Cybelle’s Pizza

I live pretty close to this place and they always deliver fast (never more than half an hour). The pizza is slightly above average and they’ve always gotten my order right.

I would have liked to post a minus, but since 1 star is the lowest that will have to do. After trying Cybelle’s, in Daly City 3 times, the last experience was the worst. DO NOT GET HOME DELIVERY!!! It is the worst I have every experienced by any Pizza Business. On 5÷2÷16 I ordered home delivery at 7:53 pm; 1 med pizza, 1 order of chicken wings, & 1 liter of soda. They said it would take about 1hr, which was a little confusing since my home is 1.1 miles from the store. But knowing that they do not always bring the pizza hot, I made request to make sure it was hot. Well the order arrived at 9 pm, bad enough, but the pizza room temp, and the chicken wings were cold. Now for a $ 35.32 charge, and only 1.1 miles away one would expect much more. I went to the store next day 11 Am, to see what explanation the manager would have but low & behold I was told there wasn’t any one in charge around. A again you have been «WARNED» don’t order anything from the business.

My first impression of this place was, «EH?!»
My Brazilian friend suggested to eat here and hang out. I was hesitated to go…“pizza? No way, I don’t feel like eating pizza…”. Brazilian buddy was like, «Bro, trust me, it’s good there. We’re not ordering pizza when we go there.»
So ok, he talked me and another buddy into going to this place and he helped us ordered a lot of foods that we didn’t understand. He was speaking in Brazillion to the waitress on what we want to order.
Sorry, I was only able to take two photo without being too ackward taking food photo with couple of guys there. My 2^nd photo got me caught being awkward. Brazilian buddy was like, «Man, why you taking food photo? Come on! Embarrasing man!». In my head, I was thinking, «I know! Stop making it so obvious!».
About 15 minutes the foods started to come out and we each have a variety plate of rice and vegi’s then a bunch of foods like beef rib, steak, chicken entrée. I gotta say, the beef rib was the best, the steak wasn’t too bad but the chicken was just okay to me. The beef rib was so good that we had to order another dish.
This place doesn’t look classy, but the Brazilian food is pretty good. I would come back again if I was ever in the area again.

I was there a lot times! I can say is fresh food and clean place! So I can say if u care about your health u can visit or call for delivery. It’s family and original food from Brazil! Amazing place! Thank u for to be near me!

I really like the tri tip here and the breaded chicken. I prefer going to eat here Vs. Delivery
Customer service is good and overall food is good, their portions on Brazilian food are pretty big

Pizza okay. Brazilian food. Reheat! Customer service is okay! Food not that great. Greek salad is not greek. Too many green bell pepper. Not enough feta cheese or olive!

Order a Meatball sandwich to go. I changed my mine to eat in instead for the fact that my salad was placed on a paper bag? I look inside the bag expected to see salad dressing 5 packs of Katchup 2 packs of mayo, I open the foil wrap and bread look good split my sandwich so I can add some permasian cheese, 4 slices of a meat ball?
Cheese was good I wondered why is it the the whole spread of cheese came off the bread, Mayo on a meatball sandwich???
I left it complete on the table and employee asked if everything was ok, I brought my concern and disappointment to him he then just walked away.

Placed an order for three pizzas and appetizers online for pick up which takes you to a Eat 24 managed site. The order was almost $ 80.00 On the notes portion for one of the pizzas, I wrote «no red sauce».
Come home to find the pizza slathered in red sauce. Called the restaurant and spoke to a woman who promised to call back. 15 minutes later a man called back, and said they never got the note. Blamed Eat 24, then said I never wrote the note. This pizza was under $ 20, but the lack of accountability and overall bad customer service means we will never get pizza there again. The other pizzas were underdone, the bottom crust was soggy. Calimari was okay. But can’t recommend the place based on last night.

Delivery or Di Giorno that was the choice I should have made I love pizza even bad pizza can be Dr. up to be decent. What cant be Dr. up is bad service especially when it come in the form of homophobia I’m not a proponent for gay rights but what I’m a proponent for is leting people live and not bashing people for what they want to do what I saw and heard was beyond anything that can be said in a review that may be read with kids in the room but when I saw an important looking person (owner maybe) is blatantly disrespecting a gay man is something I cant stand. He verbally abused his customer in a way that I wouldnt go back. Plus the food is not that good tasted like cardboard with government cheese and tomato pase. It was all in all an ugly experience.

Shared a pizza here with Mr. Piano, and while the pizza was decent, the menu is a really odd mishmash that makes me really curious about the place overall!
It’s a pizza joint. Except… it’s also got a Brazilian food menu? It seems like an odd combo to me, and I can’t speak to the Brazilian half of the menu as we just got the Greek Goddess pizza while waiting for Mr. Piano’s car to be serviced by his nearby mechanic. At any rate, the place certainly is labeled and looks like a pizza joint, and the pizza is, as the 3-​star rating text proclaims, a-​ok! The crust was a little too chewy, but it was otherwise fine. The pizza dough is egg-​free, though, for anyone else with an egg allergy who might want to know :)
Seriously, the most interesting thing about this place is the bizarre duality of the menu, at least for me – I am not sure if Italian-​Brazilian combination restaurants and such are a common thing elsewhere. All the same, it’s a kind of charming aspect of the restaurant (speaking as a half-​breed myself), and perhaps really the only thing that truly stands out about the place. Otherwise, it could easily be a clone of a generic round-​the-​corner pizza place that isn’t a chain.
It’s clean, the staff seems friendly enough, and there were folks having items that I assume were from the Brazilian side of the menu (because it didn’t look Italian and wasn’t pizza), so I guess if you want to try Brazilian but have a friend who only likes pizza, this would be a good place to go? I wouldn’t object to coming here again (and maybe taking a closer look at the Brazilian side of the menu to see if there’s anything I could eat off of it), but it’s not something I’ll be going out of my way to get to.

What rating do you give a place that delivers OK pizza (only ok) but delivers it one hour late (for the second time)?

Pizza is great. Atmosphere is Okay. Service is also an Okay. The restaurant itself could use some cleaning. Bathroom is clean, which is a Plus. This place just screams «It’s okay!»
The food choices are silly. I walk in to JUST expect Pizza, but they also have Brazilian and American food. There definitely were many Brazilians inside the restaurant which leads me to believe that the Brazilian food should be good.
Pizza is always good here. Always served as hot as possible and super cheesy!

Solid slices of pizza. Faster delivery than anticipated. Nothing extraordinary, but definitely a tasty spot.

I’ve been told by one of my Brazilian friends that this is one of the solid go to places for simple Brazilian cuisine. On the outside it just says pizza. But if you come in and ask for the menu you will see the Brazilian food on the menu. For about $ 12 you get a plus amount of food.

You’ll never believe this! Worst experience ever!
I called in to place my order late night, as they close at midnight. My call was answered by a woman with a very thick accent. I placed my order as usual and waited for a knock on my door with my pizza and other meals that I ordered for my family.
After an hour and a half went by, I called in to check on the status of my order. No one answered and never did I receive my delivery!!! The phone rang and rang, not once did I get a call saying that my order wouldn’t be delivered!!! It is now passed 1am and my family and I were beyond starving, in which I had to order from another company, who actually delivered the service you’re supposed to get! And of course we had to wait an additional hour, having our food arrive around 2am, instead of before midnight, as scheduled with Cybelles.
I was beyond angry that not only did my family and I not receive our food, but we never received a call or anything to notify us! Especially after the lady with the thick accent sat there and took my order, as if it was going to get delivered.
Unbelievable! Never using them again, thanks for the inconvenience and distraught caused to many people in my home!!!

Today I ordered a Marguerita Pizza with guarana (delivery) I was extremely well answered by the phone and the pizza was delivered before scheduled. The pizza was crusted and well filled. I’m very satisfied, but if on the next order the guarana Antarctica will be available it will be great !

Pizza sure… It’s good.
Came with my bf who is from south Brazil he was very excited to show me Brazilian comfort food. And as he told me they did not disappoint.

Husband and I got home late and after putting the kid to bed realized we were starving and grocery-​less. Decided to give Cybelle’s a try for pizza. After reading reviews, I heeded the warnings against delivery and ordered for pickup. Calling was quick and easy. Pizza was ready in 20 min like the nice lady said it would be. Reasonable price for a good sized medium.
Now, if you’re comparing this pizza to something at Delfina’s or Patxis then yeah it’s not that good. But if you take it for what it is– your average strip mall pizza joint– then it’s good stuff. Reminds me of the pizza I had growing up in Phoenix, before I moved to SF and my palate got fancy. Next time though, I’ll ask for extra sauce to balance the large cheese/​sauce ratio they’ve got going on.

This is one of my 300+ restaurant reviews in my bucket list. I was going through my Unilocal photos and realized that I had eaten here before and forgot all about it. And if my memory serves me right, I enjoyed their steak along with the huge side dish that came with it like rice, beans and salad. I never ate their pizza but from what I heard, it’s really good. My buddies who I came here with also enjoyed their steak but did mentioned it was a bit overdone. Remember to tell them how you want yours cooked otherwise you may not be a happy camper.
PS — try their Brazilian soda called «Guaran.» It was refreshing!
