I’m not gonna lie. I’m probably here every weekend. Silogs are easy to make at home, but on the weekend, would you rather make the sinangag, fry the eggs, fry the meat/fish, and clean up? Or would you rather pay $ 5 for convenience. Ever since I discovered Plaza Rizal, I choose convenience every time. Worth every $! The standouts: –Bangus: The Bangus here was my first introduction to Plaza Rizal’s signature breading. The breading for their deep fried dishes is ONPOINT. Super crispy, super light! The Bangus is the best thing here. I’ve never had Bangus like this before. –Pork chop: thin, bone-in and breaded in Plaza Rizal’s signature breading –Fried chicken: comes with a side of gravy that I don’t really care for, but good on its own Pretty good: –Tapa: slightly salty for my taste(slightly excessive on the Maggi marinade), but still tender and flavorful –Tocino Pass: –Longaniza

Food is ok. Price is so-so. Expensive for a simple food. Ambiance is cool thats why I gave 3 stars. Service is good too not too fast, not to slow. I just want to say that while this is a good restaurant the food is just simple :) The usual silog joint :)

I went here twice with friends and will be back again. A hidden gem in the city. The food and presentation is really great.

$ 5.99 for a breast and a leg, scrambled egg, and brown rice is a steal. It’s served silog, Filipino style. My dad had the tapas which was tender and flavorful. Friendly service is a plus too.

One star for modernizing the place the other star for semi friendly service. But I got my food after 30 min of waiting and there was only 3 other tables in the restaurant. Why? I have also heard from friends who have dined here that they have experienced the same thing. Need to speed it up!

Hidden gem– one of the better Filipino restaurants in Daly City! There are many Filipino restaurants to choose from but this wins on price and quality of their dishes. My parents eat here weekly and go for their special buffets on holidays like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. We catered with them for Easter an everything was done on time. Everyone asked where we got the food from. Plaza Rizal is also great for private parties– I booked out the restaurant for a dinner. Food is always delicious. Service is very friendly– from the waitress to the chef!

First off– I really really wanted to like this place. Came here because of their ridiculously cheap silog, and I love a good silog. I came here on two separate occasions, I’ve tried their bagnus milkfish silog and their chicken adobo silog. BOTH times I’ve tried their food here, everything was tasty and fine, but then AFTER my stomach would be DYING. That would be my meal for the whole day since my stomach couldn’t take anything else. Obviously other people here had great experiences, and I do agree that the food is tasty, but my stomach can’t take it! waaaaah :(

The pancit here makes it for me. When we ordered our food to go, we asked for everything less salty. They made it perfect. The noodles came out piping hot, even after a 20 minute drive home and a 15 minute wait for everyone to get seated. The noodle portions were actually very large. The bangus sisig was also very delicious. The service was great and the food was made very well. I’d love to come back again.

Great authentic Filipino Restaurant with great prices! I have been to Plaza Rizal several times now and I love it! The food is great, well-prepared, flavorful, and fresh!(There pork sisig is a must! So good!) Also they serve food breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The service is very friendly and always helpful, they take good care of you! The restaurant is very nice, it has an overall contemporary feel but they do have some traditional filipino art that give a nice touch to the place! Overall, this is by far one of the best filipino restaurants on the peninsula. Kind of like a diamond in the rough! Must try!

I’m a fan! A friend brought a tray of their sisig to a party one time and was instantly hooked and determined to eat at this restaurant. Came here after the superbowl the other month. We ordered the sisig(of course!), bistek, the coconut veggie dish, and a couple others i can’t seem to remember. The sisig was my favorite. It’s as if they took lechon kawali and chopped it up into sisig size pieces. It was amazing! It is also served with an egg, which makes it even better. If i came here and just ordered the sisig and rice, i’d be a happy customer. I also liked the coconut veggie dish called GSK Guinataan Sitaw & Kalabasa. So good!!!

Walked in today for breakfast… Not bad! Nice place, clean restroom, friendly staff, affordable and good food! We expected it though to be oily(like how we Filipinos prep our food!) but all in all it was good! A must try! The TfC channel was an added bonus as well.

The deals are great and the food is bomb. I chitchat w the owners whenever I’m there and they’re really nice. So far it’s the best filipino joint king plaza has ever had. Will always support mom and pop restaurants :) Also I love their longsilog and lumpia! Must haves~

If I could put more than 5 stars, I totally would!!! If you are looking for«real» thing silogs, this is your place! Very good price with very good food, who said that quality has to be sacrificed when you are on budget? Totally NOT in this restaurant! I love their wall papers too! Reminds me of laguna and intramuros :) for dessert, do not forget to get their trio«ube, leche flan with macapuno tower» heaven!!!

I have tried many Filipino restaurants in California and this one is certainly one of their best. I was unaware of the existence of Bangus SiSig and was not disappointed when I tried it it was pretty good. My favorite Filipino fish is Kare Kare and the one they have here is so creamy and rich with flavor I will chart it in one of the best I had. The lumpias are freshly made! And their Crispy Pata is unique. To finish we had the Halo Halo, I had this dessert in many different restaurants in Los Angeles and no of them were as good and fine ice as the one here. I would definitely comeback :)

Things to know: They have breakfast prices until 11am($ 4 silogs), then it changes to lunch prices until 3pm. They reopen at 5pm for dinner. Ordered some takeout from this place and I am a happy boy. Quality silogs and the tocino was just right. I never liked what Goldilocks has to offer, plus their prices have gone up. Now I have a cheap spot to grab some silogs that is closeby(it’s located right next to Onyx Boba and across Class Bowl). Happy Silogs!

Great service & great food for a small place. The staff acknowledged me and smiled when i came in. The food was served within five mins. Everyone was accomodating. The food was just right. I got the sizzling marinated pork. It was very tasty & soft enough. I would come again & try other foos from their menu.

First off, parking is always a challenge in this center thanks to Manila Oriental. If you are lucky enough to find parking, before 11:00AM, they have the most bang for the buck Filipino breakfast you can have. The portions are adequate. The flavor is good(we tried the longganisa and tocino). And did I mention the price? Most rice plates were $ 3.99. Service was spotty but their friendliness more than makes up for this. Would definitely try their dinner menu next time.

**Take-Out review only** Last weekend, my husband surprised me with a take-out order from Plaza Rizal. Tocilog is one of my all-time favorite comfort meals and half of the restaurants I go to either make it too sweet or too garlicky. After my first bite, I knew right away that Plaza Rizal’s Tocilog was the perfect balance of sweet and salty. It was so good! To top it off, the portions are generous and the price is affordable! I’ll definitely be back for more. Tip: My Tocilog traveled from Daly City to Sonoma so I got a wet paper towel, put it on top of the garlic rice and microwaved it for a minute. Good as new!
