AT&T

We received very prompt attention as soon as we entered the store. Alberto J. helped us out — he was very pleasant and friendly. I had originally purchased a flip phone for my mother from a AT&T kiosk, but this other location did not have the facilities to transfer the phone numbers from her old phone. There were some issues getting the protective cover off of the phone, but he did come by occasionally to let us know how the process was going. The facility itself was large and had a generous amount of seating for you to sit in while getting your account taken care of.

Well when you get there they are so nice!!! But when you realize that you have no cell towers where you live in Pacifica they don’t care! We had to have a WAR to have them let us out and go back to Verizon. A very exhausting WAR… now because AT&T Internet also dose not work here either we no longer want direct TV because we can no longer be part of a «bundle» and it sucked too they want to charge us $ 420 to get out even though we cancelled before the 30 day trial I was told of over the phone and after cancellation we are now told you have 24 hours to make that decision???
Please, if you are still reading this STICK WITH COMCAST AND VERIZON!!!

I went here on Friday around 6:20 pm. I was helped by Aundria, I’m very impressed with her Knowledge, customer service, and willing to help me find a great deal and save money. She saved me money by letting me know that AT&T gives discount for the company I work for. I’m impressed by Aundria’s customer service, how fast she gets things done, very thorough, customer service oriented, and her knowledge.
This is my second time in this store. The first time it was a so-​so experience, nothing to write about. But this time, I was very impressed about Aundria’s customer service and willing to help me save money that I will be coming to this place again and would recommend this store to families and friends. The only reason I’m coming back here next time is because of her. Thanks! Aundria for saving me money and making the transaction fast and simple. And your willing to help me as a customer to get a good deal. Your the BEST!

GEMMA SHOULD BE FIRED FOR POOR MANAGEMENT, LACK OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNPROFESSIONALISM! She was extremely rude and made ignorant comments. She had a «I’m the boss and you can’t say sh*t to me kind of attitude».
I ordered a phone online to be given as a gift for Mother’s Day. Which I have done before. (I used my upgrade) unaware that the phone line tied to the upgrade would be activated without warning or notice, and the current phone would be disconnected. Nowhere on the confirmation did it state that when the order was placed. I had my brother pick up the phone and cs asked if he wanted to check if the phone worked. Naturally he said yes. It was then he realized the mistake that was made.
Of course we wanted a new phone, cause who wants to pay for a nearly thousand dollar phone in an already opened package with someone else’s info on the phone and gift it to someone else?
When I kindly informed her of the situation she simply replied «well you should have noted not to activate it» and told me that If I returned it I would be charged a 35 dollar restocking fee. That’s when I just got so irritated and told her they were wrong and it was their mistake. She kept going on about the policies of ordering online and picking up in store yet admitted she has never done an actual transaction herself. She was stuttering, mumbling and putting me on hold because she obviously didn’t know her own policies. Its basically similar to me ordering a black phone and AT&T sending me a gold phone and charging me 35 for the restock fee. DId I mention she was rude and unprofessional?
It gets better. So instead of reactivating the old phone she informed me that they could not do it from their store. I would have to go in myself and get a new sim for the phone they deactivated.
It’s not about the 35 bucks or the inconvenience of traveling to AT&T. it’s the principle. I was trying to be nice cause I’m just naturally a nice person. I find that cs reps and managers are more willing to accommodate to those who are friendly and patient. I never write a bad Unilocal review even when I have had horrible experience and I’m the type of person who tips generously even with horrible service. But this here I had to warn my fellow AT&T consumers about this place and especially that woman. GEMMA. Because if she has the absolute last say in anything then I fear for the generation of our youth …
And if I could give this a 0 star I would give it a negative 18!!!

This AT&T store has the worst customer service. Three times I’ve come here and was told the wrong information. Also I have a business account with many devices and the rep I spoke to never offered me a business promo (I found out about it at another location). The employees need customer service training and to be updated on specials. Would not recommend this location.

Worst customer service EVER. They don’t deserve a star. My parents went in to get some information in regards to their U-​Verse and were sold some FAKE bundle with Digital life. They were due to have everything installed and told their bill would be all in one. Well after arguing with WHOEVER the hell answered the phone nothing was explained. I called Digital Life who confirmed they DO NOT have bundles. They are their own department and my mother would be receiving a bill from them and the cable provider. The person who assisted my parents was not at work NOR did they ever pick up the calls when the Store Manager tired to call them. I will never be going into this store and after finding out they sold them some fake bundle I will soon to be cancelling whatever this Representative did. Please call AT&T yourself and have them assist you or you will be taken advantage of like my parents did.
The person at the store did not assist in giving me his name and hung up on me. I hope to figure out the store managers name and I will be filing a complaint.

I broke my phone yesterday. I came in today for a new phone. We all live in a busy world, and I used to feel the same way about walking into a mobile phone shop as I did with the DMV, just the clientele didn’t smell as bad.
I walked through the doors of this new, furnished joint, and was instantly greeted by a very kind gentleman by the name of Akari (I think. terrible with names). Long story short, he sorted me out very quickly. I wanted to be in and out, and he provided exactly the service I’ve always hoped for but came to expect less of — no bullshit. I’m all too used to people trying to sell me on shit I don’t need. Akari was real with me and I appreciate that greatly. He the real MVP.

I usually don’t write reviews, but my first experience at this store was not good. There are more people working here doing nothing than helping customer. It’s a joke when you have a staff full of employees gossiping and talking then really helping customer. I went in to this store with no one askiing if I need help until I approach a table full of employee just talking. Then I was ask to be put on a list and 20 min later… they forgot and call the next person that walked in. Ok… besides the bad experience… ATT now don’t offer discount after the 2 year contract expires… to make it worst… the NEXT plan really don’t offer anything for you as you are still paying the full price for the phone??? Why am I still a loyal ATT customer for all these years? Customer service is bad… no more discount phone for upgrade… ATT…tell me why I should stay being your customer?

Most businesses think that people go out of their way to write bad reviews. I write about good experience too.
In this case AT&T deserves the wrap sheet of bad reviews.
You call in store and speak to a representative that tells you what you think is good and accurate information… Only to find out that what they tell you is inaccurate when coming in store.
I mean WTH .: waste my time, gas, and good opinion of a business I once thought of having mediocre business customer service.
My only advice is DTA (don’t trust anybody) and do business with this carrier without giving your hopes up.

We went in to purchase a new phone (full price as AT&T has no more free phone offers). Our rep. claimed that we would pay a lower cell phone bill if we sign up for Digital Life, their home security system service. Stupidly we believed his scribbled calculations. He went on to ask what sort of automatic lock (included in the Digital Life service) color we liked. Selected the lock color, signed the iPad screen several times.
Fast forward to the Digital Life system and technician told us the camera (included in pkg.) is useless as it’s not waterproof so we couldn’t install it outside. Also the automatic lock was not compatible with our door. We would need to return these items and wait for a credit.
Twice we entered our PIN code to turn off our alarm, and the alarm would not recognize our PIN code which we entered correctly. We had to call their customer service which employs less than enthusiastic people. One week later one of the door contacts fell off; we were told we could buy double sided sticky tape and reattach it ourselves instead of having another tech come over.
Not happy at all with Digital Life for many reasons we wish to cancel. We were told that we would need to pay $ 613 in early termination fees because we were breaking the contract. What contract? The one that that cell phone rep. NEVER disclosed to us. Great for him he only considered his commission and nothing about us, the customers.
Not disclosing that the customer would be entering a contract is illegal. Will need to find a way to get the BBB involved. Seems as though many other customers in various locations have had cell phone reps. talk them into this Digital Life service and didn’t inform them that they too would be entering into a contract.
Thus, if anyone should go into this Daly City AT&T store for phone issues do not let the reps. sucker you into signing up for Digital Life.

Just wasted an hour waiting for someone to tell me they don’t repair phones like other stores do (i.e. Sprint). Think this could’ve been informed when I checked in? Also, maybe train your employees with customer service skills and to answer the customers questions. This broad wasn’t listening and assumed I wanted a new phone. Thanks for wasting my life.

The worst WAITING in line at&t store ever!!! Ive been here twice and its all the same thing!!! I waited almost 2 hours and when they call my name they didnt help me out! I wastes my 2hours time for NOTHING!!! There is 3 employee peoplw that is just standing in the corner doing NOTHING! they just talking and chatting and laughing!!! I just HATE THIS STORE!!! Yeah its a nice and neat store but the customer service is FCUK UP!!!

Location is new and modern. Very bright and a nice open space with multiple tables and wireless help throughout the store. I made an appointment and I am glad I did because there were ton of walk ins. There is someone who greets you at the door whom is the manager and handles all the appointments and walk ins. Although this all seems very pleasant, there still is quite a wait even when you have an appointment.
Now you must be wondering why the 1 star review. Well it all started yesterday when I went in to activate two new phones I got for my parents and also to get their contacts off their older sim card and onto the new micro one. The whole process took a while but it worked so we were content. The thing that upset me the most was I WAS NOT TOLD THAT I WOULD HAVE TO ADD A DATA PLAN TO ACTIVATE THESE SIMPLE SMART PHONES. If I had known that I would not have bought these phones in the first place. My parents DO NOT NEED DATA. they simply use their phones to make calls, take a few photos and that is ALL! I don’t understand AT&T’s policy on this. It makes ZERO sense. Honestly, if I had just been told in the first place when I first sat down and spoke with the guy who was helping us. then things would have been done completely differently. I don’t understand how he missed that big piece of information?! There is no reason why he couldn’t see on his ipad (when my account is pulled up) that my parents had basic phones with no data plan and that if I was switching over to a smart phone then I would be charged for a data plan. come on man…
Shortly after we were at the AT&T store, we went to dinner and I checked my AT&T app and I saw a data plan added onto my account without my consent and authorization which makes me extremely upset! I called the customer service line several times and was given the run around a bunch of times. I couldn’t even enjoy my dinner because of what had happened! I finally got on the phone with someone who was able to help me out thankfully. I have been a loyal AT&T customer for years… it’s so sad when things like this happen with a company that has been good to you all these years.
I am still baffled by AT&T adding a data plan without my consent… that is just wrong! Ugh!

Been waiting for hour… Skip the call 2x because people from the bottom have easier transaction. Maybe better if they have estimated time of wait and its 1^st come 1^st serve. Short transaction must have grab and go cashier

My experience at this store was the best in a long time. Indeed, out of my 5 star reviews I think this is the finest. As I am writing it I have the feeling that 5 stars are not enough and that I am falling short.
I dropped by to set up a new phone line and I found a great response by the staff members despite several very specific requests that I knew where not easy and they could be achieved only by an experienced and sharp employee. Robbie spent a great deal of time with me addressing the different technicalities that were needed to set up my line along with the device I wanted. Once we were done with the first part he continued helping me, this time to get the best plan for me within the budget I had in my mind.
Robbie has been able to help me take care of several annoying tasks that were driving me crazy. I wish I had met him earlier and I would have had saved so much time.

My first review of 2016 and unfortunately it’s not the best. This AT&T location just can’t hit the mark and meet the demands of their customers. To make it worse there lack of variety for their products is just sad and a complete letdown. The first thing that jumped out at me was the lack of consistent customer service and the ability to provide basic needs to its customers, will leave people like me with a bad taste in our mouths.
My wife and I walked in at 8PM on a Tuesday night and were greeted very pleasantly by the doorman. He was polite and very helpful with the few questions I had in regards to upgrading our phones. He notified us we had a 45 min. wait and although it was a bit long for a Tuesday night, I understood that there was probably a high demand that night. Imagine my surprised to turn around and literally see ten people in the store. Ten people! And there’s a 45 minute wait wait time and at least half a dozen employees working! How does that add up?
So as we waited I could look around and appreciate the size and cleanliness of the store. Everything has a place and in the corner of the room was a huge 65″ inch tv that helps with the long boring wait time. But as we shopped around the store for items like: cases, screen protectors and other things, we noticed there was no variety in the store. All the face out displays had the same ten to fifteen items just repeated throughout the store. It was disappointing to see that there’s nothing really available beside the same generic products and that these stores aren’t the one stop shop we as customers are really looking for. So with nothing else to do we simply waited and waited and waited. The nine o’clock hour came and as the store closed we still hadn’t been seen. This is now an hour after we arrived and know-​one has touched base with us to let us know about our status or even apologized about the long wait times.
Finally at 9:15 we were seen by an associate and instead of hearing what we needed and expediting the process in order to respect our time, he was to busy cracking terrible jokes and trying to sell us on a direct tv package. Like really? Dude, I don’t need that, all I want is to upgrade our phones and renew our two-​year plan and go home. By this time you can imagine my wife and I are just irritated and frustrated beyond belief. We both have spent years working in retail and customer service and the fact that our time and needs were being respected was a complete turn off. We later found out that there are over thirty employees that work at that store but according to the associate helping us, half of them don’t really work hard and kinda lazily walk around the store. No wonder this place has terrible reviews and the biggest issue here is the waiting time and poor customer service.
I could go on-​and-​on and way more In-​depth but I think you, the reader get the point. For a new store this place falls way short on being successful and hitting key marks with its customers. The lack of variety with the products, the long waiting times, with no real consideration for the customers is just awful. To make it worse the inadequate associates (not all of them of course just the few) make this a very undesirable location to go too. In my opinion I would tell everyone to avoid this location and go find a better store with better customer service.

DON’T LET THEM PORT YOUR DATA.
This happened a year ago at about this time in the older store.
I brought in my dad seeking to upgrade from the Motorola Razor to the iPhone 5S. The associate that helped me out said we can definitely migrate your contacts over. When she plugged in the Motorola Razor into the machine, she pressed some buttons and had a startled look asked her manager to come over to help her migrate the contacts over.
She gave us the iPhone and the Motorola razor back later.
She didn’t say anything, and there were only 4 contacts on the iPhone and the Motorola Razor. They were the only contacts on the SIM card. The contacts stored on the Motorola were all gone.
My dad asked where did all of his phone numbers go? 700 contacts were wiped from my dad’s phone, accumulated over how many years I can’t say. This hurt his business a lot because my dad is a contractor and he lost so many contacts.
The manager said sorry, there’s only 4 contacts on your phone, and we transferred this to your iphone.
Don’t let them touch your data.

On multiple occasions the wait times were about one hour. Considering the size and how new the store is, I would think they would have adequate staff available.

It takes 45 mins to get a new SIM card. Really!!! The agent I got, was trying to hit on me and my friend also noticed. All he talked about was his life. They should check their employees background.
I ended going to San Bruno at&t to get my phone questions answered.

This is the best AT&T store I’ve gone to. Super nice and swanky, didn’t mind (too much) waiting 45 min to be called.
Speaking of which make sure you give your name at the door! I waited at a table and went up to a few employees before I was told to give my name, granted this is a busy Sunday afternoon.
The person who helped me Darrion was super duper helpful in every way and I can’t recommend him enough. Very honest and up front about everything.
I got my new iPhone and was able to save some money on my monthly bill as well.
Keep up the great work, and just tell the door guy to make sure he asks everyone to sign in. I am already recommending to friends.
