Logie’s on Beltline

I love this bar so very much. Me and my friend go here at least twice a week. The atmosphere is great, the music is good, drinks are A+, THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS (try the burger!) and… the bartenders are the friendliest people around. Unlike other bars where you are just another face at the bar, this place makes you feel like … you are in the show Cheers. (my friend and I referred to the bar as «The Cheers Bar» for the longest time). This music is not too loud so it is very easy to have a conversation and not feel like you are yelling at your friends.
The bartenders dont just serve you, they talk to you like a regular person or a friend. Let me just say, every single one of the bartenders and cooks is amazing. Reagan, Lauren, Jake, Jenna, Pablo, and Jose are just the kindest people. As a regular, they know my drink right away and dont putz around when it comes to refilling your drink. I love this place!
It wont let me select every day of the week as their best days to come. but believe me. its all good all the time!
Sometimes there is a live band, but they mostly play sports on tv.
Oh and there is the coolest guy with long grey hair and ray-​bans, he is just the coolest looking old man around town.

They fired all the staff and have ended up with the exact same problem: the female staff preens while the one guy hustles… hard. I have yet to have a positive experience with any of the new female bartenders. Getting my order completely wrong last night and constantly asking my boyfriend what type of cheese he wants on his Mushroom and Swiss Burger was the last straw. Close the back room: that’s fine I never played pool anyway. Fire the entire staff: lame move that changed nothing. I used to love coming here but now we’re looking for a replacement bar.

I saw a guy in a Yankee hat selling cocain to the bartenders. She was too busy getting high to make my drinks. I’ll never be back.

Simply put, this place is not what it used to be.
And on top of new staff and decreased customer service, they recently downsized by getting rid of the back room where the pool tables and dart boards originally were. The place is MUCH smaller now and the pool tables are in the middle of seating. I tried playing pool here two weeks ago and it’s cramped if two games are going at once. I can only imagine what it’d be like if people were actually occupying the surrounding tables as well.
Side note: you can still smoke inside here. Some people love that, as it’s one of maybe 3 places in Addison that you still can. Personally, I’d prefer more fresh air in here. I love when they keep the doors open.

This used to be my favorite bar. Today they got rid of all their staff. New bartenders suck. Not coming anymore.

service is a little slow, but shouldnt ruin the experience. smoking is allowed, and everyone was smoking but me. I was there only an hour and I smelled like an ash tray rest of the evening. not a fan of smoke, makes everything uncomfortable. place should have smoking on patio only or a designated smoking area with appropriate ventilation system.

Left there tonight, had a great time… The bartender was cool, the customers they bring in are mostly in the service industry after talking to a big majority of them but very cool fun crowd to hang out with… There’s 2 pool tables and a few dart boards, bunch of TV’s but it’s a large place so a little scattered, and many people’s favorite the golf game where you spin the ball and win money.
The way I felt being in here was as if I was a cool lake house type bar… No lake theme, just the way the bar and games are set up… In my opinion it’s a very appealing bar in that sense. I have yet to come back on a busy night and not a Sunday like today as well as to try the food which I have been told is killer… so I will update later.
Not the fanciest place in town but super cool place, great staff, great crowd, great atmosphere, and clean. I would definitely recommend swinging by.

The only thing good is the new DJ. He plays Wednesday and Friday and Saturday. I think his name is Bob, or Tom I don’t remember. But the ventilation is terrible, nothing but smoke. It’s 2015 get with the program, smoke belongs outside period.
Service is terrible, was here for 45 minutes before I was served and even then the drink was weak. So we left.

OMG are the fish tacos here AMAZING! Who knew? After a long night my husband was craving fish tacos and at midnight that is not an easy thing to come by. Being at Logie’s already for business reasons I asked the manager about their fish tacos, the staff started to rave about how delicious they were and I put in two orders. One for hubby and one for myself. Served with fries, which was odd but still delicious, they are full of fish. For $ 10 I will never go back to flying fish for tacos.

Great place to catch the game, especially by the bar. They do allow smoking indoors so might not be ideal for non smokers.

Just had lunch at Logie’s. Had the chicken fried chicken, it came with homemade mashed potatoes with homemade milk gravy and kernel corn. Absolutely delicious! ! I recommend this highly.
