Ok. I’ve been back several more times now and I really do love it. The slices usually don’t seem fresh enough though, so you might as well just order the personal size pizza or larger. But the pizza is really yummy with so many options to choose from. I love that it’s a low key, laid back place. It has a cool, without being too hip, vibe. good place to go to eat well or just grab a beer and chill.

I used to love this place but I don’t think I’ll ever go back, last time I went the place wasn’t clean, I got bad vibes and the pizza was okay at most. Sad to see this place crumble, it was a special place, I’ll miss the brocolini and spinach pizza.

Seating before a show is tough, and the crowd is too clueless to be courteous. Good pizza though.

F what all the haters say. This place is great. The atmosphere is all chill vibes. They have super comfy couches you can sit on and it’s just kind of a chill spot. Definitely a great place to grab a beer and pizza with friends and chill. The vegan pizza was ONPOINT. I’m not fully vegan, but I’m trying to make my way there and I’m telling you I’m so satisfied. It was delicious. We got a vegan Margherita w vegan pepperoni and it was so delicious. If you’re not into hippie-type chill vibes, I could see how this place isn’t for you. But if you are and you want some dank pizza… This is your spot.

Vegan options are super tasty and there are plenty of options so definitely not restricted here. The environment and music is also fantastic, seems like a really great place to hang out if you’re tired of the same boring places. Definitely will come again

We went here tonight wanting to like this place, we started to go to Serious Pizza but wanted to check this place out. We walked in and it’s a nice cozy space and the pizza aroma was fantastic. The waiter promptly advised us to sit wherever we like and took our drink orders. I ordered a pint of PBR draft for $ 3.69 and my partner ordered a water. My beer came in a 12oz clear plastic cup, whatever it’s a 4 oz difference not the end of the world, but displeasing nonetheless. We decided to try the sofa king vegan, and then we waited to order it. I finished my beer and we waited for almost an hour without the waiter coming back to our table. At this point the place was less than ½ full. Finally I flagged down one of the staff and asked if we could order, he advised me that someone would be over to take our order. Several minutes later our waiter shows up and I ask for another beer. This time the beer comes in a full size pint glass. About 45 minutes later our pizza comes out. It was good, not fantastic but decent, I definitely liked their crust. So we eat and talk and the waitstaff never comes back to our table. We both had empty glasses We both felt like we were being deliberately avoided. Finally after us being obviously finished eating for some time, I got up from the table walked over to the waiter and asked for our ticket and a box. Inspite of knowing that we had been looked over all night and that my 1st drink was in a 12oz cup I was still charged for 2 full pints of beer. If you are looking to waist 2 hours on the shittiest service in Dallas and«just ok» pizza then this is your place. Otherwise go somewhere else.

Sofa King delicious. Like this hasn’t been said 8 million times since the place opened. For real, though… Vegan pizza is my jam and this place has some great options! The staff is super friendly, too.

I had the Salmon Smoked spread. Very good appetizer. I’d totally recommend it. Fried mozz was the only downside to my visit. Definitely would not order twice.

This place is a gem. The pizza here is just good. If you conf on a Tuesday you’ll even get them half off. Some of the really unique flavors and combinations of toppings here. Even if I need to save up my carbs l week to come here… I would. They can customize to what you want too. My favorite last time was the hawaian with sausage and macademia nuts… just very savory. The portions are nice and plenty as well so come hungry.

This place is amazing. I have found a haven for Veggie pizzas thanks to Unilocal! You see great atmosphere that’s laid back and serves strong drinks. You not go wrong with the vegan pepperoni but the regrumbah is divine but not for all. I prefer the regular cheese to daiya because I’m not vegan. Generally friendly and try to clarify again what the order was! Probably try the calzones soon.

Late one night my friends and I stumbled upon Pizza Lounge after going to an event downtown. Honestly, I think our noses took us here because the smell of garlic was seriously lingering outside. Regardless, our experience was fantastic! My friends and I ordered drinks which arrived promptly followed by the«Bottle Cap» appetizer. The Bottle Cap appetizer consisted of mushrooms stuffed with chicken, spinach, walnuts topped with swiss cheese. Amazing! Now for the pizza!!! After having a few drinks my friends and I decided to be adventurous and order one of their vegan pizzas. I really didn’t know what to expect because vegan food topped with vegan cheese can either be really great or just a complete miss. So, we continued to order the«Nickel Bag» pizza which consisted of sharp provolone, mozzarella, spinach, broccolini(my favorite), and white sauce. It was absolutely amazing! Not only was the food great but the atmosphere of this place is really laid back which definitely gives it character. The only thing I wished is that I lived closer! By far one of the best pizza places in town… hands down!

Veggie-friendly pizzas, very friendly staff! Pizza Lounge is exactly what the name says — a relaxed lounge atmosphere, comfortable beat-up old sofas, and staff that greet you like you’re family… Oh and did I mention they have the best damn pizza in town?! If you’re vegan or vegetarian their menu totally caters for you. Every meat pizza has a veggie equivalent and they all taste great! It’s a real slice of Dallas!

Love everything about this place: the food options, the awesome service, the divey/comfortable vibe… there’s nothing to not like about Pizza Lounge! Entering the corner door, you’re greeted with a spot with a divey feel to it. Dimly lit, a monitor here and there on the walls, some mismatched chairs at this table and that. It has the vibe of most places in this area of town… very laid back and welcoming. Once we sat down, we were greeted by the friendliest service that I’ve had in a while. The people that work here are the type that you feel like you’ve known forever and feel like you can joke around with them the minute you meet them! The menu has a lot to offer. They have a wide variety to choose from ranging from the heavy meat eater options all the way to vegan options. The most important part of this is that they do all of these options VERYWELL!!! I ordered the vegan Nickel Bag. This pizza has a lot going on. The light, crunchy crust, the flavorful sauce, the surprisingly tasty vegan cheese, and topped off with a mouth full of freshness!!! A pile of bright green broccolini and spinach!!! The combo is sooo good and bright. not just bright to your eyes, but your taste buds as well. The Nickel Bag brought a lot to the table, and I think that may be my regular go-to pizza whenever I come here from now on. Another big plus about their menu is that they offer tons of Vegan options! Pretty rare for most pizza spots, but they are here… take note! There’s something for everyone here! You can’t go wrong with pizza, and you definitely can’t go wrong with Pizza Lounge. Right across from Fair Park, and conveniently right across the street from the DART station! Next time you’re on the green line, jump off at this stop!

Along with my now favorites(Nickle Bag Pizza and Pear Gorgonzola Salad) we tried the Salmon Spread this time. WONDERFUL! The salmon is smoked on the premises and chunked to make this tasty heaven! Top it on the garlic toast and it can be a stand-alone meal… add a salad to get some veggies in there! Absolutely yummm!

This is a fun little place with good pizza and a better vibe! I really enjoyed it. I went late night with friends on a Monday night so we had it to ourselves. The buffalo mozzarella pizza(?) was delicious, even if it was ordered that late. And if you want To continue the party, just turn the corner and head over to Amsterdam bar. ~Carpe Diem~

Pizza Lounge has become my standby when I’m heading to a show at the Ochre House Theater or when a late night hankering for pizza strikes and I want to chill for awhile without messing around with parking in the busier parts of town. The ambiance is unpretentious, laid back and informal, yet cool and reminds me of college. Light fixtures with colored glass harken to the ‘60s & ‘70s, broken down sofas and lounge chairs force you to kick back and lounge while enjoying your pizza. Local art hangs on the wall, waiting to be purchased. Music is always enjoyable — usually something alternative in its essence, but of varying eras. I totally dig their pizzas here and so has everyone else I’ve brought along with me. They have great preconceived combinations of toppings, as well as create-your-own. My favorite is probably the«Sofa King»… it has Sofa King many toppings, including spicy peppers, locally made italian sausage from Jimmy’s, veggies and lots of gooey melty cheese… It is Sofa King tasty and I always end up Sofa King full when we order it, but so Sofa King worth it… Okay, I’ll stop with that now. I have tried several other of their pizzas, including the Hawaiian and Regrumbah and have yet to be disappointed. Salads, sandwiches and desserts round out the menu. For those who prefer, there are lots of vegetarian and even vegan pizza and entrée options as well. They have lots of beer options($ 3PBR, anyone?), as well as cocktails and a few wine and cider choices. Street parking is free and there is a paid lot behind the building. The Fair Park DART stop is across the street, so not only does that provide you with an extra transportation option, but it also provides ample people watching opportunities if you sit at a patio or window seat.

Surprisingly, for a pizza place, I was very disappointed in their pizza and the speed of preparing it. I went on a Friday afternoon at 4 and it wasn’t very busy yet it took at least 30 minutes for 3 pre-made pepperoni slices to come out. Not only that, but they were all cooked at various degrees of «completion.» As thin crust pizzas, they should not have been soft and chewy, bordering on raw. Only one piece had a few blackened parts on the bottom of the crust. I asked if they were supposed to be really soft and our server seemed to make up something on the fly that it must’ve been fresh and it just goes out. She offered to get it cooked better for a couple minutes and it definitely was a bit crunchier. Aside from the crust failure, the pizza itself was huge for 1 slice and was decent tasting. The pepperoni slices were odd in that they curved upward like little saucers.
