Solid restaurant for Mexican food. Had a large part of 8 for dinner. Service was a slow and wait staff was not very attentive. Had various dishes from Enrique tilapia(very good) to shrimp tacos(fairly spicy). Airlines steak salad was good. Guacamole salad was a bit bland — definitely needed more salt. Overall solid — nothing over the top but for a large group this restaurant works.

This place was nice. The minute u walked in, your greeted by the host. Got sat down fairly quickly. Our server Jeno was amazing. Super friendly and patient. I ordered the Tommys bowl and my husband ordered the trio fajitas. Both were amazing! Full of flavor! Would definitely recommend this place.

Came in to meet some people. There ended up being 8 of us. Only 3 people ate dinner because we had eaten earlier. We were seated upstairs, not a pleasant room. Service was slow and then when our server split up out tabs she added 18 or 20% to all tickets. This was a rip off. Hell, we would Have sat at different tables if we knew we were getting bent over. Will not be returning or recommending.

Service was really good and the brisket tacos were excellent… Margaritas were just ok. Way too much sweet and sour mix. Had to order extra shots if tequila to get them right.

Roach crawling on the wall and eventually down the booth where we were sitting and had to jump up so it didn’t crawl on us. We asked for a manager and got the«fill in» who was extremely rude. He came and asked us «what’s up» and was making fun of the fact, and told us it’s common. Basically, get over it. We were not looking for a free meal but at least an apology, but didn’t even get that. We left very frustrated and feeling a little sick to our stomachs.

We got in there not knowing what to expect, since it was our first time in the city, and we got out of there happy and with full tummy. The waiter Jessie was very helpful and answer all our questions about the menu. We ordered the brisket tacos that are absolutely delicious, and the ribs, for dessert we had a tres leches with coffee, which was perfect for that rainy day. Price is right, flavor and portions are excellent as well as the service.

Excellent food. Group of 7 and were taken care of although our waiter may have been somewhat new. Manager stepped up and helped. Even went out to get a specific wine for one of us. Brisket tacos, steak fajitas and more were enjoyed by all. Very fresh and tasty. Portion size was perfect!

Great service! Great atmosphere !! Mediocre food. I would usually give a lower rating because of the food but the Drinks were good and our waitress was very nice.

Walked in without reservations and we were seated right away. They say is, served us water and individual salsa bowls!!! Great environment. More down to earth. Just my style

This was the only place that I was able to eat in Dallas since I was there for only 6 hours. This place was really good, the people were really frendly with me, the salsa and margaritas were good! The girls at the door were friendly and they were always checking to made sure everything was okay, the area is also really nice, perfect to just seat and enjoy the day.

My favorite place in Dallas, I am hooked on the brisket tacos. I had them last night so Mike at the bar recommended the shrimp tacos… OMG, my new favorite. Great staff, just ask anyone what they recommend. Love it!

Ok — our waiter was crazy good(his name was Jack) — he was high energy and fun I’ll have to say the breakfast surprised me — and the pancake was probably the best I’ve had in Dallas —– funny to find the best pancake in Dallas at a Mexican food place

Our group dinner did not pan out at Chop House Burger, so we walked down the block. Even with only 3 servers, our group of 55 were greeted warmly, and served delicious food in a timely manner. We were VERY pleased!

Disappointed! Ordered the Big Kahuna which I have had a couple times before. The chicken was wayyy over cooked and the shrimp was tough. The entire plate looked like a mess. Our waitress was nice enough. Not sure if I can ever give it a try again.

Had the brisket tacos. Very good. Tender brisket with nice smokey flavor. They give you four small tacos but I could easily eat six. Atmosphere is fun too. I probably will be back on my next visit.

After walking around downtown for a quite a while trying to find some place to have brunch my friend and I stumbled upon this place. We just wanted some place with mimosas and a bite to eat so it seemed promising. Service was slooooooowwwwwwwwww. we both ordered breakfast tacos… how long does it take to make a breakfast taco? The salsa tasted like it came from a jar the tacos tasted like something I would make at home… but I can make better. On the bright side the mimosas were great! When we went to pay I was told that they didn’t have change for the $ 100 bill I was trying to pay with… really? You are a restaurant in the middle of a down town area and you can’t make change for $ 100.

This place feels more of a bar than a restaurant to me. Started off with chips and salsa which is decent. We ordered their Beef Fajitas and El Jefe Burrito with beef. The fajitas came out not sizzling at all and my burrito could not pass for a BEEF burrito, it’s more like bean burrito. Service is good and nothing to complain about. I don’t now if it’s just me or what but I think the establishment need to do a deep cleaning. The table/side light are dusty and just dirty. I might come back for drinks but not for food.

Margaritas were perfection and even though the weather was cold*(read: 40F), the bar outside was still covered and pretty toasty. The empanadas looked great but I didn’t indulge. The guy bartending was kind but I wish he would have been a bit more attentive! I had to ask a couple times for a drink. He was good enough to bring his place up to 4 Stars for me. Seriously, those margaritas though… On point.

It’s a «Texas Blizzard» and we ended up here by accident. What a great accident! Love te music, love the food. The fusion of Tex-Mex with an Island vibe. Happy Hr is nice, the waiter, Carson is a cutie & very nice. We ended up inviting our friends to join us. Good place!

I was visiting in Texas for a conference and was craving some Mexican food. This place was right in the heart of downtown and seemed like a great authentic Mexican restaurant. There were mixed reviews on Unilocal,so i decided to try it out for myself. I wish i hadn’t. My friend and i were seated at the bar with two fans blowing gale force winds in our face. We were served chips and salsa, which were just okay. After perusing their menu, I decided to order the Carne Asada Burrito– a pretty standard Mexican dish. When it came out, the burrito was covered in a sauce that was basically nacho cheese. I really did not like the taste of it. Not to mention it was congealing on the burrito which made it even more unappetizing. I decided to forgo the congealed cheese covered tortilla and just eat the ingredients inside. When i broken up the burrito, I was left with a mess of dry, bland rice with overcooked carne asada. I felt like i was chewing each piece of meat for 5 minutes. I ate about 3 bites and deciding I could go no further. Highly disappointing. I left hangry and unsatisfied.
