Salads — ask them to go easy on the dressing. You’ve been warned. The caesar is my favorite. Sandwiches — really tasty + you get a cookie! Vegetarian options! Soups — often pretty decadent(high fat) Cookies — you can’t go wrong here This place has good quality food for the most part. The bread is fresh, they have good menu choices, delicious cookies, but they are essentially a lunch restaurant and lunch is the worst possible time to try to eat there. Am I in the right line? Why is there so much chaos? Why is the staff in such a bad mood… every time?! I tried to eat here yesterday with someone. We had to stand in 2 different lines because she wanted a sandwich and I wanted a salad(I’m afraid to ask what you do if you want both, and in fact, I’ve never ordered both for this exact reason). Her line took 15 minutes to get through, mine took 5, then we were both aggrivated and hadn’t gotten to spend lunch together at all. Other factors that deter me are the price and the Pepsi products. But seriously, the service has been terrible for years. I only go here when I can be there at 11am before the crowds arrive, and enough time has passed that I can reasonably question whether the service could have possibly improved since my last visit.

Ordered lunch to go here and decided on the Paradise Club Sandwich. Disappointed when I unwrapped the sandwich. When someone mentions croissants, first thing that usually pop into your mind is a flaky, puffy, piece of bakery heaven… But instead I received 2 pieces of smashed, compressed, steam rolled croissant halves with ham, turkey, bacon, tomato, and lettuce in between. The filing was alright, would have been better with deli sliced meat and the bacon had the consistency of a bacon bit. I thought it was just me with the paper thin croissant sandwich, but my coworkers sandwich looked just as bad. If this is their normal way of handling a croissant, then I wonder how they treat their other breads… poor breads :(

Work upstairs from this place… its in the renaissance tower food court. People are not all that friendly, and its usually packed. Just want to say their soups-amazing; cream cheese chocolate brownie-more amazing.

Most muffins get boring in the middle. This muffin never got boring. In fact, I’m not even sure when I got to the middle! It was 100% excitement. I ordered the muffin and a ham and cheese croissant for breakfast on Friday. I ate half of both. The croissant was good. The cheese in there was fantastic. It was the perfect amount and had real good consistency. The best part about it though was the price. The 2nd best was that it was already made so no waiting. They warmed the croissant and the muffin up before giving it to me. I especially LOVE that they heated my muffin. I ate my apple streusel muffin over two days. There was so much cinnamon and sugar all over that thing that, the second day, the sweetness kind of made me sick. Hey! I like that. The massive amounts of cinnamon and sugar made eating the muffin a nonstop party. It’s not like other muffins where the top is the good part and the rest is a snore. Even the bottom of the muffin was fancy. There were strips of apples … or apple skin … or something that looked and tasted like apple throughout the muffin itself. I am now a big fan of these muffins. All together, this cost me about $ 6. I ate twice from this meal for $ 6. It was a great deal and I will go back!
