I went to this bar a few weeks ago and it was nice. We only stayed about 30 minutes, but the service was nice and the place looked good. I’ll have to go back…

If you are looking for Dallas nightlife, this is a great spot. The combination of a restaurant on the first floor with a bar on the second floor is an attractive option. The food is neither too expensive nor exotic. The menu has something for everyone in your group. The dining room is well-lit and has tv’s for watching sports events(which I consider a plus). The upstairs provides a great atmosphere for letting loose and enjoying yourself with a DJ and experienced bartenders. There is a lounge area in the back and the patio is attractive on nice nights. The crowd is young(college/20’s) with an energetic vibe. Whether it be to have a bite or have a drink this is a great place to stop on Henderson Avenue.

Not the best $ 12 for a small chicken breast. The food was bland and so was the service. The menu is poorly planned, the meals are a joke. Knox has many better options. The best part of the meal was a cold beer. I will not be back.

Not even worth a star… enough said!!! Anyone who is rating this place with more than 1 star is any employee or doesn’t know any better.

I was a bit skeptical about celebrating a friend’s birthday here, because it seems like every time that I’ve pasted by since LB has opened at this location, it has been pretty empty. But it turned out to be a great idea. We were able to take over quite a few tables near the bar, and got great service by the staff. They were very attentive, but I do have a slight misgiving. The waitress did not know exactly how much the wine that I ordered would be sold for. My bill ended up being twice as expensive as she had led me to believe that it would be, but by the time I got the bill I we were on our way out and I did feel like taking issue with it. All in all, Lemon Bar has a nice vibe and is a good place to catch up with a few friends especially if you don’t want the pomp and circumstance feel of Uptown.

I had to write this review after reading the other reviews by people that must manage or work at this place. THISPLACEIS A JOKE. Its Knox Henderson, not Addison. This is the same bar the turned West Village into a Joke. They get kicked out of West Village and move next door to Fireside Pies. All along Know Henderson you have Classy nice restaurants. What is this place? Sports bar? Restaurant with Bar quality food? Dance Club? Its Pure Addison !!! The kind of place where you see people still wearing Affliction Shirts, and white shoes. The Drinks where lousy. They serve them in those smaller than average glasses. You can always tell a bar by there drinks and Glassware. Wrong Size Glass for cocktails. They want to squeeze a few more cents of profit. I don’t care about price, I want a Standard size cocktail glass like every other bar on the street. Plus when the bartenders cant keep up with drink orders on a slow night because they want to take there time flirting with the staff or female customers. The food cant compare to anyplace within 1000 feet of this bar. Its like a McDonald’s next 7 Five star restaurants. Victor Tangos, The Porch, Hibiscus, Tei Tei, Old Monk, Fireside Pies, and Vickery Park. Chef Ramsey would explode if he ate hear. MUSIC !! They had background music playing maybe from Pandora. Not sure but it was the worst stuff I have ever heard. That really bad American Idol singer bad. Then it would go from some Nickelback song to a Top 40 hip hop song to a Country Song. Addison sports bar play-list. The last couple times I walked by the place, it looked pretty dead except for people that looked like they walked in because they saw it advertised in the Dallas Observer. Now I hear they are bringing in DJs. Really !! When you have a Restraunt/Bar and bring in DJs its always a bad sign. Just look at West Village. Three places that brought DJs into a restaurant are no longer there. This place does not belong on Henderson. I bet it wont last a year. They should have moved to the lower Vacant Green ville Avenue. I had to be harsh in this review because it pisses me off when a Bar post there own fake reviews on here, and I don’t want to see a great area ruined by this ADDISON type BAR.

This location has changed so many times. It used to be Cuba Libre and then a mexican restaurant. We wanted to check out Lemon Bar after dinner. We came here for a few cocktails after. This place was packed but we were seated quickly on the heated patio which is really tiny. The service was good. We did not have a chance to try out any of the food here but will come back. Fun place for drinks and catching up with friends.

Great place, awesome staff! The environment is nice but still comfortable and warm. Definitely a new favorite for me and my friends. Great drinks and vibe for ladies while awesome food and tv’s for football or basketball game watching for the fellas. 2 big thumbs up on the new spot.

This place finally re-opened as the Lemon Bar, and I’m a bit excited about this. Another cool restaurant in my hood! I love having more options nearby. This building was known as Cuba Libre for many years but went out of business. Another place opened soon after and tanked after about six months. Now we have the new location of the Lemon Bar! As far as food goes, I thought everything was really good considering I was told at the door that this was their second week in a «soft opening». She said most places do one day of a soft opening, but they wanna get as many imperfections out of the way as possible. I love it. Anyways, my jalapeño shrimp scampi over angel hair pasta was fabulous. I’m still thinking about it the day after. Check out my picture of it. It looks pretty awesome, I must admit. Actually, I was surprised I ate it all, because I had just had dinner at Victor Tangos an hour before. I ordered it thinking I’d get a to-go box soon after! Not so much. My friend had the chicken panini with coleslaw as his choice of side. It wasn’t on panini bread or pressed in a panini maker, but it still tasted very good! Granted. They are in their«soft opening.» I can’t wait to come back to get that same non-panini as an actual panini. It was good. I think it’d be easier if they just changed the name, but that’s just me. It was a good sandwich. As far as the rest of the place, they got HDHDHD and more HD!!! :-). Ha. I think I just like repeating HD in all my posts. Obviously, it’s not a rare thing. Upstairs, they have a small room perfect for clubbing on the weekend or gettin’ yo dance on! Not really my scene anymore, but I’m willing to go with a friend so we can be wallflowers until the liquid courage kicks in and pictures are taken of me dancing with hot ladies half my age that I’ll never remember. … Sorry. Um, they have a small patio as well. I hope they can expand it before patio weather comes back! Check out their website below. That’s all folks!

The dangers of judging a book my its cover. Very good looking and well decorated restaurant/bar, but severely lacking a drink and food menu. The menus were on loose paper with some foods in black ink, the others were in grey. We later found out that the foods written in black were the only foods available – perhaps 1⁄3 of the entire menu. Limited wine selection and no drink menu besides the beer list. Our table was dirty and service was poor. Food and drinks were both pretty good, but the overall experience was lacking. Perhaps when the restaurant is fully functional we’ll return; otherwise, we’ll go elsewhere on Henderson. Good for drinks and appetizers, if you have a lot of time on your hands.
