helpful and happy. Maybe this is just because the restaurant is new, but I am optimistic it will stay that way. Be careful, or they might learn your name and start calling you by it. I did not try the shakes this time, but saw many satisfied customers getting them. They do have the CocaCola video game soda dispenser — kind of a gimmick if you ask me, but if you like it, great! For my money, the cane sugar sweetened bottles of soda are the way to go — try Birch Beer! I hope this one is here to stay!
