Silva Hardwood Floors

We had our hallway and entry floors done and could not be happier. Leo Silva and his son, Dan, came recommended by a neighbor and while we were originally planning to use a company we had used in the past, the Silva team’s quote came in at less than half the estimate provided by them.
They were on time, were very responsive via text, worked tirelessly to stay on schedule and even accommodated our request to continue their work over the weekend so that we could take advantage of being put of town rather than having to make special accommodations while the floors dried. The floors look amazing and it is clear they take great pride in their work.
I will say that the communication is a bit informal – again, very responsive but primarily via text with Dan, and unlike some other companies, they did not provide (nor did I request) a written estimate with a detailed breakdown of materials and labor costs. But for less than half the price other companies quoted, I can do without the paperwork.
Incredibly trustworthy, left our home looking cleaner than when we left it, and most importantly, high quality work.

I in the process of getting quotes from different companies to replace flooring in a couple of rooms. I called them for an appointment. They sent over someone that all he was there for is do measurements. He couldn’t provide any info about the company or flooring options. EVERYONE else that come from other companies spent time with me and discuss what I wanted.
Then a get a text saying, provide an email and we will give a quote. NO PHONE CALLS, again nothing to discuss options and answer questions. I t old them I had a number of questions, which I sent to them… After that, I got zero response… no quotes, no email, no calls… I guess they didn’t like my questions for info about their company.
VERY UN-​PROFESSIONAL… recommend all to look elsewhere.
