Today was my first time trying this pizza place and I will definitely come back for more. I tried the pepperoni with the sauce and it was amazing! They have many variety of pizzas and I am looking forward to try out different ones.

Good pizza, but extremely overpriced. A delivered three topping large pizza comes out to over $ 40. For one pizza with the $ 10 delivery charge(NOT including tip) throw in a 5 dollar tip and you have yourself the most expensive pizza in the state… maybe even the country

Excellent late night pizza! I might be able to eat an 18 inch pizza by myself. It’s that good!

We ordered a 14″ Hawaiian pizza at 5:30 p.m. on a Friday and it took around 1 ½ hours to receive our order. We are all about supporting local business, so we tried to shrug off the $ 24 charge for a small/medium pizza with five toppings. Nevertheless, the delivery person texted and said he was running late and our pizza was cold. I will say that management was quick to respond after we called, and texted that we’d be refunded(they told us the Über service would be quicker next time). All in all, I love the phở at the next door restaurant, but the pizza seems overpriced for the quality and delivery time. I’m a seasoned East Dallas resident, so I hope to see progress with ZaLat in the future!

Not the best Pizza but they were open late and ready to deliver. I ordered the grilled chicken pizza the crust was heated frozen crust. Same thing with the chicken. It was pizza and I was hungry so it served its purpose. Nothing to brag about.

Only place open and ready to deliver to my hotel after 10PM in DT Dallas … Had high hopes for this place cause I was STARVING. And also cause the receptionist at the hotel said it was real good stuff. Decided to go for«ELOTESPIZZA»: Corn, lemon pepper reduction, parm, cilantro garnish, valentina swirl. Siimply cause it said it tasted like the Mexican corn in the cup. Well, I must have been tired cause it was missing the mayo, the butter and the chili powder… And most of all, it was missing a decent flavor. What a terrible pizza and I waited over 1 hour for it. For a small I also dropped $ 30. BOOO.

Ordered from Zalat multiple times and while the order has always arrived late, it does arrive and the pizza is good. And we can contact them to determine the actual arrival time. Order on a Sunday eve, not a real busy time and states an hour wait… ok. We wait well, over an hour and when we try to reach the shop, they don’t answer and tell you to use app or text… and still no response. The worst in customer service! Never again.

We’ve ordered from here a couple of times now, and every time it is so good. The pizza dough and crust are thin, but not too thin. The fresh mozzarella is delicious, and the other ingredients always tastes fresh. Our favorites are the pepperoni and the margherita(add chicken!) — the fresh basil and balsamic glaze really make it perfect. You can text your order to them and they’re open pretty late! The pizza arrives still hot, and it reheats well for left overs! We have eaten pizzas from all over town and definitely love this place. Their other place, DaLat, isn’t so bad, either.

I’ve been hearing such great things about Zalat, so my expectations were pretty high. Granted, the pizza was delicious and definitely gets high praise, but the wait is more around 3 stars. The popularity of the place and the fact that it’s open forever justifies the wait time. We got cheesy bread, elotes pizza, and the simply basil. The basil one was the best! The use of beef pepperoni is great and the pepper and basil all come together to a peppery, fresh, deliciousness. The cheesy bread was surprisingly amazing. Elote pizza was an acquired taste. but not bad. They play great music(MJ, Madonna) and the arcade game is a great addition. I live outside their delivery area, but they have a couple tables out front to sit at. Prices are appropriate to the size of pizzas.

What does a ginger do on St Patrick’s day? ~short answer, get a Vietnamese take on a NY inspired Italian staple. Yep, roll that around in yer noggin a bit. The crave. The name is simple and ‘o so accurate. How does a pizza that appears so basic and flat appeal to all aspects of taste? Salt and fat from the meats; smooth, rich oils from the cheese; «red”(yes, a color) and freshness from the sauce; bite and crunch from the red onion; and a perfect mix of pull, doughy chew, and slightly brown crunch from the crust. But to top it off, simple black pepper. Oh that course ground, angry little dried bead. It changes everything. The fat and oil is cut with a spark of semi-spice that lingers just long enough to make you appreciate the oil follower from the cheese and salt of the cured meats. This pizza will open your eyes to how a simple control of ingredients will make a seemingly eclectic mixture of ingredients great. If you’re reading through this and you have no idea what I’m saying, try it. If you still don’t understand, keep trying it until you do. With the many different styles, interpretations, and modifications on traditional and non-traditional(that elotes though) pizzas, I’m sure zalat can ruin chain pizza for you as it has for many others. Oh, and that crust! I will go out on a limb and say I am well practiced in the art if pizza folding. Very well practiced. The word master has been uttered. Ok, I uttered it, but still, this is the art of the perfect folder. I wish I had taken a picture. I’m told even amateurs can manage the perfect fold with Zalat’s pizza! «What is this perfect fold» you ask? Well, squire, the Perfect Fold is when you evenly fold at the crust, all but the last 1 – 2 inches of the pizza makes a U, so end up with a reverse of curvature at the end, producing a perfect dipping sample of your slice. Go ahead and try that with your Pizza Johns. If you don’t how«pull» relates to pizza crust, please run, don’t walk, to one of the the Zalat’s for a hands on education. On a side note, the holiday specific intake of green food coloring is idiotic at best, and D’ Boy us not a celebration song. Good day. I said good day!

I found out about this pizza place through a Facebook event. $ 314″ pickup special. I didn’t think it was going to be that busy… BUT. I had to wait 3+ hours for a pizza. It started off with just 1 hour. then it was another hour. then it was 45 mins… then it was 15 more minutes. This pizza is definitely not worth the hype and not worth the 3 hour wait. The crust didn’t taste that good and the sauce tasted like it was from a can. The cook on my pizza was good but the other pizza we ordered looked like it was still raw. Yes, the crust is thin but it’s nothing like a good new york style thin crust pizza. The toppings were standard and within the 3 hour window I was waiting for my pizza I was disgusted by the lack of food safety/sanitation. If I was to compare this pizza to another I would say the quality and flavor equally matches totinos or store brand pizza.

ZaLat Pizza… its«über cool» style pizza with a unique twist. You will find traditional style pizza here… pepperoni, sausage, etc… but WHY go tradition?! Check out their incredible creations like the notato pizza, the sriracha style or the Zealot ultimate pizza! This place has been cool enough to provide food for one of my film shoots and clever enough to take advantage of its location in East Dallas, just off 75 and right next door to its sister restaurant, DaLat and next to other cool and tasty restaurants. Check out their iPhone app to place your order! You can’t go wrong here… and since its open until 4am, you won’t go to bed hungry! Enjoy!

I love pizza and have to have it in my life weekly. I was in the mood to try somewhere different, so I decided to order a pizza from ZaLat and picked it up instead of having it delivered. The large Pepperoni pizza I ordered was wonderful! At first, I wasn’t sure how I felt about the outer crust, but once I kept eating it, I realized how much I appreciated the crusty exterior. It didn’t have a lot of taste, so it made me focus on the crispy crust, which happened to be great. The pizza itself was so cheesy and peppery. The tomato sauce was really delicious and definitely had a bit of tang and spice. I also really liked how big their large pizza is, because some pizza restaurants charge a high amount for a small portion size of a «large» pizza, and the large here is justified for the price. I’m glad to know I’ve found another pizza place that I like. I’m really picky with my pizza, and ZaLat lived up to my standards. I hope their delivery is as good as the pizza. The next time I want a pizza from here, I’ll be ordering it in the comfort of my own home to be delivered to my door and I hope it’ll come to me hot and delish! I recommend ZaLat!

Snapshot: Pizza Quality 3.6÷5, Price 3.7÷5 Hours Open 5⁄5. If you enjoy NY Style pizza, then visit. Located in East Dallas and the same owner as Da Lat(which is next door) they are open till 4a on the weekends. The margarita pizza is excellent and the offer some unique speciality pies. If your a fan of frozen candy bars, grab a few from the fridge. The price point isn’t bad for a 14″ or 18″ pie. They do offer slices but as it gets later into the night, there’s not as many choices.

Like many other reviewers, I was a little skeptical of letting my hopes get too high on my first order. I moved really close to Zalat recently so I was really hoping that I’d like it. After trying the Simple Basil(plus mushrooms) I can safely say I’m happy to add them to my contact list(so I can text them to make me pizza, a nice touch). There are a few minor things that keep me from giving 5 stars: 1) wish there was a 16″ option, 2) a little too much crust around the ends for my taste, 3) creating your own pizza is pretty expensive because they charge 2 – 3 bucks per topping(depending on what size pizza you order) 4) $ 3 of mushrooms added to my pizza was only like 1 – 2 tiny pieces per slice, i thought they were pretty stingy with it But overall the pizza was really great and i can’t wait to eat it again and for a night of late night munchies(darn you buzzbrews and your hour waits!)

YUM! This was some truly awesome pizza. I’d been wanting to try this place for a while, and when my boyfriend suggested we have a quiet Saturday night in, maybe watch a Netflix movie and order a pizza, I knew exactly who I wanted to order that pizza from. But after reading all the mixed delivery reviews on here, I wasn’t too sure I wanted to text them my order. So instead we used Postmates, who got the pizza to us – from order to delivery – in under 40 minutes(this is not an ad for Postmates, I don’t work for them or anything, I was just happy to get my pizza so soon, and piping hot when it arrived!) Now, to the pizza: amazing. Exactly what I want in a pizza. Thin(but not too thin!) wonderfully chewy crust, cheese that stretches when you take a bite, spicy sauce that perfectly ties the whole pie together… I’m salivating just reliving this. We ordered an 18-inch«make your own pizza» and got half plain cheese and half mushrooms and fresh basil, and both sides were a cheesy, flavorful delight. It came with a cup of this interesting zesty ranch-like dipping sauce that we gobbled right up. In the 18 inch we got 8 huge slices, and I’m ashamed(and a little proud) to say that we ate the whole darn thing. Oh yes, we can be pigs when we want to. Zalat was everything I had hoped it would be, and more. We don’t order pizza too often, but they are definitely at the top of my list.

I had low expectations of Zalat, a pizza chain outpost of next door Dalat, the late night overrated Viet-American diner serving B-team meals in a flashy kitsch bar setting for alcohol drenched stomachs craving sustenance. The theme of standard fare for mind wandering stoners like Dalat, is recapitulated at Zalat, in the form of pizza, is perhaps better fitted for its purposes. When my friend offered to bring over a Zalat pizza late night, I cheered. The additional gift of a cricket taco and a pork quesadilla from El Come elevated the gastronomical offering. Zalat’s pizza box with its typewriter font logo was cute marketing, alluding to Ginsbergian failed prose sophomoric college project study feasts. The product too shimmered in glowing siren song fats — sausage and thick just enough greasy cheese atop a non offensive crust ala Dominoes. We ate a few slices poolside, satisfied by non offense, perhaps not nutritionally Gold, the gimmick sufficed. Zeport card Package and advertising: A– Taste: B– Overall Pizza rating: C Value: C If you want to have a slice of mid grade American style pizza without much culinary thought — you’ve come to the right place. Think gourmet Ci Ci’s. «You can’t sit inside at Zalat?» I asked my friend. «No but you can bring it over to Dalat.» He explained. ” … and there are benches outside.”

I’m a fan of this damn near all night, late night pizza spot. So let me just say upfront that if you’re expecting authentic Chicago or NY style pies, then you should just keep moving to the left. But this isn’t Chicago or NYC, so hang on to your bootstraps. Between 4pm &4am, Zalat is forcing you late night foodies to open up your taste buds to some east Dallas munchies. Imagine a Saturday night and it’s after midnight. You have spend the day at wedding and reception. And you’re just trying to get some tasty pizza to help you recover from the festivities. Who do you call? Well you don’t. you TEXTZALAT! Within minutes you have a order confirmation text. A few minutes later you find yourself at the Zalat counter picking up your freshly made pizza(You can opt to have delivery). And I promise, there are very few things better than a slice of pizza in your mouth, while you’re zoning out on the sofa. If you’re up for something different, try the Rueben pizza. You can thank me later.

My sisters had the 3am munchies and we were in no position to drive at all, but ZaLat is open until 4am every day. Yes, every day!(Last order at 3:30am) More crazy things about Zalat: you text to place an order for some pizza. Great for antisocial people like me, but difficult to resist the urge to flirt text, «Hey…I would like some of your pizza, Hawaiian please :)» «Size?» “14 inches ;)“ Plus it’s late and you’re probably not in the right mindset to text anyone at 3 in the morning. After 1am they only accept credit card payments because twats like me end up passing out by the time their delicious pizza reaches you. I was actually surprised how quick the delivery was though. Then again, it was nearing 4am. Their pizza is really not like any other delivery franchises. I opened up the box to reveal a flat pizza, similar to Neapolitan pizza, and some ranch dressing. Uh… much yes for the ranch dressing! We were skeptical about the pizza though. There weren’t a lot of toppings, but I noticed the pineapples were charred a bit. I took it as a good sign since they were actually cooked and not just sprinkled on top from a can. The pizza was incredibly fresh though, like a slice would flop in my hand and the cheese would slowly start to fall. You had to be gentle with it because the crust is the only thing that’s really sturdy, but it’s totally fold-able. The rest of it is soft and delicious, nothing like the cardboard messes from other chains, and incredibly delicate but with strong tangy and sweet flavors. Do yourself a favor and stop ordering delivery from Papa the Hut. This is a new style of pizza that burns every other one in the conveyor belt that they came from.
