Taco Cabana

Grossest crap I’ve ever put in my mouth. No seriously… I’d rather eat crap. What a waste of money and time. Threw it out and made a delicious turkey sandwich.

Ive never cared for TC, but I was craving fajitas and thought this would be a great place to get some fast. That was a huge mistake. The chicken was good, that was about it. The green peppers were cold and weren’t sizzling like they are should. The sides didn’t taste fresh. For $ 4 more I could of gone to a real Mexican restaurant such as Gloria’s or Mi Cocina. I wish this chain would get it together.

For breakfast you can’t beat Eggs Mexicana. Huge portions. The place is clean and friendly. The manager lowered the music at my request in order to read the paper. The salsa bar is awesome. Great place for a quick breakfast

I am very upset. I have tried calling this location for an hour the phone goes into s recording asking for access code. I live 5 miles from this location so it’s convenient for me to pick up after work and eat at home. My order was wrong. I asked for a beef crispy taco combo with chips and queso and an extra taco. Bill came out to 8:01. I get home and NO chips and queso. It’s bad enough that I had to repeat my order 3x to the person who didn’t understand me but now I’m home in pajamas with an incomplete meal. I hope a manager contacts me because I am upset!!!

2:15 PM Sunday March 20. Came into a dirty dining room. I ordered a street taco plate and a 3 pack of street tacos with two drinks. Found a seat in a moderately crowded dining room. There was spilled drink on floor and wet warning signs in place. They were there the entire time we waited. I counted 13 occupied tables and only one of those had their food. After about 25 minute wait, I went to the front and asked for my money back. In broken english, the person behind the counter said «just minute» He wandered around for a couple of seconds, spoke with some of the staff in the open kitchen and told me he’d have my order out in a couple of seconds. After another 5 minute wait, I returned. He saw me, went into the kitchen, spooned up some rice and beans onto a plate, picked up some pre wrapped street tacos and gave them to me, sans apology. Why couldn’t that have been done during the previous 25 minute wait? Meanwhile, the drive thru was moving. Others in the dining had been there longer than us and had still not been served. Men’s restroom was dirty. It’s a wonder they have any business at all. Side Note: A partially obscured health department report was posted on the bulletin board. Best I could tell, they have unsanitary practices there. I couldn’t see it all. Perhaps obscured on purpose? I Shall not return.

I had placed an order online 2 days before the day I went to pick it up. I even called the day before to verify that the order will be ready on time since it was for a work luncheon.
I got there at 10:30am to pick my 10:30am order and they started working on the order once I asked for it.
Obviously I stood there for next 20 – 25 minutes while they «leisurely» put my order together, without any signs of apologizing. (I see how much importance they put on their customer service). All the manager said when handing me food was «Sorry for the wait».
My manager was wondering what happened since the luncheon was suppose to start at 11am. I felt so embarrassed since getting Taco Cabana for the luncheon was my idea.
Never again will I ever give this restaurant any business.
It’s not just the employees that provide poor customer service, it comes from the top down — managers too. It pathetic!!!

Everything about this location sucks other than the maybe spoonful of protein you order with your tacos.
Open up your tacos and you’ll find barely a spoonful of protein inside that you probably have about 99% tortilla.
If you go to the drive-​through don’t expect the cashier to greet you or to even open half the window to complete your transaction but do you expect to have you change thrown at you.
Service here absolutely sucks!

The other day, I think it was the 11^th of Dec, 15; I decided to try this food out again because I go through a pattern of hate and then crave it, detest the «runs» factory that it is, and then crave it again. I craved it and once again it brought me back to loath it because the employees act like buffoons on crack. The pictures of their food won’t resemble anything you get «en vivo.» Why, why, why do I do this with this fast food chain? Unfortunately, the final problem came about 12 hours later in the form of, shall we say liquidly kind of visitor? Horrible! Clean this place up of its issues or move it out and make room for something that actually provides a service.

I have patience for days, but when you put in an incorrect order and I correct you on what I really had ordered, you don’t try to accuse me that I ordered wrong. Then they have the nerve to give me attitude for having to correct their mistake. This TC needs a recourse on customer service

Breakfast tacos! Love them, can’t get enough of them. Order a dozen TC way or customize your own if you want more of the meat ones (bacon/​egg or chorizo/​egg.) They always have my order ready when I come to pick em up and they have great customer service. The restaurant is clean and spacious and the salsa bar is awesome!

Service is horrible orders are always messed up been there twice and both times it was hell the management is a joke barely speak any English contact corporate get no response thus location is the worst I’ve ever been too

Not even sure the 1 star is worth it… EVERY SINGLE TIME I go here the totally screw up my order. I’m allergic to dairy! AGAIN, I’m ALLERGIC to dairy!!! So having things like cheese and sour-​cream are out of the question. I tell them I’m every time that I’m ALLERGIC. Another words I can possibly go to the hospital over this! I repeat myself on this because they seem to not understand this. Because this is the 5^th time I’ve told them but cheese somehow is ALWAYS on my food! I mean how dumb do you have to be??? Over this place and I will never go back.

the breakfast tacos are really good and decently priced. i also like the steak quesadillas and they have a personal size or large size. they have some many mexican food options which is why i like this place.

For a quick bite, they are great! Do not expect top notch Mexican food but it is much better than Taco Bell. The place is very clean and they have great salsa bar. I love the crispy tacos and rice. Yummy!

5 steps higher than other fast food mexican joints regarding quality, flavor, and authenticity. 1 step lower than an authentic Mexican or even tex mex joint. Perfect for when you want something fast, tasty, and easy. Pretty affordable too! And GREAT happy hour. Margs are $ 3 and under, depending on size.

As a transplant that just moved to the area, I can say that TC is far better than any Mexican place in Minneapolis. That may not be saying a whole lot now that we’re living in the land of Tex-​Mex, but either way my wife and I were quite pleased with our first Taco Cabana experience.
The salsa bar is cool, the tortillas are fresh and the street tacos were excellent. Keep in mind that I am considering that this is a fast food joint with my praise. There are better tex-​mex/​mexican joints, probably better fast food taco joints, but this place was still pretty good!

Look, I’m not from here, I didn’t know.
They are open 24 hours, so they have my vote! Sometimes I am out late, or fly home late from a business trip, and I just can’t stand eating greasy burgers and fries. The chicken tacos and chicken fajita quesadilla provide an excellent easier-​on-​the-​stomach meal. I like the salsa, too.

Too be honest I had always kind of avoided this place. There’s no shortage of taco joints in Dallas and I usually prefer small shops to chains (That and I always get Copa Cabana stuck in my head when I think about it, which is unpleasant to say the least). On the other hand there is a shortage of places open at 2 AM. I wasn’t hugely impressed with the chicken tacos (my wife liked them a lot though) but the tortillas were really tasty… as were the quesadillas. Drive through was quick and efficient though what’s with the ridiculously large Styrofoam containers?

Well I went yesterday during happy hour and they overcharged me. This was after I stood at the register for 5 minutes without being greeted. They said they didn’t know how to do a refund. Their AC was broken and it was around 100 outside.
I actually felt bad for the employees. I was thinking that may be why they weren’t thinking straight.
