I went to the Serramonte Sunglass Hut after purchasing a pair of RayBans at the Stonestown location. The ones I purchased at Stonestown were the last pair which had been on display and although I didn’t see anything wrong with them I just felt more comfortable with a brand new pair that hadn’t been touched by a bunch of customers. Genevieve helped me at the Serramonte location and she was extremely pleasant about the whole situation(I assumed the person helping me would throw a fit because I wanted to exchange my sunglasses for the same pair). She even asked me to try them on so she can size it properly to my face which Stonestown employees did not do. It feels great to be helped by someone who knows what they’re doing.

I just wanted a certain pair with polarized lenses, if available. The 4 employees couldn’t say if they came that way. I showed them sunglass Hut website offered them polarized. They all seemed baffled except one young man working there who continuously sang loudly along with the music playing in the store. No one offered to look or to order them. I was the only customer in the store Sunday morning June 21, 2015. Who hired a store full of employees that didn’t want to work? Lost sale.

My goodness! I found a display pair of sunglasses in a Los Angeles SGH but they were scratched and the store didn’t give me a discount. Boo. Anyways, I called up this SGH in Daly City(I asked the LA hut to look up the model number and find the pair in another store) and they had TWO in stock so naturally I chose the pair that wasn’t on display. Bri is fabulous! As I was unable to personally walk into the store, Bri took photos of the sunglasses and sent them to me so I could make sure they were the right design. She was very kind on the phone and accommodating of my situation. She assured me these glasses were brand new and never been touched(I can vouch for that) and she gave me free shipping! Wonderful person! I was able to get my sunglasses in time for the holidays with no hassle. She put the receipt inside as well ;) Thank you so much!!!

I purchased a pair of Oakley Holbrooks, not top of the line sunnies but definitely not something to laugh at. I was under the impression they were guaranteed with lifetime tune ups for the frames or at least a halfway decent return policy. Besides the incompetent telling me my glasses were«not broken» she also told me that their tune up guarantee only applies to «certain models». I was not informed of this when purchasing my glasses, which i consider false advertising. Aside from smashing my glasses and bringing them back(for which she would give me half off the same pair, not replace or fix them which, mind you, i was guaranteed) there was nothing she could do. Save yourself the trouble, head to Macy’s. 1 year return policy and no attitude.

My buddy got a great deal on some new Versace’s. Thanks Chelsea you were a sweetheart, very helpful and made a great memorable impression that may just bring me back there again.

Nancy, the store manager there is such a cool chick! She was very helpful in recommending which pair of sunglasses fits my face better and looks nicer. Knowing Ray-bans don’t fit everybody’s nosebridge/face without sliding off… Nancy adjusted it for me! Now I can jump around without it coming off. WHOOOOO! She totally sold me on the lens cleaner for $ 9.99. Come on, unlimited refills for the rest of your life. Why not?!

I was so bummed when a pair of sunglasses I purchased from Sunglass Hut that was on sale wasn’t working out for me. The temples had some rubber cover on it that kept catching my hair and pulled on it every time I took them off. Not exactly what you want happening with a pair of running shades. Anyway, I brought them in and the staff was very helpful. The first time I tried to return it, I took a lot of time looking at different glasses, but couldn’t find any that worked for me. So the staff person asked if I wanted to try it with different temple covers. She pulled out another set of temple covers from a similar sunglass style and replaced them for me at no charge. Great? Problem solved right? Well, no, it didn’t work out quite how I thought. Soon enough, I ended up having the same problem after a few days. So back I went and they quickly refunded me for the pair. No attitude, no «are you sure» pitches, no «there must be something you can exchange it for» pressure. Their return policy is very generous(within 90 days with a receipt) and I tried to make these work for at least two months. I’m still bummed that I couldn’t keep them, but I will definitely be back soon to try again. I got two other pairs from here a while ago and while they are a bit more expensive, they last quite a long time.

I came here asking question about glasses to test how knowledgeable their staff was. They failed. I was asking about a few styles and see what inventory they had. They said there was no such thing as an Oakley Oil Drum, when it has been replaced by the Oil Rig. They also said that Oakley doesn’t make TRANSITIONS® when SOLFX™ is a transitions. Then they called the G30 iridium a rose colored lens, when asked what color it was.

I had purchased a pair of polarized Oakley sunglasses as a Christmas present and unfortunately, when the gift was opened on Christmas Day, one of the lenses had popped out. Went back the day after Christmas to exchange them and the salesgirl(I believe her name is Chelsea) was extremely helpful. We ended up getting a different style of Oakleys, which were $ 10 more. We were really impressed with Chelsea’s attention to detail and the time she took to make sure the new sunglasses she gave us were in pristine condition. Would have loved to give them 5 stars but I had to dock off one star for the original pair of faulty sunnies that was sold to me.

Yes, their prices may not be the cheapest, but their service is mostly good and their return policy is excellent. See, you can buy a pair of sunglasses from any of their stores worldwide and return them at any of their stores! Of course, they only sell genuine branded sunglasses.

Sunglass hut chain has lots of sunglasses in one place. usually the workers are snooty or mean. the girl here was really nice. she put up with my friends and i bickering and leaving and coming back, and trying on a bunch of glasses. But, there was no one else there, and in the end she gets comission off of 2 cute pairs of sunglasses(one for me!).

I found it too expensive for just a pair of sunglasses that I can probably go to Chinatown for. But they have really chic ones, so who can help it but buy one. It’s just like the hat store, you need it, you can get it somewhere else, but you don’t!
