Mico’s Tacos

I hate to hurt any small business! But My husband and I had to cancel our order when we noticed the older male employee leave chopping lettuce to handle money at the cash register, and scratch his head on his way back to the prep table. Without washing his hands, he picked up his knife and resumed chopping lettuce. Gross!

No star is given. The worst food ever you pay for-​I can say from no tex-​mex food connoisseur aspect. How can they get a tenant permission inside of the hospital? The food is FAR from something you want to eat. I bought food in evening. Greasy, no dressing on taco salad (menu said gourmet taco salad!), improperly seasoned chicken, bitter taste iceberg lettuce drenched in canned black beans juice and grease from chicken bits, was prepared by somebody with no culinary experience seemingly… Yuck. Don’t buy food there. They need to be out of the hospital.

Sold an incomplete combo, was supposed to come with fries. The big problem was the chicken was bad. The meat that was supposed to be white was so grey it was nearly black, tasted bad, bones were rotting and broken. At first thought it was maybe just one then noticed that it was at least half the order. Stopped eating and tried to return to let them know chicken was bad. They refused to give refund, actually said «We don’t give any refunds. We can’t do anything for you. «In response to meat being bad they said «this is good meat». It is extremely concerning that this establishment is selling chicken like this but then trying to say that it is still good (it can only be assumed that they will continue to sell) and in a hospital no less. They gave a phone number that sounded like it went to personal phone and the person who answered didn’t seem to know what the place even was.

This is not a «Mexican «restaurant ! This is Tex-​Mex! What in the world is a «POOF TACO» go to Mexico & ask for it & they won’t know what the heck you’re talking about? I tried it this place again when it changed management & still not impressed ! I’ve eaten there a few times just to try out their food & they’re over priced & food is not good at all. They need to invest in a new menu board instead of taping papers signs all over the place with new items on their menu. It looks really tacky !

Good breakfast tacos/​burritos in the lobby of Building A at Medical City. Friendly, fast service. Set-​up reminds me of Chipotle but the food’s better and the price was very reasonable (under $ 6.00 for breakfast burrito and bottled water). Plate lunch was reasonable, too.
