Papa Ray’s Pizza – Westlake

Really good pizza! Have order from them a few times and they’re always very helpful and nice.

This is a best service delivery Daly City around, I try others but I don’t got on time .
I’m was really impressed how they are fast and nice peoples.

Seriously love everything that I’ve ever ordered from here and that’s saying something since I’m such a picky eater! Amazing garlic bread-​esque crust and yummy fresh ingredients. Also had some tasty stuffed feta and spinach breadsticks that I could live off of. I’m still taken aback by how totally delicious their french fries are, they’re one of my favorite foods so I’ve eaten a lot of em and these ones are just so shockingly good!!! Came hot with the perfect balance of crispiness and yummy flavor.

Their calzones are amazing! Their sandwiches are really good. Their pasta is boring. Their pizza is terrible.

Ordered a calzone for delivery. As the calzone looks really appetizing, it smells super bad! So bad to where I cannot eat it. How bad you ask? It smells like someone threw the calzone on the floor of a men’s bathroom covered in urine bad. Calzone is currently in my room and my room smells like a stinky bathroom. I’m sorry but I had to throw it away. Never had food smell this bad in my life.

Most of the times I’ve ordered from here have been really good, but it looks like they’ve gone down in quality and in customer service.
I ordered for pickup from their Miriam location a couple days ago, when I got there it was one girl working the entire the place by herself.
Fast forward to when I get home, open our pizza, and it looked like someone forgot it in the oven! The edges were burned and the toppings were all crispy and dry. On top of that the girl forgot to add tomatoes and threw on one piece of sausage.
When I called to let them know they messed up the pizza all I got was «oh you wanted tomatoes». She then told me I would receive a 2 $ refund for the tomatoes or be sent a coupon for a free soda… yeah like that’s what I wanted. It’s been days and I still haven’t received a refund or anything.
I feel bad that girl has to work the entire place by herself and I know everyone makes mistakes but at least have some basic customer service skills.
Not going to be ordering from here anymore. Pasquale’s pizza is way better quality wise and customer service wise.

A great pie! Simply the best hand tossed pizza crust in town. I am stuck on a margharita pizza with add ons. Like any or all of these: Italian sausage, artichoke hearts, black olives, green bell peppers, onions, extra mozzarella. Never greasy. Always delivered hot and ready to eat. And we also love their cheesy bread! Salads are simple, not fancy. We order through EAT24, the delivery times are great. A truly satisfying delivery pizza! (We’ve ordered from them about once a week since the middle of November 2015, as I never like to review a place unless it consistently is FAB. And I don’t understand the one star folks… maybe they ordered from the other Papa Ray’s by mistake.)

This pizza was unacceptable and the only thing enjoyable about this pie was the fact that the delivery guy was wearing a santa hat. The pizza was only lukewarm, like the way I like my showers, instead of being «Delicious oven hot pizza» like stated on the pizza box. Secondly, the prices for the topping cost me an arm and a leg. We only live a couple of miles away and it took forever to get here. Nine times out of ten I will never order from here ever again. and let me just add that I definitely know what 16 inches looks like– but that was NOT SIXTEEN INCHES! This is so disappointing… like my sex life. The ¹⁄₁₀ will be when I am super inebriated. This will be the first and last time I will ever order from Papa Ray’s Pizza WESTLAKE. This is unacceptable, as this is their job to provide a quality pizza that reflects their work.

Ordered through Eat24. Honestly, don’t order from here if you’re hungry. I ordered a pizza for delivery and it took them over 90 minutes to deliver.
The pizza was just warm, not hot, and not that great since it wasn’t hot.
The driver said, «Sorry, we’re a little short-​handed and I came from Pacifica.»
I’m less than 1.5 miles away, less than 10 minutes away and closer than Pacifica, don’t you think it’s smarter to deliver to me first and then go down to Pacifica?

I ordered a small pizza with double pepperoni and extra cheese. I paid $ 4.50 for three toppings on top of the price of the pizza.
There was barely one layer of pepperoni and the cheese barely covered that.
With my 20% tip I paid $ 23.00 for shitty pizza.
Will never go back.

Consistently good pizza. Haven’t tried much of the other items on the menu, but we never go wrong with the pizza.

Friendly staff who are helpful and accommodating. Very close to home and when I’m not in the mood to cook I come and order the two slices with soda deal for $ 5.99. Each with one topping. Decently sized and freshly prepared.

I ordered through Eat 24. Fries came crispy as I ordered, pizza not really crispy, and they forgot my soda. Driver said he was going to come back and never did. Anyways, I decided to eat my salad a day later and found there’s plastic in it after I was almost done eating it! Can’t figure out where it’s from, but I feel nauseous just thinking about the possibility of what it’s from. Never again am I ordering from this place!

Food = excellent.
We tried the thin-​crust California Combo pizza. It was awesome. Perfect crust. Can’t wait to try the Brooklyn style crust next.
Buffalo wings, spicy. Delicious, spicy and moist. They also have BBQ.
Linguine chicken pesto = perfect. Savory, creamy and hit the spot. Comes with their house bread – so good!
Italian baked sandwich = very good. Plenty of peppers, flavors and filling.
Prices = moderate. (They have some coupons via EAT24 app). All of above for $ 42.
Service = fast delivery.
They have a large menu. You were warned. Enjoy.

Nothing compares to topping off a lazy weeknight with Ray’s special and their stuffed cheesy bread! Beautifully compliments my Netflix shows and a glass of wine. They have a lot of other stuff too (pastas, sandwiches, appetizers, etc.), but I’m a simple gal, so I stick to my go-​tos. Delivery is quick and the staff is nice!

A huge slice of fresh pizza and a soda for less than $ 5! Can’t go wrong.
And the lady at the counter is super friendly.

I ordered a pizza with them through Eat24. I had ordered with them the week before, they had a deal that included free breadsticks with the pizza. When the driver showed up, he only brought me the pizza, I told him I felt cheated since I had ordered the same deal before. He told me they would give me a credit, and that he only delivered for them. I refused the order, as soon as I did the restaurant called us at midnight multiple times to harass us. I strongly suggest people just do not support this business, the pizzas are of mediocre quality, we just ordered with them since they delivered late, sadly they can’t get it together.

They were fast. The delivery driver followed instructions about not ringing the doorbell and calling instead. The food was delicious, especially the fried prawns. The dessert was still a little bit frozen, and it wasn’t the best I’ve had, but it was decent. The vegetarian lasagna was a little bit on the salty side and I wish it had more vegetables. Overall, quite tasty though.

Although I originally had a pretty bad experience with the delivery time the manager called to apologize and offered a free menu item to make up for it. The meat supreme calzone was awesome, as was the pizza they sent. Crust was great. I would recommend this place to anyone now but hope that they can get their delivery a little faster.
Update: I have since ordered a number of times and delivery times were 45min or less (usually around 30−35min)

Yummy! Now I didn’t order any pizza, but what I got was amazing! I had the chicken Alfredo, meatball and cheese app, minestrone soup, and vegetarian salad. The salad was huge and fresh! Minestrone soup tasted just like my grandmas soup, almost like you can taste the love coming out of it. The Alfredo came with garlic bread, which my bf stole to make a mini meatball sandwich. He said it was amazing. And the Alfredo was perfect. Just added some fresh cracked pepper and I felt like I was having an amazing Italian dinner at home. The portion sizes was perfect. More on the large size.
Delivery took 46 minutes from the time I placed my order though EAT24. The driver was speedy and very friendly! So happy they deliver to Pacifica now!
Definitely ordering from them again.
