In in all fairness, I took some time to speak with the cashier before ordering. Was initially told they do not accept coupons, so I decided to try something simple. Ordered fresh mozz balls that were fried. They were absolutely horrible. They were cold inside and greasy on the outside. I was told the same owner does own the one in the mall and down the road. It’s definitely not a place that I would recommend. I cannot imagine that it will be around for long. Really should pay more attention to the temperature food is cooked at. Not for me.

Food very good, meatballs are so small and soft, they just crumble. After the meal you leave hungry! Oh well… and very expensive

The seasonal salad with arugula, spinach, pecans, goat cheese and chicken was amazing, and we also had the meatballs which were incredible and authentic tasting!

What can you say about this place but… Awesome as always! Robert and his staff are great. Love both locations. We have to be patient when a new place pops up and new people come on board. I wouldnt say anything negative but say be patient with the location and let them grow! Robert is a great owner and manager and has put his heart and passion into the business. Mill Plain will always be the place but i am coming to like the mall also. Fresh food at great prices. Gets no better than that. Rob did something great for me almost 2 yrs ago at the Mill Plain location and till this day, he remembers me and still support. I am the «Pink Sauce Guy» :)

I am not sure what the previous review is all about. My family and I have gone to Mimas on Mill plain Road many times and have always found the food exceptional. We visited the new location in the mall and found the food to be just as exceptional and delicious as their Mill Plain Rd location. Granted they just opened up and as with all new restaurants they may had to get the kinks out. We had the zucchini linguine with meatballs that were definitely served hot and delicious. My granddaughter had the vegetarian meatballs and arugula salad with beans, which she loved. I also took home a family dinner to go at another time that was equally awesome. I plan to make Mimas my regular eating place at the mall.

I wouldn’t want an establishment to have a negative review as it’s first, but unless I have an otherwise experience I won’t change my mind. Firstly, they have to do something with the menu on their wall; it’s barely visible (had to grab a menu and read off that instead). There was one person ahead of me and took them over five mins to prepare my small order of spaghetti and 3 mini meatballs. That’s fine as long as the food came out ok, but that wasn’t the case. They took that long to prepare my dish and yet my meatballs were cold… that’s just unacceptable! And to top it off, I thought the sprite I order tasted a bit weird, so I asked for a coke instead. Turns out something is wrong with their soda machine, causing all the soda that comes out to be flat. Just a negative experience and not sure I’ll return. Best of luck.
