Starbucks

Getting in and out at this location can be tricky but the drinks are always quick and right on the money.
I got a birthday freebie drink here once and the barista tried to convince me to get something more expensive. He was really looking our for my freebie! For the record, blonde roast with vanilla syrup is pretty great as it is.

Very fast! Ordered from phone… This morning and Very good job! Jolly good! Got my order really quick when i arrived! Ordered for lunch ran out of the sandwich and offered me a different sandwich (More $) for free. Very thankful! Good cookie, good sandwich! Busy and clean area! Must go!

Please check your food before eating. I ate a moldy multigrain bagel and looked at it only half way thru eating. Contacted Starbucks and they refunded my dollar and that was it. Sorry was all I got.

The absolute worst parking and drive thru ever. Cars are in line all the way into the street and back into a busy intersection. avoid at all costs unless you are walking here.

A lifesaver if u work on that side of downtown! Of course it’s busy from 7−8am with the whole world coming into work on that side of town but with the drive thru makes things a lot easier. I come here daily & know the staff on a first name basis. Great down to earth people. They go thru a lot handling the hustle and bustle of the busy downtown business and somehow manage to keep a smile on their face. Very proud of this staff. I wouldn’t worry too much about the country bumpkins who say the place is too busy. They jus don’t understand the busy city life. U try to keep the whole world happy running a Starbucks in downtown and you’ll really appreciate this location!

Picture me, thirsty and in a hurry, leaving the office mid-​day and on my way to day two of a conference in Grapevine. I need a grande iced Americano for the road, and I need it fast. I roll up to this Starbucks and I’m thrilled to see that it has a drive-​thru. I’m less thrilled to see that there’s a line about 6 cars deep, but the caffeine craving is real, so I queue up. To my delight, the line rolls right along at an impressive clip (and I know how hard it is to keep a drive-​thru line moving, I worked one in high school). My order is taken and in my hands in under a minute. The barista that helped me was all smiles, and my iced Americano was rich, smooth and strong. I’ve never seen the inside, but this location gets high marks from me for both service and drink quality.

I come here a lot on Sunday’s after church and the staff here are awesome! Love their spunk! I especially miss Josh! He was hilarious and was the best! Made all my drinks right (which is hard to do when a family of 8 come in with all custom orders… SORRY JOSH!) but also Kristin is a great barista although she doesn’t work as often as she used to! I’ll always return here as long as they keep this up! (Although now that Josh is gone, the staff doesn’t seem to have much of a pep in their step)
But I will say the parking lot is horrifying if there’s a ton of people in the drive thru because it cuts off a large part of the lot.

The worst drive thru. I order a chai with whip cream they can never get it right they always end up putting foam on it! so last time I was there I told her take off the foam and put whip cream on… They make the entire drink over and waste the first one which was not necessary, that’s not what I asked for, I was very polite about it and then I get my second drink and it taste just like milk, there’s hardly any chia in it. ridiculous. So over Starbucks! Standards waY down!!!

First of all, yeah, what Natalie S. says. To get into and to conquer this location on a daily basis should earn me a gold star. Or free starbucks for life. Or som’n. *ahem*
This location is funny. Sometimes there are 48 people in line blocking 4 lanes of traffic and it takes 8 minutes to get through the drive thru *score*. Other times there are 3 lone souls waiting for coffee and it takes 20 minutes. It’s like the space/​time continuum gets confused and you go back in time the longer you wait. Or something.
The worker bees are 90% great. There are a few that I groan in my head when I see (lookin’ at you slow girls) but the dudes are all super cool. They are ON it.
Overall, my latte with two splendas is made perfectly daily. If you are drinking a drink you created in your own head and they keep getting it wrong because it’s not a usual fucking coffee drink, get over yourself and order a drip coffee for a month and re-​evaluate your priorities. Me, I like my foamy espresso sweet milky choice and gladly arm wrestle ¹⁄₃ of east Dallas traffic daily to get it.

I started going to this one a couple of weeks ago because it is actually closer to my house. But that stops today. They have yet to make a drink correctly. I even go in every time now and «supervise» them as they make the drinks. The baristas just don’t seem to care and lack the skills. I get a chai tea misto with tea bags. I called it a chai tea latte with tea bags but it is Starbucks that told me to call it a misto. Well this morning I did not taste my drink prior to leaving because it looked correct. But somewhere along the way they added coffee. Who adds coffee to a drink that has two tea bags??? I mean really. This has happened at least three times there even though I go in an tell them exactly ½ water ½ steamed milk. Done!

Had a woman sitting on the curb ask me for change after I gave my order in the drive thru, that was awkward. Drive thru service was a little slow but what do you expect, coffees don’t just make themselves! We got in line before it wrapped around the whole shop.

I stopped here on Saturday for my espresso fix while studying with a friend. This location conveniently has a drive-​thru. I ordered the white mocha and it was delicious, as usual :)
My only complaint is how loud the baristas were. There was some kind of argument going on, which makes it a little uncomfortable for customers. Anyways, great coffee.

There are only good things to say about the quality of the coffees and foods, and the staff are friendly. This particular location, however, is almost always overcrowded-​both inside and in the drive through. Being on a busy corner with such a small lot, it’s common to be caught up in traffic jams at the entrance and exit. I’ve waited for 20 minutes in the drive through a couple times (once you’re in line, there’s no getting out once someone is behind you). Too much business can’t be bad for business, but I generally avoid this location due to it being too crowded.

GREAT example of bad customer experience. 3 employees stand and talk about their social life with each other while customers waited. Customers not talked to or greeted. The barista never greeted or spoke to anyone but her coworkers, while people crowded waiting for their drinks, however she was the only one making drinks while the drive thru station was idle. I went to the walk in because the drive thru wasn’t moving. Avoid at all costs unless no other option.

Perhaps the slowest Starbucks ever. Really makes me crazed. Bad parking, the place is dirty and the staff isn’t consistent. I believe this Starbucks doesn’t have a soul. Something is missing.
And watch where you park (if you can get parking) because you might be blocked by the drive through waiting line. Which can be long wait since this is the slowest Starbucks ever
It’s disappointing that Starbucks has not made an investment in a better suited location in the neighborhood that allows for safer ample parking and better enter/​exit.
The other thing that has been a let down is the food. The two times I have ordered breakfast items they have been frozen in the middle. Yeek!

I have been to tons of Starbucks all across the US and this ranks as one of the worst. The only reason I stop here is because of the drive-​through and it’s convenient. Half the time they don’t even have what I order. It’s the same people working every morning but somehow it seems very unorganized like it’s there first day on the job.

Worst worst worst worst worst worst Starbucks location of all time. I only go to this location during non-​peak hours when I am heading into Deep Ellum to go to the dog park. I live closer to the location on La Vista and would rather park my car and walk in (the horror!) than wait in my car for 15 minutes to go through a drive thru while people cut in line.
The two entrances (or is one an exit only?) are on perpendicular corners of a one way street (Haskell) and Gaston. If you enter from Haskell you are right next to the menu, whereas if you enter from Gaston you are entering the ‘back of the line’, so people that enter from Haskell basically pull in then cut in line. And if you don’t let them cut then traffic will start up back up on Haskell. The line then gets so long it tends to go into Gaston so then traffic is backing up on Gaston. But then we have someone from the other side of the street wanting to get in the line, so we now have traffic in both directions on Gaston and on Haskell.
While all of these people are in line backing up traffic, other people are trying to reverse out of their spots but can’t, as the line is right behind them. You can’t park anywhere that doesn’t have the drive thru line right behind you. Parking sometimes takes longer than the drive thru here.
As far as the staff and drinks, I can’t complain. They are always very nice when I do go and always tell my dog how cute and perfect she is (because she is), though one time they asked if I wanted a cup of whipped cream for her, which I found odd. Do people actually let their dogs eat whipped cream? Like I said, if it is 2pm on a Tuesday and I am driving by, I may go here, otherwise I avoid this place.

What can you really say about Starbucks, they are pretty much the same everywhere… This is a smaller store, with only about nine tables, but the staff is really friendly and chatty when they aren’t too busy. When they are busy, they’re just friendly; no time to be chatty, which is fine!
There is off-​street parking, which is convenient, and it’s between Greenville and downtown, so if you needed to pick up your morning java on your way to your downtown office, this is probably a pretty good place to do that.

I’m not a big fan of Starbucks in general, but I do love their Tazo Chai Lattes and will stop by every once in awhile on my way into work.
This is by FAR the worst Starbucks location I’ve ever seen. It’s incredibly poorly planned and is next to a major hospital and downtown Dallas, which leads to it being extremely busy between 6:30−9am. That’s fine and understandable, but the parking lot is tiny. The entrance is actually off Gaston, but people will come in the exit that’s off Haskell and force their way into the line, cutting in front of everyone else who has been waiting for 15+ minutes in a line going down the street. If you park your car in the parking lot, be prepared for it to be nearly impossible for you to get out.

This has become my weekend location for Starbucks as it is located fairly close to home. The primary reason for my 3 star rating is the parking lot (if it can be called that). The ‘parking lot’ is very, very small (~12 spaces). If there is a line for drive through parking is nearly impossible. I cannot imagine visiting this location during the morning rush because of the parking situation.
Once inside the service is always friendly and prompt. I’ve never had to wait too long for my drink. Occasionally they are out of a blend of coffee I want. When this happens they ‘comp’ my substitute drink which I find to be a very nice touch.
