I came to Dallas to visit my friend and realized that my hair was a nightmare. Different lengths (not on purpose), one side was fried from bleaching. One more week and I could have starred in my own horror movie. I decided on a whim to cut off the mess. I called THREE salons before I found this one because they also all had good reviews and were closer to my friend’s apartment, but two wouldn’t answer their phones, and the third’s booking system was down and they were useless! Thank goodness though, because Tina saved me from my rebellious hair.
First of all, she answered the phone and was very helpful and got me in on a busy Saturday last minute. Unlike a lot of stylists I have dealt with, she actually listened to me when I told her what I wanted and then made adjustments with what would work best with my hair. The whole process took less than an hour and was very reasonably priced.
Tina was very sweet and attentive without feeling awkward or forced. Just natural conversation happening which was very pleasant. The best part of the cut is that she actually knew how to deal with my fine hair! My hair went from Bride of Frankenstein to Bride of FrankenFINE in 45 minutes! I will continue to visit my friend a couple times a year just so I can have Tina work magic on my hair!

I usually don’t write much reviews unless it’s worth it.
I go to Matthew Keys. He knows exactly what he is doing. Its very hard to find a barber who knows how to do great fades and style hair. He gets back to you in a timely manner and goes out of his way for his clients. He is a sweet guy and is truly passionate about his job.
Every time I get my hair cut from him I feel amazing. inside and out. You will feel like a trillion bucks after he is done with your hair.
Its best to book him for an appointment because he gets booked pretty fast.

This was my first experience at Labelle in hopes of finding the perfect cut.
Matthew Keys is a cut above the rest for those looking for precision, perfection, talent and charisma. Matthew was quick to answer my texts inquiring about a cut and booked me immediately.
Matthew’s personality is sharp, witty and entertaining! He kept me smiling from beginning to end which makes me feel good. Matthew listened to my wants and truly took my needs into consideration when he applied his skills and talent into the cut.
He gave me a perfect fade with a crisp neckline– edgy yet professional — along with his added signature line to really complete the look!
Matthew’s shampoo and conditioner treatment afterwards felt so good and made me feel refreshed.
His work is extremely clean, super efficient and he knows how to make you feel good by looking great. You have to come see Matthew at LaBelle!

Matthew Keys is FINALLY back!!! I have had a love-​hate relationship with Matthew after he left for Florida and I couldn’t find a good haircut around town to save my life!
Now that he’s back, it’s a big relief that I don’t have to go from place to place «hoping» that I walk out of there looking half decent. When Keys cuts my hair, he actually gives me advice on what would work and look best. I’m thrilled he’s back in town!

(I’m writing this review for Matthew, not for Labelle Salon.). Praise the Lord, the great Matthew Keys I back in town and he’s here to stay! This review is a little late, but better late than never! I met Matthew a few years back and every time I would go up to Dallas to have a haircut, he would hook me up. Not only does he do an AMAZING JOB, he’s also fun to talk to and will make you feel good as soon as you leave the chair. He has become a great friend throughout the years and he’s the only one I trust to get my haircut whenever I’m in town. Whenever I go to him and I tell him what I want and show him a picture, with my straight– pinpoint Asian hair, he’s completely honest and tells me «well your hair isn’t going to look like that because your hair is straight and the guy in the picture is a little wavy (or whatever,) but I can make you look better,». And Matthew does just that– he delivers and he makes me feel like a million bucks.
I’m usually pretty honest when it comes to writing reviews, usually I’m not this positive but when it comes to Matthew, words can’t describe his haircuts… Just go to him and let him take care of you and trust that he will do a fine job! If you have a style in mind, show him a picture and or tell him, he’ll work with what you have. Can’t wait to get my haircut by you again, Matthew, see you next week!

I only trust my hair to Carlos, he is amazing and always makes me look great. I have followed him through out and will continue to do so. Come see him for the best color, cut and definately highlights. For the best look, ask for Carlos Alberto Rocha.

Carlos is an excellent stylist! I haven’t found anyone else in Dallas that knows how to work with Latino hair than him. Great style, great color, haircut… Everything! I highly recommend him! He is an expert on color! :)

I searched high and low for someone to do something decent with my 1.5 year untrimmed hair and beard and Matt K. definitely pointed me in the right direction! Even though he wasn’t the person that performed the work, his input and direction really impressed me. Customer service and care are definitely something Matthew Keys excels at and I hear he’s pretty talented too! I highly suggest consulting with him before you decide where to go and what you want!

Matthew Keys is the word! Matthew is one of the best Barber I have ever come across. Professional and experienced. He listened to what I wanted and gave feedback where needed resulting in the best classic haircut I have received till date.

Nice, clean shop. Great area. Got a razor part haircut from Matthew K and I couldn’t be happier. He’s the best barber I’ve ever had! He’s always available and super friendly. You won’t be disappointed.
