Agreed with what Jess A said. I’m also adding my experience. I went to the Danbury CHC twice the past few weeks. First time was for a «checkup,» where they basically only took my blood work. The second time was to follow up on my blood test. The first time I went, it took the doctor 40 minutes to see me. Okay, I figure the doctor is nice, maybe they were just understaffed that day. The second time, it took 1 hour and 15 minutes. I asked the receptionist why it was taking so long. She said they were waiting for an exam room to free up. When I was finally placed in an exam room, it took another 20 minutes for the doctor to see me. I noticed her playing musical rooms with other patients. I have never waited so long to see a doctor that I made an appointment for. I am not going to this place again. In summary, Pros: Nice doctor & staff Cons: Egregiously long wait time, no followup from staff, no reminder phone call for appointment, ridiculously overscheduled appointments with few staff/doctors to pull their weight.

Don’t go! Worst experience ever. Staff is unorganized and dr will charge for multiple appointments for ONE physical so she can collect from the insurance company and you. I scheduled a physical and when I went dr frierson told me that I had to come back once I got bloodworm done. So going to talk about family history is charged as a physical(initial visit). The 2nd visit is the actual visit. If you don’t have insurance it’s 143 per physical. In this case you would be charged double since they like to code your first visit as a physical. The admin staff told me when I called about the billing that they never do a physical on the first visit but they will charge you for it as one!
