Amazingness! Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. We will be back.

My nephew visiting from California wanted a burger. I asked if he had ever been to Snuffers, he said no and we decided to stop in. I bragged about the cheese fries so we got the large with the works with his cheeseburger. He couldn’t believe his eyes when the cheese fries arrived and we dug in. He was quiet when the burger arrived and he dove in, finishing the burger in less than 3 minutes. This was his first visit and he said that this would be a stop in every time he comes to Texas.

We walked in as a large group later in the evening after a game at the AAC. We were seated immediately and had the wonderful opportunity of Isaac taking care of our table. The restaurant wasn’t too busy, but Isaac had our entire section and he handled all of this professionally and efficiently with a great attitude. The food, of course, is FANTASTIC and always fresh and cooked perfectly. The cheese fries are a must and the cheeseburger is the best I’ve ever had! The atmosphere in the two story restaurant is upbeat and fun. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and ask for Isaac!

I was impressed (as a non-​burger eater!). The veggie burger, which is made in-​house (not a frozen patty), was pretty tasty. Our server, Liz, was super attentive and professional. She took great care of us even though we were a large group split amongst two tables.

Always loved snuffers but waited an hour for food and only ordered cheese fries and burger and servers ignited us. Came with my 9 year old daughter only. Saw many people leave upset. Service is clearly an issue

Has this place gotten better? Is gotten a word? I don’t think it is, but I do think this location of the Snuffers franchise has amped it up.
First – I’m a big fan of cheese. Snuffer’s cheese fries are like porn. And now they add Swiss to make it creamy. Sometimes the have green chilies. I’m getting all hungry just thinking about the bacon and ranch.
And while known for the burger, I really like the dog and sweet tater fries. Nathan’s all beef. Also marinated chicken nachos come in a half order. That way I can have it all.

The food was good. It took longer to get our food than I thought necessary when the restaurant had maybe a fourth of the tables full. The restroom on the first floor looks like an old gas station restroom. It’s in very poor condition. Really surprising considering the area the restaurant is in.

Best loaded cheese fries! I don’t eat meat so get it without the bacon. Complete deliciousness!!!

Waited a couple of days to post a review because I wanted it to be more factual than emotional. My dining companion & I arrived on a Thursday night just before 7 pm. «Seat Yourself» was a challenge because while there were empty tables, few were bussed and clean. Waitstaff were scurrying and passed by the table several times but it was close to 10 minutes before any one stopped to take our order. Did I mention that our table was next to the computer where staff type in orders? It was impossible to not notice us.
Our server was sweet but seemed awkward as if she’d not been a server very long. She took our order — 1 turkey burger classic w/​cheese, 1 veggie green chile burger, small cheese fries, order of fried pickles, a sweet tea & bottle of beer w/​glass of water. She asked if we wanted the fries & pickles before the burgers, we enthusiastically said yes as we were hungry.
The tea arrived promptly, had to remind about the glass of water. Beer arrived about 10 mins later. It was another 10 minutes after the beer that the burgers arrived (???). We were told then that the kitchen was short-​handed & the sides would be out soon. The burgers were prepared correctly and were tasty. We were halfway through the burgers when the sides arrived. Some apologies were said. Sides were hot and prepared well.
Server refilled the tea and checked on us a couple of times. A man stopped by and asked if the food was ok; we said yes but he moved to another table before we could comment about other issues. Since my companion & I were engaged in lively discussion at the time we didn’t make the effort to call him back.
We asked for the tab and the server had posted 2 veggie burgers + the turkey burger. She apologized and returned with a fixed tab which we paid and then moved toward the restrooms before leaving. We saw the man at another table where it was obvious the diners were lodging a complaint.
As we passed by some servers watching the exchange, they were discussing how to later explain to the man their side of the story which one of them proceeded to do just inside the alcove where the restrooms are located while I waited for my companion at the bathroom door.
I frequently eat at the Addison location with very positive results; I’ve eaten at the Greenville location many times over the years and never experienced anything like this.
It’s clear that they needed someone to bus tables — I’ve seen managers do it in a pinch at other restaurants. I also know that when kitchen staff is short that managers can at least expedite plates if they can’t cook. And maybe the manager thought a Thursday night would be okay for a new server to earn her stripes.
My companion & I were accommodating at the time because we’d both had a difficult work day and just wanted to relax while having comfort food (cheese fries OMG and FRIED PICKLES). We tend not to complain because we know and understand what it’s like to be short-​handed and in the weeds.
So this review is posted as a gesture to our server and the establishment to use to improve their performance. The food quality was great. The timing of the sides and drinks was terrible. The restaurant was not tidy and welcoming. These are things that can be rectified. Please do so & we’ll be happy to return and update the review.

I had my first dining experience at Snuffer’s recently and I am a huge fan. Excellent customer service, great food (crispy chicken salad is my favorite), and very clean. I look forward to coming back again soon!

No stars at all… If I could…
Just got a crispy chicken salad at this establishment, and there was a living worm crawling around in it.
No joke.
They took the plate away before I could take a picture.
The manager (Andra Giddings) told me this things can happen when you cook in this volume.
He proceeded to take the salad off the bill big whoop.
Who knows what other crap they serve here.
The entire staff could not have cared less, at least that’s how they presented themselves.
And to finish after I asked for his name he got frustrated and said «fine do whatever you need to» after I told him I was posting on Unilocal!
Never coming here again.
And I will be contacting their corporate and and health department, since these things happen is not an acceptable explanation to me.

Don’t expect service here. We sat upstairs and it took 5 minutes to get recognized, no one was cleaning tables, and then 7 more minutes to get drinks. The food was good, but the lack of service ruined the whole experience.

Food was excellent. Service was non-​existent. Hubby had to go get our drinks after they sat at the bar for over five minutes.
The goal was to sit here and watch March Madness. I cannot leave fast enough. Sad part is, we tip very well for service.
Cannot recommend if you want an attentive staff.

There’s certainly better places to grab foot and drinks than this place. While the food was good, the ambiance of the restaurant and service were lacking.
Overall the food was on par with my expectations. The fried pickles were quite delicious and I’d recommend giving them a try.
On the downside, the beer was warm and flat and after returning it, the server still had the courtesy to charge us for a beer that we didn’t drink. This place could be better with some updating and better service.

The Dallas burger scene has grown up quite a bit even since Snuffer’s extended its operations from its fixture on Lower Greenville. Their simple menu, which fits neatly on small laminated cards that stay at the tables, remains unchanged. It’s seat-​yourself, but there is waiter service. They have a handful of burger combinations, but they remain comfortably inside the box. There are also chicken and vegetarian options and salads. The real mainstay, though, which will keep me wanting to come back from time to time are the cheese fries. They come with cheddar, bacon, chives, jalapenos, and ranch. It seems like a simple idea, but no one does them better.

Stopped in to Snuffer’s on a Saturday afternoon and we were really pleased with our visit. There isn’t much to the ambiance of the place, pretty plain and simple.
When we entered it wasn’t too busy so they let us seat ourselves (not sure if they do this all the time). Rod picked the BIGGEST table for the two of us… our waiter seemed kind of agitated about that, but hey, you said where ever we wanted!
They had $ 1 Bud Light Drafts that day — win/​win. Everything else doesn’t even matter. LOL. After looking over the menu, I opted for the black angus steak strips and Rod got a burger… oh yes, and I can’t forget the cheddar fries for an appetizer.
Who knew cheddar fries could be so good? We got the small, which, at first, I thought wasn’t going to be enough for the both of us, but when they brought us the plate we were both intimidated lol. They were so good!!! I see why everyone rants and raves about them! I can’t even put into words how good these fries were. It was cheesy, bacon topped heaven. Rod enjoyed his burger and the steak strips were very good as well. I can’t rant and rave about those because the cheesy fries really did steal the show.
Now go to Snuffer’s and try the cheesy fries!!!

Came here around lunchtime on friday with 2 friends, and it was kinda packed, which is a good sign. After about 3 minutes waiting for a table, we got seated on the second floor near the window (i didn’t even know there was a second floor, this place is quite large!) and were very rapidly attended to. To start with, the service was phenomenal, cheerful, helpful and attentive servers who were quick to bring food, drinks, refills and even our checks at the end.
Since it was lunchtime and we were going back to work after, that got alcoholic drinks out of the picture (me = sad panda), but the food was more than sufficient to keep us happy. I got the ½ lb, blue cheese and bacon burger, and it was huge, enough to fill me up, and i was hungry to start with! I didn’t need any sides, although the fries were good (i tried one from a friend)! MY friend recommended the chili-​cheese fries, and they looked amazing but a meal by themselves, so be fore-​warned… My friends had a green chili burger and a cheese burger, and they both loved their food!
Overall, a delicious burger! I will be back :)

Not gourmet, but doesn’t try to be.
If you’re looking to lower (or maintain) your cholesterol, don’t order what I did (cheesy fries and the green chile burger), but if you’re looking for greasy, comfort food goodness, I recommend it (and be sure to wash it down with an on tap Shiner for three).

Shit service on a non busy day. I say upstairs & never was approached for a drink, order, water or anything. I asked and they still never sent anyone. They finally found the worst waiter ever & he proved to be incompetent. Customer service is apparently no longer important here. I spent way too long trying to be patient but I finally just got up and left. When I approached the manager on my way out he really didn’t see to care at all.
Snuffers you suck and lost a customer for life. I hope this review helps with all your companies recent struggles. I hope you guys close soon. The moral of the story is don’t come here.
