KFC

Service is slow. They were not prepared for Saturday’s lunch time. They ran out of sweet tea and they were 15mins behind ever meal. Everyone in the resturant were frustrated with the slow and incompetent service. I wish have went to Church’s.

Service is nonexistent, waited at the clutter for a longtime even though there were kids running around in the kitchen area who saw me. The dining area is disgusting… tables and chairs are sticky like they use the same rage they clean the counters with. I can imagine what their house looks like. I guess it’ll be a while before I accidentally come here.

I always celebrate MLK Day with fried chicken. Don’t get offended, it’s the same way I celebrate Juneteenth.
It would probably be way too much food, but I ended up ordering an 8-​Piece bucket of drumsticks. I wanted all my pieces extra-​crispy, but they only had 3 drumsticks in that variety. Supplementing with some original recipe drumsticks was my only option, so it would have to do. The bucket also comes with two large sides. I always go for the mac and cheese. My other favorite KFC side dish is potato wedges. Unfortunately, at the KFC/​Long John Silver’s combo locations they only serve regular fries. Pro tip: You can get Long John Silver’s hush puppies as a side with your bucket o’ chicken even though they’re not listed as an option.
The biscuits were kind of dry and dense as usual. The mac and cheese could have been better too, but I knew what I was getting into from the beginning. My hush puppies, on the other hand, rocked. Crispy outside, doughy outside. They were also pretty well seasoned.
As for the chicken, it had it’s pros and cons. The original recipe chicken had a great flavor from the seasoning. That being said, the batter was sadly very soggy and slumped off the meat with little effort. Most of my original recipe drumsticks were pretty much batterless by the time I got them home. The extra-​crispy chicken is far superior to original recipe. I don’t even know why there’s another option besides extra-​crispy. Today’s sampling was a touch too salty, but otherwise delicious.
Overall, it was pretty tasty for fast food. It’s all horribly fattening, so it’s a good thing I only eat KFC twice a year.

Deep fried original recipe hockey puck. Yep… that’s what it is. I don’t usually review fast food places unless I have something specific on my mind. I saw the commercial for the new boneless breast meal for $ 5. It has been specifically on my mind since seeing said commercial. I’m a big fan of the bone-​in original recipe chicken breast.
I was disappointed. First of all, it’s little. I know I’m an eater, but seriously. I brought them home for lunch and my bffj said «uhhhh» while holding it up «where’s the rest of it?»
Second, it was over cooked. Parts of it were fried so hard you couldn’t eat it. It was 11:30 a.m. You might get a bye if it were after 3 p.m. and I could say it’s been sitting out or the grease was old, but nope. This should have been fresh and succulent and it was the opposite.
I will not be having this again. And really, I’ve not ever had good luck at this location. So, MEH KFC, just MEH.
