I love the retro feel of this place. The ambience is unique and very eccentric in classical sense. I’m very impressed with 45s spinning to an actual record on a turntable. 4000 records in-store with a bar serving premium liquors. Great lighting and acoustics. Location is amazing yet strategic as it’s nestled between the Pizza Lounge And Sandaga813 on Exposition. Looking for a great place to relax and listen to musical mastery of days gone by??? This is the place.

Kool bar to chill and listen to some classic music. Decent beer selection but the atmosphere is relaxing.

Great beer selection for a new place. Great potential. Cool selection of records for purchase. Very open to making drinks that cater to you. I came in with a VERY wide variety crowd and they catered to every craving, no problem. Glad they’re not crazy busy yet.

This place has potential! Good selection of alcohols. Prices were decent. The vinyl collection was huge and the bartender let us select what we wanted to listen to. Granted, we were there on a Thursday around 4:30pm and had the place to ourselves. He was friendly and interesting to talk to. I hope they offer some basic food options soon as it would be nice to have a little something to go with the drinks and conversation.

The Record Lounge has a lot of potential, though I’m not completely sold yet. I’ve been twice so far and am definitely planning on going back. My friend likes the place a lot more than I do, so maybe that has something to do with it. Probably mostly has to do with the fact that there are only about 5 places to drink in this area and I’ll give anywhere within walking distance a fair chance. The décor is true to the name. There are fairly comfy booths lining the walls for you to lounge(*badumpcha*), and plenty of seating at the bar, too. There’s some open space near the DJ booth for… dancing? But I haven’t been here late enough, I guess(aka when people are drunk enough to dance?) to know if it’s actually for dancing, or just an awkward space near the door. The walls are decorated with some pretty obscure records. It makes for an interesting aesthetic. The music is pretty top notch as far as I’m concerned. The last time I was here, on a Friday night, they were playing 90s hip hop. Vinyl only! Which means they have a great collection. Will go on a not-Friday soon and report back what’s playing. I’m sure it’ll be awesome. The drinks are cheap. One weekend night they have $ 3 you-call-its, but I can’t remember if it’s Friday or Saturday and I know what’s super unhelpful and I am sorry /runonsentence. Just go and try it out. Nothing is super expensive even when it’s not on special. I /think/the bartenders are friendly. Okay, I honestly don’t really remember the bartenders. Not because I was drunk, but because they were nondescript. I guess I didn’t have a bad experience with one, so nondescript is better than that. Highlights: cheap drinks, good music, interesting stuff to look at. Try it out! Fair Park needs some love.

I love this place! They have great drink specials and the bartender serves up a mean specialty cocktail, Riot Punch! It’s a must for first timers! The music played comes from the bars collection of vinyl! I’ve never been to a bar that played vinyl exclusively every day! It’s cool when they slap on an album and play it completely through, you get a chance to listen to songs you might’ve never heard before.

Pretty sweet little dive bar in the former Fallout Lounge. With a focus on vinyl records, and cheapish drinks, i’ll be going back.
