I bought i7 surface book 12⁄19 for my Christmas present from my husband. When I took it out of box it would not power on so I charged it. Took it off charger and turned on. An ocean side screen saver with wrong date(Nov) and time appeared. I swiped up to a log in screen. Pen would not pair. No wireless networks detected but the two I have in my house were on my phone and active. I had not done any set up on this computer so my username would not work. I could not access any other screen/menu with a wipe. This was clearly a defective returned computer sold to me for $ 2700 as new. I could not call store directly and spent 20 waiting or going down menus before I got a person who offered to help me set up my computer a couple of times, even though I told him I wanted a new functional computer. I finally had to just ask for a number to store emailed to me. He did not do. So I will have to drive two hours to return this Computer. Never ever had this kind of trouble with Apple! We have 6 surface pros in use in our medical office. Makes me rethink our investment.

wanted to know where their hp computers were made, saw a group of employees and asked them, first guy started laughing at me, next guy got on his phone and said«look, palo alto california», i looked and it said company from palo alto but almost all hp computers made in china., not very good service, im sure most of their employees are very nice but the ones i came across are a waste of space

I didn’t buy anything from here BUT, my friend and I had a blast playing rock band! They have a drum set, guitar, microphone and it’s pretty much free for all. When we passed it the first time we stopped and played a song. I rocked out on the guitar and my friend mastered the drums. When we’re leaving the mall we stopped by and jammed out to two more songs before they closed(the workers were super chill). Pro tip: try to sing and play the guitar at the same time. Hold the microphone in the same hand that you strum with — yes it’s possible.

As an update, I had to go back to the store to get another replacement for my laptop. This time, there was no wait, and I was helped enthusiastically by the techs on staff. Hopefully the last time was a fluke.

Johnathan is a great tech and is very knowledgeable! Helped me with my keyboard and getting the internet working again! He is very nice and kind as well, was able to answer questions on the phone about my computer. Ask for him!

The stores are set up similar to Apple, but with less hipsters milling about. Unlike Apple that tents to have more spectators than shoppers, Microsoft is filled with knowledgeable staff and the customers are actual shoppers. Even cooler are the interactive video displays that wrap the store. If I could rate this 10 stars I would.

So it seems that the actual physical retail stores do not answer their phones. The calls then get re-routed to a call center where they can not tell you what products are or are not on the shelves in the retail stores. So a customer MUST physically go to the retail store to find out if the item is in-stock. THISSUCKS !!! REALLYBADCUSTOMERSERVICEPOLICY !!!

New windows phone assist was my reason for coming onto the store. Microsoft offers a number of excellent apps with the Window 8.1 phones, most are free. I was having trouble logging in to my account after closing a different email account. Several team members were available to help. I found the store very friendly, knowledgeable and my problem was resolved in less than 30 minutes. I have used Windows, Apple and android products and services over the past 20 years and was delighted with this customer service focused team of Microsoft product professionals.
