I’ve been staying here for some time and I’ve liked everything. The parking is somewhat limited besides the people who have a reserved spot. The pool is good for families and it’s somewhat fancy. It’s also conveniently located next to the weight room, so you can get a good run in and then go cool down by the pool. The only issue I had was a domestic issues with some of the neighbors when a brand new Mercedes and an Avenger were set on fire and vandalized all within a day apart from each other. The cars were close to the other cars and could have gotten ugly. The complex didn’t have cameras and it bothers me for safety reasons, but the living spaces are nice and well kept up. Their trash pick up service is also extrmely good and efficient.

Ten years ago(about the same time this apartment complex was built) when Greenville was the shit, St. Andrew’s was probably the nicest apartment complex in North Dallas. It’s a few minutes’ drive away from lower Greenville’s bar scene and accessible to 2 major highways – 75 and 635. I moved here in the beginning of 2010 because of its location. I had two workplaces, and St. Andrew’s is conveniently located right in between. The amenities are all right(3 pools, 2 gyms) and maintenance is probably just enough to meet city standards. I had very minimal issues with pests, so I had only the occasional spider. No issues with the kitchen, bath and washroom appliances. I paid all my bills early and usually $ 20 over, so whenever I visited the leasing office they were nice to me. I borrowed a couple of DVDs and returned them a few days late without paying a fee. Getting maintenance is not usually a headache, though they were a week late in getting my washer/dryer installed! Now, the most important thing to finding the perfect place to settle is location. A few years go, this probably would be an ideal location. Unfortunately, the socioeconomic status of the average renter is on the lower side of middle-class. I do believe my neighbors across the hall were selling illegal substances, though they were really nice and always signed for any packages that came my way. The cops were a frequent visitor to the neighborhood, which probably comforts me more than alerts me. Would I rent here again? Only if I got a significant pay cut. and couldn’t afford a better place.
