My friend and I decided to go here for dinner. The atmosphere is great if you like a casual, laid-back pub feel. The food was good. We got the irish soda bread, which was okay, I honestly prefer mine with raisins and it was a little tough. For dinner she had the bangers and mashed, which was good. I had the shepherds pie, which was great. I’d totally get it again. I was happy to have green beans come with it because I’m a veggie lover, but they were extremely salty. Overall, I’d definitely go again. Good food, good beer selection and great atmosphere.

This is a great bar right by my house! Their kitchen is open late even on weekdays and they have GREAT food. TJ, the bartender, is a really good guy. I find myself stopping in here for an ice cold Carlsberg on draft quite frequently.

Great, friendly service and good food. I enjoy having access to the jukebox and the enclosed smoking area is a nice convenience.

One of the many Monday night bars I go to. I personally like that there isn’t too big of a crowd. I also like that they have an open patio for smokers. The drinks are reasonably priced. The service leans more on the poor side. Try the nachos with your drink!

I’ve been wanting to come here for a long time, and I’m glad I finally got the chance. I’ve been craving a good shepherd’s pie, so I ordered before I even got a menu – still took quite a while for my food to come out. The pie itself was pretty good, although I felt it needed salt and pepper. They DID have enough cheese on it for my tastes, which was a plus. The waitress was polite and attentive, although she asked me if I wanted a second beer at least three times. I’m sure most of the patrons who come there drink more than I do, but I wanted to be able to drive home! I got the snake bite because I’ve also been wanting a good alcoholic cider, and it was good. I’d order it again. The only real downside was the bathrooms. They’re alright, but they smell like mold or mildew has been allowed to grow fairly freely. I also think that maybe the person who cleans the toilets should be told to get the front inside rim? That looked kinda gross. If I hadn’t had to go so bad I wouldn’t have used it at all. I’d definitely go back. Just avoid using the restrooms.

We wanted a late, casual dinner and Staggering Irishman caught our eye. Our server made some recommendations since it was our first visit to the pub. I ordered the Palmer’s Bangers & Mash. It comes with 2 Pork Bangers, you can add another, I did. It’s served with mashed potatoes covered by grilled onions and gravy. I was kinda disappointed by the lack of flavor with the sausage. I put salt on the mashed potatoes to bring out the flavor. My boyfriend had the Corned Beef & Cabbage and he really liked the cabbage. I tasted the cabbage and it was the best item on our plates. They have a super cool chocolate peanut butter beer. I had never heard of such a thing. It’s really good. We ordered dessert to go. We ordered the Blarney Brownie and the Bread Pudding. The pudding is yummy! I am already planning to go back. I want to try the Slainte Nachos and the Gaelic Cheese Puffs from the appetizers portion of the menu.

Stopped in on a Saturday at noon, maybe 8 other people, all young 20’s sitting and eating at the bar: I feel weird offsetting the age curve by 15 years, but I was craving pub food so I sucked it up. The beer list isn’t updated enough, the first thing I ordered was out. I ordered a local beer I hadn’t heard of and the fish and chips. Portion size was good. Fish was ok, but dry, the batter was good. The chips(fries) may have been the best I’ve ever had. I don’t know what seasons they use but they were addictive my goodness! Would definitely come back and try other meals.

I love this place. The food is great, and the staff is even better. Ask for Cassia, Jessica, TJ, or Alex and you won’t be disappointed.

Great place to eat as well as drink. When does that happen in a bar? Alex, bartender/server/chef, was fantastic. He steered us toward the pasta special and, although busy, was attentive, friendly, funny, and engaging. Great service. There was a soccer game on, so the crowd grew and became rowdier as the evening wore on. Not a problem, just something good to know going in. Thanks for a great experience and meal! Recommend: Leprechaun Legs with the Diablo Sauce. MUCH better than I expected. I’ve had the beef stew in the past and found it lacking savory flavor, salt? Maybe it’s the difference between Irish stew and my mom’s beef stew.

We came here after sporks. Sporks had a bartender that was in a horrible mood. He was so rude and inconsiderate of us. When we got here to Staggering Irish men they had amazing customer service from the start. We were playing darts and bounced back and forth from the bar and table. Not once did they make us feel uncomfortable. They were very attentive. We ordered their nachos. And when it came out we were on the way to smoke outside. When we came back 10 minutes later it was still crunchy and fresh. They told us they made the potato chips homemade in the back. They also made sure our table was still in tact(just in case of creepers). I give this place 5 stars. Great food and great customer service. From bartender and waitress they work together. That means they want to please their customers. Must try! Btw. Restroom was well kept. Looks like mama’s and papa’s bar inside. Smoking area was seperate outside. So no reason to feel dirty from smoky bar.

My husband and I went here a week or so ago. When we walked up the patio was full of smokers. You had to walk through the smoke to get into the building. The interior is smoke free and quite nice. Pool tables, darts and plenty of TV’s to view games. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. She was informative on the different beers. She was quick to ensure we were taken care of. The food menu is limited. We decided to order just an appetizer. We ordered the pretzels. It took 20 mins for our food to come out. The pretzel was soft in some area and rock hard in other areas. The mustard was extremely spicy and wasn’t very good. The cheese sauce was decent. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting but not a place I would eat dinner. It’s a great place for drinks or watching a game.

Love the Irishman. Food is really good, Alex is always experimenting and coming up with top notch stuff. Some of the best bar food I’ve ever had. Drink specials are great and beer/liquor selection is nice. One of the few places left where even on non happy hour the drinks arent $ 10+ each. It’s my neighborhood go to when I want a drink/watch a game. So glad it’s within walking distance of my house.

Have LOVED this place since it opened, absolutely the go-to place for soccer games. TJ is a saint opening the bar at 8am on Saturdays for Premier League games. And lets not even get into USA games, some of the wildest sports experiences of my life. Really good craft beer selection, great whiskey list, and good food, especially if corned beef is involved. Look up the FC Dallas schedule and go during a game, you’ll fall in love.

I’ll give this place a 3 because of the atmosphere and staff. They’re all wonderful. My food however wasn’t all that great. Upon recommendation of the bartender I ordered the corned beef tacos. Thinly sliced corned beef was really overcooked, almost like jerky, and barely there and the mashed potatoes seemed like more of a filler than a compliment to the rest of the meal. I know it was late but I expected greatness because of the photos on Unilocal.I’ll continue to visit and try different things but I’d recommend staying away from the tacos.

My boyfriend and I come here about once a month to catch MLS games. The staff is really nice and always accommodate us when we ask to put our game on the big screen. O The selection of beer and cider is extensive but don’t be surprised if they’re out of what you want. It’s happened a few times. Their food is pretty decent! The Reuben, fish & chips, big pretzels, and fries are really good. The Gaelic cheese puffs not so great. The only thing I don’t personally like to there are always a lot of kids here and the service can be slow. Definitely worth trying especially if you’re looking for a family friendly soccer bar.

I’ve found my brothers and sisters of Ireland! Very authentic Irish pub. Most are dingy and dark places with the smell of beer and bread. That being said I LOVE the beer selection! Happy hour specials are great too! I have yet to try the food but it looks amazing. I will definitely be back as I work right around the corner. Great place to hang with friends for a beer and a few laughs!
