Not so good, expectations were not very high considering its a buffet but somehow they did not manage to meet even those. Walked in the bathroom and they have not been cleaned well for a while, paint chipping from the walls and while that is not what you pay for that is indicative of the rest of the back-of-the-house. With all that said, price is right… if its quantity over quality this is the place for you.

I’ll pay buffet price just to get the hot n sour soup. I have been searching the DFW area for good hot n sour soup and this is the only place that has it! It’s seriously amazing and how hot n sour soup should taste like. No added spices The rest of the food is good also. Great selection, and the place is always packed during lunch so the food is constantly being switched out and is always fresh when I go.

We have been in Dallas a month and have eaten at a wide range of different restaurants. We are from the Midwest and have an amazing Sunday buffet at our local Chinese buffet. This was by far the Worst Chinese buffet i have EVER been to. Poor variety and selection of foods. Crab ragoon were tiny and have NO crab or cream cheese in them. They were basically fried wonton wrappers. Seafood delight had NO seafood in it… Was Only veggies in bland sauce. Potstickers had nothing available to dip them in. Bland to cardboard taste in most almost every thing. Lo me in was the only decent thing. And the fried chicken. We wasted $ 22.60 on 2 Sunday buffets. May just as well flushed it down the toilet with the quality and value of this food. I had to ask for my water to be refilled. The floor under our booth was filthy scattered in old French fries. They didn’t even have real ice cream. It was soft serve«ice milk». Horrible food. Horrible service. Dirty floors. Don’t waste your time or money on this place.

Oh my goodness! Mei Mei buffet oh do I love you! I’m from California’s bay area, half asian, and raised by a Chinese babysitter. My chinese food experience is impeccable! ! I’m fairly new to Texas, actually on my way to love back to CA and decided to stop by here because I was craving some crab. I was calling everywhere searching for some crab legs but Mei Mei went above and beyond and served whole salt and pepper blue crab. I sampled a variety of their foods and I must say it is by far the best tasting chinese food that I’ve had in the Dallas area. I also tried the crawfish… wish I’ve had twice and was not really a fan of… till Mei Mei changer my mind. I literally ate 3 plate FULLS of their crawfish which they abundantly filled often unlike the crab. The price is reasonable and the service is great. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the Dallas area!

Probably one of the worst Chinese buffets I’ve been to. Everything was way too over salted and definitely had a ton of msg in it. The sushi was absolutely disgusting — the rice was way too vinegary to the point where I had to spit it out. I love me some Americanized Chinese buffets and don’t normally have high standards, but this one unfortunately didn’t even meet that low bar.

Make sure to only eat things replaced frequently. I’ve been throwing up since a few hours after we left there. Only thing I ate yesterday. My husband and I had the same thongs except the crab Rangoon and I also had the cold shrimp. I’ll probably eat there again I’ll just be more careful.

I gave Mei Mei’s 4 stars because the price is right. For $ 8, you get a wide range of typical Chinese fare. In addition, I have gone at varying times and have never experienced cold foods… and I’ve gone as late as 2:00pm on a weekday. The bathroom is filthy. I would say to avoid that at all costs. But they do a good job of keeping the buffet stacked!

It’s not the fanciest of places but the buffet has a really good selection of choices and what I love is that you can get it to go!

I’ll start with the best items on the buffet: watermelon, melon, and one pastries. Everything else including the Chinese fortune was horribly wrong. It read«Life is a series of choices. Today yours are good ones.» WRONG!!! Someone please fire the chef and close this place down. I went here for lunch wanting to stuff my face with shrimp and veggies but I was deceived. I tasted all the items and couldn’t come up with any excuse other than the chef must die. Chicken over cooked(sometimes burned), only 1 shrimp entrée butter shrimp which is a sad badder salad shrimp with maybe fake butter? Meat on almost every place was blah and tough and to top it off most of the items were labeled incorrectly. No oysters by the way, no jalapeño shrimp or boil shrimp etc… only the cold peel yourself shrimp and that was bad too. Like it was left under water for ages and when you peeled it off, it was all mushy and of course they don’t even clean out the poop line on the shrimp. Service? I was alone and my waitress only came to me when it was time to pick up the plate and charge me. She didn’t even come back to actually process my card I had to get up and pay for it. Yes, I left a tip because I don’t think this is her fault but I am never coming back.

Is this place the best Chinese Buffet ever? No, but who the hell cares, it is fantastic for the price. $ 8 and change for all you can eat lunch. The great: They have a ton of varieties of chicken. Chicken teriyaki, orange chicken, sesame chicken, Mongolian chicken, pepper chicken, lemon chicken, sweet and sour chicken, chicken skewers… all are pretty awesome. The meh: All they pretty much have is chicken. They have broccoli beef, mongolian beef, orange beef, pork ribs and some other kind of sliced pork, but none of these dishes really hit the mark. This place really goes all out on the chicken dishes and then mails in the beef/pork as a «meh, looks good enough, just serve it.» The bad(not really bad, just kind of out of your control sometimes): If you are going to lunch during the week, get to this place as early as you can. There is a huge line that starts about 12:15, so if you are on a tight schedule, check something else out… you’ll definitely be late to that meeting that your boss insists that you go to, even though you really don’t have to be there. I pretty much guarantee that your boss won’t ask for your input on anything, but if you are even 30 seconds late, the people in the meeting will look so disgusted at you that it was as if you just got caught farting in an elevator. Corporate jerks. TL;DR: Really good CHICKEN! And lots of it. Get there early for lunch or you’ll regret it, Mr. «now I have to stand in line.»

Super clean and fresh! Great butter shrimp. Really a must try. Although I try to go during the week since it gets super packed on the weekends.

Not bad overall, we came in on a Tuesday night around 7:45. Food was abundant and relatively fresh. Same offerings that you’d expect from a Chinese buffet… very similar to NewNew Buffet in Carrollton. Try the Lemon pepper chicken, not really lemony or peppery, lol but dry and crispy. I recommend for a good general lunch or dinner.

This place has gone a little down hill. Was previously one of the best buffets in Dallas. Now, it’s plain, average, cold food. That’s right, the food is cold, all of it, and that’s a deal breaker.

Mei-Mei(we call it «Meow Meow» at work because we joke that some of the meat may have slightly suspect origins) is a large, clean, well-lit buffet restaurant and is always packed full of non-Asians at lunchtime. The food is thoroughly Americanized and not a single spicy thing on the buffet — including the dishes that are *supposed* to be spicy. If you want well-cooked non-spicy Americanized Chinese food and you want chicken done twenty different ways, this would be your place. Oddly enough, despite the lack of spice, the hot-&-sour soup is hot and spicy enough to rip the roof of your mouth right off! Overall, the food is inoffensive and inauthentic. You won’t die here, but you won’t be inspired either.

Came here for a quick late dinner and were pleasantly surprised. Lots of options including very fresh oysters. Service was unobtrusive and attentive. I am usually not a fan of this type of establishment, but this one win me over.

This used to be our go to place for our Chinese food fix. They have the best selection of food from sushi to fried rice. However, the last few times my husband and I have been the food has been lukewarm, if not cold. They have also raised their prices. With the cold food and the high prices my husband and I are looking for a new restaurant. The only time I would consider eating here would be right when they open, so I know that the food is hot and fresh and has not been sitting out all day.
