This is Chipotle for the health conscious. It’s probably one the healthier things you can eat in downtown Dallas for lunch, and as a result I go there a few times a month. I regret many of these experiences. The service comes in two varieties: Busy and flustered or slow and disinterested. There’s really nowhere in between. Come early/late to miss the line and the laconic gazes of the staff will take a full minute to notice you’re standing there waiting to order and another minute or two to puzzle through actually entering your order. At least one of them will find a way not to be working. Come during the rush and prepare yourself for an arduous wait and for them to screw up and/or not understand your order. There are really no other options. The food itself is fine. There are healthier options, which is great, but you pay for that in bland here. They keep siracha by the delivery station. Make liberal use of it, because whatever drizzle of dressing on your bowl will not mask the boredom of the ingredients within. Still it’s nothing you’d regret eating– and that’s saying a lot for some of the nearby lunch options. It’s also less likely to kill you, so I keep coming back, suffer through the service, and drench my bowl in Siracha. It’s better than a burger and fries.

Bleh. I got the Buddha Satay bowl and am not so impressed. The noodles were either undercooked or old. It was 90% noodles, 10% vegetables. Despite getting a spicy lemongrass sauce it was super bland and soupy, the sauce didn’t stick to anything. Definitely not worth the $ 8+

Just what I had in mind. Nice little place full of fresh vegetarian options. The owner recommended the lemon grass soup. It was awesome. I also had the tofu Tex mex burrito which was yummy but, big enough for two.

Good, wholesome food for people who want food that doesn’t set off a diabetic coma. Whole grains, beans, fresh produce. Tasty and healthy.

Shocked, disappointed and a little angry that follow up was so poorly handled. I placed an order that was incorrectly made. When I returned to my office and began to eat the soup, I noticed that the tofu that I paid for was not in the soup. I immediately called the store. The employee that answered advised that I could bring it back, she could bring me some tofu or I could pick up a replacement tomorrow. I opted to pick up a replacement as I was very pressed for time. She told me to call in my order so that all I had to do was stop by and pick it up the next day. Upon doing so(mind you I walked several blocks in 100+ degree weather), the apparent manager would not honor what the employee told me when I initially reported the problem. The manager instructed his cashier to charge me full price(minus the cost for the missed ingredient — tofu). I explained what I discussed with the other employee and asked him to honor that. He refused and offered to only charge me half price. I have NEVER been to a decent restaurant(kiosk in this case) that had the audacity to charge, full price or otherwise, for correcting their mistake. Not to mention that my sole purpose for walking over on yet another 100+ degree day was to pick up the complementary replacement offered to me by the person I spoke to. Very disappointed and hope other locations have better customer service skills.

Great balanced food, friendly staff, only drawback is occasionally long wait times during lunch hour.

Their food is healthy and delicious. If you call to have something delivered, however, they use the excuse that there’s only one person at the store, and are unable to. They should staff accordingly or just not claim that they deliver if they don’t.

Salad size wasn’t as much as the other salad shops I visited. But equally as expensive. Although the flavor is decent.

Great menu. 12:30pm and no line. Staff friendly. My bowl was great. Avocado chicken rice corn black beans… Spicy BBQ sauce was good(a bit too much sauce for me though).

I wanted something light for supper so I went to this place to get a nutrient rich smoothie. I wanted to make my own so I opted for it to be frozen with strawberries, avocado, and dates. Unfortunately they don’t do dates anymore so I decided for coconut milk. This smoothie was the best smoothie I have ever had. I watched the employee make it with all real ingredients!!! It was so rich and delicious! I have a feeling I will be back many many more times!

This is a great casual spot for super clean food. Kinda pricey but worth it for quality. Everything is assembled individually so it’s particularity good for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters alike which I really appreciate. BUTTHEBLARING! MUSIC is pretty sucky. Like being in a teen clothing store– intended to eat there but couldn’t deal with that. Get it to go!

The name initially drew me here, and the food turned me off. I waited in line behind a ton of other people, only to be rewarded with a soggy spinach salad with canned, generic ingredients and a bottled salad dressing. womp womp.

A bit pricey but definitely worth it. I love their burritos(any of them) and definitely their green smoothie… well, any of them actually Great vibe and the people behind the counter are quick and efficient

This place was just okay. I had the Mediterranean bowl, and while it was good, it was just way overpriced at over $ 11 for a simple salad bowl. It was a fine place to meet my friend for a quick lunch, but I’m not sure I’ll be back.

The employees outnumber the customers, but this is the slowest place to get lunch. Employees are interrupting each other, sulking, pouty. The employees are interrupting the cashier from completing the sale and each other from preparing the food. Too bad, I like the concept, and as they change the menu I like it more, but this store had never had efficient employees. Employees at Freshii do not care when the employees are served, if ever, or if they return. Lots of personal conversations and disputes behind the counter. Forget Freshii

I stopped by here for a smoothie after my doctor’s appoint and got the freshii green smoothie. The staff was friendly and offered me great input on which smoothie to go with. It took a little longer than I thought it would because they only have one blender that they use. The smoothie had avocado, kale, spinach, green apple, pineapple, and frozen yogurt. Sooooo gooood!

So in an attempt to eat healthy after a weekend of eating terribly I ventured over to Freshii for lunch. I decided to try the vegan chili bowl featured on the signage– brown rice, chili, broccoli(subbed tomatoes), and avocado. I then waited and received my less than half filled bowl sat on the counter in front of me with no acknowledgement. I looked at it, and since my server had already walked away I asked the closest worker if this was a typical serving size. «Yes,» she said. Totally disappointed with that. It was mostly brown rice with a layer of chili and lukewarm. Um… Beans and rice are the cheapest pantry staples and you have the nerve to be stingy with them?! I got a third of a bowl for $ 8.65. Suck it, Freshii. Next time I’ll go across the street to Jason’s deli or walk the extra distance to Salata where at least their overpriced salads are full and satisfying.

This is a nice option for someone not wanting fatty food for lunch yet a healthier choice with grains and fibers at a reasonable price. If you’ve been staying in a hotel for a while and feel like you are lacking veggies this is a good place to visit. Wanted the Falafel bowl but it was out so instead ordered the Mediterranean; half quinoa and half salad greens, kalamata olives, red onions, feta cheese, cucumbers, cilantro, roasted red peppers, tomatoes almonds with a red pepper sauce. There are many vegetarian friendly items on the menu including«burritos» or wraps.

After a free gelato breakfast sampler, and as it neared 1pm I craved something healthy but substantial. I stopped by to say hi to my friends at Freshii who offered to buy me lunch. How could I say no. «Do you want to see the calorie count info?» Donny knowingly offered me two laminated info cards and with bowls hovering in the 500 calorie range: I was in. Everyday there is a $ 5 special. So I got the Baja bowl and added chicken. A bowl of just real food — quinoa, raw cabbage, and pico was pure nutrition. For your fat girl thirst you can also get burritos or wraps, but it’s still good for you. Juices too. Once again, downtown Dallas has a winning lunch option.

I’ve walked by this place several times, but never when I was hungry. Today I made a plan to check it out. Just by appearance it comes across as a healthy eating venue. There’s lots of green and bright colors in the décor and it has the small café feel. I’m not a vegitarian so I want some real meat in my diet. Their menu has a variety of protein options even for meat eaters like myself. I ordered the Baja burrito and added the steak option. I was fairly tasty. I think I might need to find some extra seasoning to give it the flavor to my liking. The cost wasn’t expensive for lunch. It’s actually a very practical option. Service was friendly and prompt. No complaints from me. I’ll have to check out their wraps or salads on my next visit.
